I enjoyed camping out and hiking as a young man but then came the whammy.

I'd recently met my current wife, it was 1988: some fucking drunk crossed the centerline and hit her Accord head on, seriously injuring her.

Among other injuries both of her heels were broken: shattered, actually.

For a couple months I carried her up and down stairs.

Bottom line: she healed up but cannot tolerate hikes or uneven walking surfaces.

I love her: in for a penny, in for a pound.

My son is an overlander, so I learn from him and enjoy it "vicariously."

I would assume you need some type of a warrant for that. Was he ever actually charged with anything? I'm wondering if he even still has the same phone or if he got rid of them?

Assuming Postle surivives the motion to dismiss set for April 20, Dan's attorney can pursue a discovery request seeking to inspect the phone and forensically examine its contents.

A warrant is not available in civil litigation; if Postle balks Dan would go to court to get a court order compelling Postle to produce the phone and to cooperate, with contempt sanctions levied for any failure to comply with said order.

In the "Four cards to a flush draw" thread, the OP is opining about hitting 1 flush in 29 draws. I just out did that on 10 play bonus poker. Started a session and got a flush draw(FD) on the 4th deal bricking all 10 of them. The next draw, I hit 1 of the 10 then on the next 2 times I got a FD, I bricked all 20!! That's 1 out of 40 folks. Shit happens!

And in these times of great trolling, it is a regular forum member using sock puppets to attack someone so the sockpuppet gets banned and not the regular forum member. to answer your question: At WoV, I created 2 or 3 sockpuppers shortly after I was banned. They had names like kewlj2 and kewlj3 or KJ2 & Kj3 (can't remember) Wasn't trying to deceive or mislead, just wanted to set the record straight.

At Norm's blackjack forum, I did create spiderman because I had information about a casino cheating that I strongly wanted to share and warn other players. I used if for a week or so in discussion about that topic. And although that "discussion" was brought to WoV, I didn't participate.

Again, my 2 purposes, to correct the record and to warn the community of a casino cheating incident are a far cry from these guys that create sockpuppets for credibility because there is no one left that believes them. That is pure deception with the sole intent to mislead.

Let me give you a further example: there was a discussion here about how I bought my first condo back in 2009. Bought in on an online auction, significantly below market at the time of the big crash. I immediately applied for a mortgage. I didn't really know how that worked. I was prepared to put down significantly more than most people do, because of my income situation. (I was prepared to pay cash if absolutely had too, but that would have left my bankroll pretty depleted).

So I applied for a mortgage with a company that handles a lot of condo transactions, and after a couple days of sending paperwork back and forth was approved for 50% of purchase price, meaning I would put down 50%. That was a little better for me at the time.

So when I told that story, I think to Alan who was discussing it, Singer jumps in saying no one can get a mortgage as a professional gambler. ( I have since gotten a second when I bought my house, so one of many things Singer was clueless about). So next thing you know, and I mean within hours a "new" member girlfriday or fridaygirl (can't remember which) shows up and girlfriday just happens to be a relator and she emphatically states that Singer is correct. He created an 'expert witness' where there was none for credibility on an issue he was 100% dead wrong about. THAT is the kind of sockpuppetry I am concerned about. And we won't even get into Jerry Logan and his many other socks used for support and credibility.

What are you talking about? I have cox for my internet. If you are trying to say that companies like Cox use some technology to hide people's IP addresses, from the site they visit, that is news to me, but I really don't know much about that stuff.

I am talking about signing up with an outside VPN, often in another country, to make it look like your IP address is different and from another location. I am not exactly sure how that even works because I have never looked into it, let alone used one. So if THAT is your accusation, you are barking up the wrong tree.

I suppose I may at times have a different IP address when I am out and about posting from my phone, often using public wifi, sometimes from casinos, but even that is going to show me here in Vegas.
