Then, I realized that letters of the alphabet must have all sorts and degrees of inversions, the same as with the digits. Over the years, people have written digits, in all manners. Ha, it's something we all do. But, who, ever, stops to think about it, really? A while ago, on one of the math forums, someone asked me what my take on the 666/911 stuff was. I replied that although also such numerals pop up in the darnedest places, what really intrigues me is how we come to view and write about such numerals. I mean, what is in us to lead us to even notice such? How do we, too, pop out of nothingness, and, then, with such fine detail of supposedly such nonsense?
My initial observations with the alphabet. It depends on printed, or written, and, the different ways in which this done. However, it seems that there are about nine or ten or twelve letters of interest, the ones that can be inverted with basic symmetry. The 'c', 'e', 'i', 'l', 'o', 't', 'u', 'v', 'w', 'x'. With a bit of luck, the 'w' aligns with the 'd', which goes with the 'b'; and the 't' with the 'g', which goes with the 'p', and 'q'. As well, 'x' goes with the 'c' reversed beside itself, in a rounded 'x'. The 'm', and 'n', too, if we neglect to write the initial hump, as with the tail of 'u'. The 'l' and 'o' align, around the 'm', and 'n'. I would consider these to be 1, and 0, respectively. Of course, 'x' is taken as Christ, in alphabetic spot 24/3; with the 'l', and 'o', in spot 12/15, and 15/12, respectively. 'X' has a weird sort of self-symmetry, not so plain as for the 'l', and 'o'. The 'i' has both a 1, and 0, quality to it. 'J' sort of mirrors the 'i', the 'i' as written with its own right-handed curl, at the bottom. Goddamn fascinating. Why do we write such letters, and, in this way?
Something else. If "Covaleski" played from about 1912 to 1928, then the 1919 "flu" spanned about the same period, around '20, the same as this one, with games missed because of it.
