Thread: The WoV Thread

  1. #361
    They've got a thread on the Aladdin's on WoV. I can tell that no one in the thread has much experience with the game. They are wondering about the frequency of the lamps landing in the screen. I tracked it through 2000 spins, a pretty small sample space but good enough to get an idea. The frequencies I got, based on pure empirical evidence look like this:

    1st reel: 22 spins
    2nd reel: 29
    3rd reel: 26
    4th reel: 12
    5th reel: 10

    The 4th and 5th reels are pretty much irrelevant in calculating what is a play. If there are 2 or 3 built up in each one they will most likely be gone by the time you light up one or more of the first three reels. What you hope to happen is they are built back up again when you start lighting up the first three reels.

    I use only the first three reels in determining what is or isn't an advantage play. If I find 3 lit up in either the 1st or the 2nd column it's a go. I won't play a bare 3 in the 3rd column. But if the first two columns have one each or at least one of them have a 2 it's a go. Three 2's is a go. And I'll play any combination of 2-2-1.

    I have a lot of losing plays but make about 15% on the action overall. A lot of the payback is in the free games which you won't get every play. The question on WoV is when you get the free games should you choose:

    2 free games with the 1st, 3rd and 5th columns wild;
    6 free games with the 2nd and 4th columns wild;
    15 free games with the 3 column wild.

    Choosing the 6 free games gets the best return.

    Ok so im officially old and not hip to the Strip. Last time I was up here for the PBR two years ago. So I thought I better get over here and see a hockey game before the end of the season. Whoever bet on the Golden Knights to be this good in year one sure is sharp. So the old parking trick to park near the Tropicana and walk through the MGM over to the rink is how I chose to do it. The lion exhibit is now a bar/restaurant. The wicked witch no longer chases Toto and Dorthy. The good news was they have a bank of 3 Aladdins that nobody is guarding. On my way to talk down the scalpers. Not exactly scalpers since they sell below ticket price. This might not be worth the time but it's a hockey night in Vegas!

    I haven't really studied the reel frequencies.

    I assign a point value to each lamp. Reels 1-3 each lamp is worth 2 points. Reel 4 each lamp is 1 point. 5th reel 1/2 point.

    15 or greater points it's a go with the exception of greater than 12 1/2 points if 2 of the first 3 reels contain at least 3 lit lamps. So you are hitting it sooner it seems.

    Can you get a pic of the stairs? I heard they were really steep. I haven't been inside the arena yet. I have been meaning to go to a game. I'm just not much of an event person anymore. Not sure why.

    The first three should be equal value, I think. If you get column 1, 2, or 3 is all wild, then you still need two of the same symbol for a 3-kind pay. I see other people undervalue column 3 for whatever reason too.

    I saw a creator working one time, thought about trying to swoop in and snap up his leavings before his partner could get there, but chickened out cause I didn't want to potentially get involved in an "incident"

    Anyone know what would be likely to happen if someone not associated with the creator jumped on the machine and played off the multipliers before the creator's partner got there?

    The 'Oklahoma Indian Casinos" thread over at WoV is pretty funny. The AP's of Oklahoma hope everyone takes Fleastiff's advice and stay out of Oklahoma casinos. They don't want any more competition than they already have. It'll be interesting to see if Puckerbutt makes a comment in the thread. He lives in OKC.

    The class II's are easy to recognize. Most have the bingo cards on them. Which means the class III's are easy to recognize. Next time through I'll make a closer inspection for identifying features. I've gotten some looks at the payback screens on some of the video line games. Most are about 90% but some are as high as 93% and 94%.

    One trick to use, if the speed stop is not activated, is to request that it be activated. The slot tech will have to roll through the screens to activate it and you get a look at the payback screen.

    Libtard whores in the Trump thread having great time smearing Hope Hicks. It's to be expected from WoV's resident troll, aids288, but libtard Babs, blinded by her ideology, is chiming in to. She has lost all credibility for moderating the thread.

    I do not have an account at WOV (and never did). Could someone who has a WOV account post my answer (or a link to this post: https://vegascasinotalk.com/forum/sh...ed=1#post60952) to some of the questions in the WOV post below:
    https://wizardofvegas.com/forum/gamb.../7/#post629449

    Basically, there are 52 choose 4 ways of combining a joker with the other 52 non-joker cards in the 53-card deck (52 choose 4 ways of selecting the other 4 non-joker cards to join the joker on the deal). There are 53 choose 5 ways of selecting 5 cards. So you have a 9.4% chance of getting a joker on the draw. The poster in the thread wonders what the chance of observing 27 jokers in 900 hands (deal-draws) is (this is what he or she observed while playing American Gold Poker) if each card has an equal probability of being selected into the draw. There is only a 2.01377E-12% chance (0.0000000000020137731 %) of observing this given a 9.4% chance of observing the joker on the draw for an individual deal-draw. There is a 4.5% chance of observing 85 jokers (the screenshot in this post reads 96 jokers but it should read 85 jokers) in 900 deal-draws (9.4% of 900). In my opinion this means that American Gold Poker is gaffed (jokers have a much smaller chance than 9.4% of getting drawn - the chance is more like 27 out of 900 or perhaps it is dynamic and changes as a function of prior payout). As Axel points out in the WOV thread linked above, this does not necessarily mean you shouldn't play the game because of bonus incentives. But the actual RTP of the game would need to be closely estimated and the deposit bonus (and playthrough requirement) would have to then be factored in to determine if the true RTP >= 100%. Furthermore, the game can be vultured if it adheres to German law (the game can be found at German slot bars as well as online) since the game will have to give a certain minimum RTP if a certain amount of losing is done prior to this.

    AMS is a 1 issue guy with low self esteem about his lifestyle. Spends his life worried about how others feel about his life choices, except of course the times he is taking it in the ass. He is an embarrassment to gay people everywhere.

    Now the libtards in the Trump thread are going off on Trump's imposition of tariff's. The silly idiots think our 2.5% tariff on EU cars and the EU's 10% tariff on American cars is a fair and and good free market deal. Trump is also going to lower the boom on Mexico. We used to run a 4 billion dollar surplus with them. Since NAFTA they've enjoyed a 1 trillion dollar surplus with us. Trump is right, the idiots that negotiated these deals for us are stoooooooooopid. This is what stoooooooooopid means.

    stupid X 29 = stoooooooooopid

    V, Trump is not in Putin's pocket. Hillary was in Putin's pocket with the Uranium One deal. What do you think Trump's greenlight on Keystone, Dakota Access and ANWR will do to Russia's position in the world oil market? I'll answer it for you. Russia goes downhill in the world oil market. It's amazing to me the cockamamie bullshit that liberals blame Trump for.

    I'm not particularly liberal, nor am I conservative.

    I've read that Russia has compromising info on Donnie, and it is increasingly likely that he's had shady business dealings with oligarchs.

    I'm sure Mueller will tell us all in due course.

    I get better info from Rachel Maddow than I would on Fox.

    Oh, so you watch MSLSD. How much have you learned from Maddow on Hillary's collusion with the Russians, vis a vie, the Steele Dossier? Has she explained to you that the Russians that produced the document and Christopher Steele, who delivered the document to HRC and the DNC were foreigners meddling in an American election? Has she explained to you that felony crimes were committed by certain members of the FBI and the Obama Administration in spying on the Trump Campaign during the election? Has she explained to you that certain members of the FBI obtained the FISA warrant on Carter Page under false circumstances in order to spy on the Trump Campaign? Or is Maddow still stuck on the false narrative, started by this dossier of lies meant to do election damage, that Trump colluded with the Russians?
