NO! You don't say??
Tell me more.
Waking up to the Mission resignation, I was thinking about it while cleaning the pool this morning. I see a parallel between Missions actions, siding with and protecting a friend or someone he knew personally (whether intentional in Missions case or not) and Mike having done the same thing with the Qfit situation.
Both were about an administrator playing favoritism and showing the forum in a bad light. It is funny how Mission's head rolled, while Mike just weathered a similar outcry with his
"my way or the hyway" and
"don't let the door hit you in the ass" attitude. Makes me think of the Mel Brook's line
"It's good to be King".

Speaking of the "Queen B" over-moderator Babs, going unnoticed (or uncommented on) in this ordeal was Bab's 14 day suspension of member 'OutsideTheBox'. First a warning that OTB was getting dangerously close to a personal attack. And then a suspension martingaled x3 (out of the blue). The way the martingale is
supposed to work is 3 days for first offense, 7 days for second and 14 days for third, as I understand it. But over-moderator BBB just chose to make her own rules as she goes, in this case because the offense involved someone she liked or pretended to like (Mission).
That in a nutshell is why WoV is out of control and on a snowballing decline.
