MrBo resigned from being a member. Either way, does it matter if he's in the BJ HOF or not? If someone is a trouble-maker, it doesn't matter if it's a troll-bot from Russia, James Grosjean, or anyone else in between.

You know...your spelling is atrocious! I am not a good speller (mostly spell things as they sound), so I never hold spelling or grammar against anyone, but jiminy crickets, Axelwolf.

OK, moving on, I really don't know if Mrbo is Bojack. At first when he posted some public negative comments about me, I thought he wasn't. But he knew and said things that only Bojack would have known. And I am not talking about things other members of those sites would know...I mean only Bojack would know. I don't much care either way. Really doesn't effect me. I just find it interesting that Mike likely blew off the last remaining BJHoF member on his site. It's probably as Mickey said, Mike probably had no clue, even though he probably met the man. I am still confused what it was even about? Hasn't IBYA been off the site for a while?

So running into him? I never met the guy, so I would have no idea. He says he looked me up and found me. I am not sure I believe THAT. He didn't introduce himself.

Bojack doesn't play green to light black stakes....at least that I know of. He was a higher stakes player, or at least used to be. He was a multi millionaire. Owner and flew his own plane. I really have no idea now. Perhaps he is semi-retired or something and plays lower stakes than in his prime. Or perhaps like a lot of the good old boys from yesteryear, he can't play games at the stakes he used to.

Even the ones who never dare post on a forum.
So I just looked at the blackjack info site. Wanted to pull up some old posts and post a link. Unable to do so. There is a search feature where you can search by member. I typed in Bojack and got nothing despite that he was a frequent and probably the best poster on that site. So then I checked myself....again the search feature said no record found. I then checked Munchkin, QFIT and Shadroch (billryan)....no records found. Must have something to do with the site changing owners. Blackjackinfo is now owned by LatestCasinoBonuses, the same organization that owns WoV. Perhaps you could check with them and find out why their search feature isn't working.

BTW, did you check with billryan? He was one of the leading posters on that site, he ought to know Bojack.

The only other possibility is Qfit's site. When blackjackinfo closed in 2011, most of the membership went to Qfit's site. Bojack migrated, but he like so many in the community had some sort of issue with Norm, so Bojack registered under a different handle and only posted 70 times. I mean I guess I could give you that different handle (in private). I have to think about that. Even though I don't communicate with Bojack any longer, that sort of feels like a violation of his privacy to me. I really have to think about it, since it was told to me in confidence. I mean, this little detective thing isn't my thing. That's your game. Do I want to violate something told in confidence so you can play your game? I am going to need someone to convince me why I should?

It is funny you mention "king James" (highlighted). When Mrbo first showed up at WoV, Grosjean was one of my first thoughts. Several years ago, he created sockpuppet accounts at both BJ21 and Qfit's site, just to rip me. Maybe you remember it? You know what his big thing was?....He didn't or doesn't think I have progressed and expanded into other avenues of advantage play as I should have. What James doesn't understand nor bothered to find out is that I like card counting. I am proud to call myself a card counter. I enjoy making my living by this means.

I have been told by someone who sometimes teams with Grosjean, that "he was just trying to lite a fire under me". I guess it is one of those things....with friends like that.....

But anyway, Mrbo is not King James.

This board has long had a much smaller membership than WoV, and that makes it easier for several members with a unified front to strongly influence and effect both the content and the atmosphere of the board.

Were there more posters, presumably vocal yays would shout down the nays, but that isn't happening now.

To me it's amazing that nearly 100% of the original posters who were here for years talking about Vegas and gambling are gone.

The reason we get non participating visitors here is that the old discussions about players clubs and comps and games and tipping still show up in search engines. But when the public gets here what do they see?

    It's a shame.

Alan, to be fair, I didn't even know what this site was until I was informed my picture was put on this website. I'm pretty sure lots and lots of people have no idea about this Forum.

This was never a well known forum. When I started it the participants came from my TV show website where I placed links on various pages. But that was about ten years ago. The participants then were consumers looking for info about Vegas trips and Southern California casinos and businesses. There was no arguing or insulting back then.

He wasn't making trouble just asking questions. It had to do with the WoN cover up.

Mr. Bo seems to know an awful lot about east side cannery for a bjhof member running bj teams for 40 years...

That's exactly what I was thinking when I was discussing him with KJ.

I would assume that is or has been on KJ's route. As to why I assumed he would have run into him. And why I assumed he was a green to low black chip player.

It would be hard to play at that joint and not notice another card counter.

  14. #2594
OK what are we talking about here? Why would you think Bojack would hang out at Eastside Cannery?

For that matter why would any card counter above a red chip player hand out at Eastside Cannery?

Eastside Cannery was in my blackjack rotation for a few years. IIRC I had some discussions about Eastside Cannery with MaxPen about 5 years ago, specifically their treatment of an older blind blackjack player (non-card counter), who Eastside Cannery was ripping off. But that's another matter.

So Eastside Cannery was in my blackjack rotation for about 3 years I guess. Being a smaller place, it was one of those places I had to tone my spread and top bet down a little bit. But they had a game that was worth it. Double deck game, with ASM, dealt face up (like El Cortez). Penetration was all over the place, ranging from a non-playable (for me) 55% up to very profitable 80%. Very dealer dependent. If was a hand held game, so there was no shoe or "notch" in shoe for a standard penetration.

So for a couple years, I played as much as I could at a small casino like that. That would be 3-4 short sessions per week, different times, but even that was tricky because this particular game was only open from 11am until 7pm or so. So I didn't have 3 shifts to spread out my play.

So anyway for about 2 years, great results, in my top 3-4 casinos as far as individual results and relatively no heat. And then all of the sudden something changed and I believe they began cheating. (I know this puts me in the ZenKing conspiracy theory class). But I am going to tell the story.

One day, pit guy "Morris" comes over to the ASM as soon as I sit down and punches in some numbers. This ASM had a small keypad (numbers only) and small display screen....just enough to read a line or two of text.

So after Morris punched in the code, I began losing. I lost big that day. Losing most of my bigger bets, and the ones I didn't lose I pushed, usually with 20. So I didn't think much of it. I have lots of days like that. So over the next 6 months or so, I began to notice that I was not doing too well at Eastside at this usually very good (for me) game. I wasn't in the red, but just about even. In analyzing my results, I notice many small wins, offset by a handful of bigger losses. I also began to have this feeling that whenever Morris came over and punched in a code on the machine, I usually suffered one of those pretty big losing days. Morris was the only pit person who ever came over and punched in a code.

Looking back, it took me far longer to figure this out that it should have. Basically, I had a mindset that in this day and age or corporate casino ownership, casino's don't cheat. Just too much risk, plus they don't need to. BUT, once I figured this pattern out, the results were undeniable. On the day's Morris was working and punched in a code to the ASM, I lost and usually lost big. And I even saw the pattern of how. I lost most of my big bets because even though the count was high, meaning a surplus of 10's & Aces, still more small cards came out. And then all of the sudden once a shoe, for a several rounds all 10's came out. I would push several max bet hands with the dealer. For a long time, I would think "well here come the 10's just like they are supposed to". Again, it probably took me far longer to realize, the 10's were clumped together where they couldn't hurt the dealer, regardless of number of players or cut. Just several rounds of pushing 20's.....and then the rest of the rounds were played with a depletion of 10's...huge house advantage.

So one time when Morris came over and punched the code in, I asked what that was about. He responded with some BS line about a system diagnostic check. So, I replied that every time he did this system check, I lose. I think I even said that I push a few hands with 20 and lose the rest. I wanted him to know, that I suspected foul play. He probably thought to himself, "took you long enough". lol That was the last day I played BJ at Eastside Cannery and that was at least 2, maybe 3 years ago.

Now Eastside Cannery, remained in my partners video poker play rotation, because the had good mailers (like most of Vegas, they have gotten crappier lately). So I did still frequent Eastside Cannery, just no BJ. So, if you have some information that Bojack hangs out there, yes, maybe I have seen him, but I am sure not at the BJ tables. I don't play BJ there and there is nothing for any blackjack player card counter there, so I don't know why Bojack would be there, unless he happened to live near there and that was his local casino for something else....some other reason. And really there aren't many nicer communities near Eastside Cannery that I can think of. Maybe a couple newer gated communities up Boulder Highway a bit towards Sunset....that's about all I can think of.

So I will ask again, why would you think this person hangs out there? what do you know that I don't?

Look, I don't know bojack, if that is who Mrbo is. Axel raises some good points so I can't say I am 100% sure they are the same person/poster.

I "knew" Bojack from a blackjack message board site 7-10 years ago. My first message board site. I never met the guy, just knew him on line and did trade some private messages. I learned some good stuff from him and his posts, but I don't recall him ever going out of his way to help me. As a matter of fact, he often made these back handed comments. Not exactly an attack, but usually not very flattering. Very similar to Mrbo's first few posts at WoV, which made me think it was him (among other reasons).

So, I don't know what is going on with this Mrbo / bojack situation and I am getting tired of it.

One thing I might point out though...Mrbo just voluntarily resigned or quit WoV. I on the other hand have spent 2+ years since my banning trying to open avenues of discussion with Wizards, that would lead to my return.

I appreciate the knighting. It really doesn't matter to me one way or another... I was just writing what popped into my head. I like reading your stuff KJ, so I'm not trying to make an enemy out of you. I hope you didn't take it that way.

No not at all. I rarely have problems with anyone, unless they spend months trying to discredit me, manipulating fact, and what was said, taking blurry pictures ect or are just a flat out insane M-F-er like welfare Rob.

I never noticed senior member before, I am guessing it is when you reach 100 posts. What title is there prior to senior?

Edit: nevermind, I see it. Tasha is a junior member and mcap is just a member. LOL that can be taken multiple ways.

  20. #2600
It's my mission to find something positive about Rob. I'm currently struggling, but I didn't get where I am because I quit easily. I'll update everyone here when I come up with something.
