I think so, but I'm not 100% on this actually. The techniques you describe are solid - mine are hypotheticals/thinking out loud.
Now on to teeth. It's been hit or miss with root canals. I had a couple that have lasted over a couple decades. Then there was one that cracked after just 5 years in and I had to get that tooth extracted. So I will get an implant for that one (I'm guestimating that I will take a $3000 hit for that) at some point. I opted for an extraction on another tooth rather than a root canal due to the short-lived root canal I mentioned above leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
So I will get an implant for that one too eventually (I could also have one of those permanent bridges put in for that missing tooth, but if the tooth the bridge is attached to becomes unstable I would just end up with a gap there anyhow).
Eventually they'll just be able to inject stem cells into a gap and a new tooth will grow there (not in our lifetimes probably), just like when our baby teeth fell out and our permanent teeth grew in (some of which I destroyed with Coca-Cola as I just mentioned).

    Cheers, TP.

Then click on the link to his list of posts, and seek out the last one. Then scroll down that thread to where I suspended him and my reason for doing so..
And this is how people are suppose to view threads at WoV? Search out by poster? News flash if the thread is not in that top 10 on main board, no one is reading. No one is finding it. You got me (and others from the response) on the technicality that you "hid" the thread. And "hid" is your word. I see no difference between hiding and removing.

The fictitious, fairytales of Mdawg have been moved to the betting system voodoo section at WoV, proving that it is all make believe.

Well KewlJ you can rejoice and get a hard-on. At 8: 14 AM EST the adventures of MDawg were not in the top ten recent posts at WOV. Meaning whoever wants to go there they must go to the SYSTEMS PAGE where I'm sure that will embarrass them to no end and immediately think of you.

The fictitious, fairytales of Mdawg have been moved to the betting system voodoo section at WoV, proving that it is all make believe.

Actually your above line that you use at the end of each post could be substituted with possibly this one below from RULES #10 at WOV

"Betting systems: Methods of varying bet size, based on previous wins and losses, not only can't overcome the house edge, they can't even dent it. However, if you're one of the many mathematically ignorant gamblers who think adding up negative numbers can result in a positive one, please keep your comments restricted to the betting systems sty."

On a side note please do not mention my name on another site that I do not belong to especially in implying that I agree with another individual of most always rooting for the underdog. And that is not the full complete story and you know it.

I have had a change of heart regarding MDawg. Putting a twist on the children's story titled "The Pied Piper of Hamelin". Now titled: "The MEAN, MEAN no respect hero MDawg".

He should be paid dues by all of the Advantage Players for providing a very necessary service. Getting rid of the majority of all the rejects "dreamers" and provides the casinos to thrive, leaving room for others to prosper. We should be building him up for cleaning out all the garbage, and that's what they are if they believe him. MDawg may not have a pointed hat and a flute, like the pied piper but he knows how to get rid of rats, with Rolex's and ketchup bottles.

You will be happy to note that MDawg's session winning streak, as reported by him this morning, came to an end. He reports that he dropped 48K at one locale and rallied with a +38K at another, but wound up -10K overall for the day, if I read that correctly (I skimmed it).

So, we can all breathe a sigh of relief. If Mdawg has a losing session with any "challengers," it's not a shock because he does lose every once in awhile. Followed by an inevitable rally, but sometimes just not enough. And the rally comes somewhat later in the day, maybe at a different locale.

Anyway, can you imagine the gut-churning decision-making and debate that had to be made regarding reporting such an aberrant event? Truly a sign of MDawg integrity.

I remember losing, too. I believe it was the fall of '97. Deep Blue had beaten a human chess player, Garry Kasparov. Between both Kasparov and myself losing, there was much weeping and gnashing of teeth. A little known fact, people just could not take both me and Kasparov losing. It's what actually caused the Heaven's Gate suicides. The Heaven's Gaters had psychic visions and knew in advance I would lose. They read it in the cards. People did not want to live in a world where both Kasparov and Dietz lost in the same year.

I dread what might happen in the world at large when folks discover MDawg had a losing day. We should prepare for the worst.

    Good Times.
Park and Pool was the spot in the Summer for us rugrats.

That's pretty much my story growing up and you couldn't tell the difference between the town in that video and my small town in Ohio unless you'd been to both a few times.

We always rented a house, but were poor enough that you didn't know if you'd have telephone service or not when you got home from school that day. Old man is a bit of a frivolous spender when he has money; I'm only that way when it comes to eating out---but if I had $1,000,000 cash in hand right now, damned if I could think of a single thing I'd buy for myself. I have some changes of clothes, a laptop, a phone, food, personal hygiene items...two pair of shoes, which is one more pair than I actually require...what the hell would I buy for myself?

I guess I'm the opposite of DarkOz in that way, or maybe he didn't grow up poor...I can't remember if he said he grew up poor. I wonder if KewlJ is a spender at all? It would honestly be better for there to be something that I wanted, then I would be more motivated.

And that is going to be even more so at the level Mdawg is claiming. Just think about it, why would they? Like I said, maybe if the player is a bigger losing player at something else, (like baccarat).

I think I have heard of 1 or 2 instances where a player talked pit out of it, right as it was happening. Convince them you are parleying or something rather than raising with count. And you know what that buys the player, about another 10 minutes.

Again, it comes back to these people have to answer for it. They reverse a 86ing of a known card counter /AP and 10 minutes later, 30 minutes later, a week later, when the player is 86ed again, the person that undid the original banning has to answer for why.
I want to be very clear that your post said, "Never," so all I was saying was, "Not never." Perhaps 99.99% of the time, I don't know how unlikely it is...probably pretty unlikely, but has happened a non-zero number of times and to me personally.

Anyway, I've never been 86'ed for anything having to do with any Table Games, but the statement on WoV did not specify Table Games.

The guy who unbanned me would only have himself to answer to as he is the Marketing Director for the casino. I don't imagine anyone above him would even become aware of it.

I grew up in the area that I think Mission lives near currently.
He seems to know the area well when I talk about it.
Probably lives in Greensburg or Irwin.
He obviously made a joke about meeting up with me because ever since I met ZenKing, AxelWolf and BBB in person I have done nothing but trash them.
    And rightfully so.
All 3 of them completely front a different online persona compared to their real life counterparts.
In short ZenKing is a skinny nerd in person.
Axel Wolf about 140lbs soaking wet and a complete drunk, although MaxPen claims he kicked that habit.
BBB... 250/300 pounds... I dunno but always fishing around for a sponsor/backer.
I'm pretty sure you are the same and a completely different person compared to all of your online personalities and you have more than I can count.

I never thought he would actually meet up with me in the woods or on a camping trip because we all know I carry around a lot of guns.
Also I have been on this camping/hunting/fishing kick as of late not to mention a desire to see PA again.
I would never stay in a cabin.
I know too many places in PA that you can camp out by the waterfront.
Unless the laws have changed in the last 25 years and that could be the case.
I might go back to PA and be shocked at how it has changed and what you can and can't do anymore.

I would also have to bring my Uncle with me at the very least if not also my wife and dogs.
This is because we are talking about a 2000 mile journey or more.
I would basically have to make this a cross country trip where I stopped at many places along the way and put Western PA on the list of destinations.

The truth is if I was going to go back to PA and meet up with Mission it would be long into the future and take some serious planning/dedication.
Not sure it is actually feasible although I would follow through if we made plans.
I tried to treat all these Fuckers at WoV to dinner once at the 4 Queens but they all got scared when we were publicly stating when and where we were going to meet up.
I think I had about 10 or 12 people that were interested and I had over 7500 comp at the time.
I was going to pay for the whole thing but I did get PMs stating that it wasn't expected but that's how I am.
It fell through because they are so paranoid.

Go back to the Fat Jokes as they make more sense.
Or use other derogatory remarks that line up with my faults.
With only the exception of University, I've lived within 100 miles of where I stand right now basically my whole life. It makes sense that I should know the area!

Presently, I live a bit Northwest of what you said in a borough that is closer to the city proper. I'll tell you which one, if you're super curious, but only in a PM.

I made a joke about meeting up, but I'm definitely down for hanging out and doing some fishing and camping. I guess what I'm saying is if you're serious and you make it out this way, then I'm serious. Not about what KewlJ is implying, though. Just about catching some fish and frying them...I also have a great spice blend that I put together for potato wedges (or, where I grew up, they'd be called Jo Jos), so there's our side since we'll be doing some frying anyway. Mix up a little bit of spicy horseradish sauce and off we go!

The fish batter is a simple enough affair, three egg whites, two egg yolks, blend, half bottle of Guinness and the juice of about half of a lemon. Flour, crushed red pepper, sea salt, crushed dried basil, black pepper, cayenne pepper and parsley. Dip the fish in the wet stuff for a full three seconds and have the dry stuff in a Ziploc bag and shake that son of a bitch up.

You do the gutting and I'll do the grilling, well, frying.

I'm not particularly concerned about your guns as long as you promise not to kneecap me. If you shot me in the head and I died, it's not like I'd know the difference, so what's the worst that can happen? I hope you at least still drink, then you can get a case of beer and we can string the cans up from a tree branch and have some target practice. I was pretty good, once, but I'm probably WAY out of practice. Maybe we'll put a cap in an opossum, creepy bastards, it's always open season for vermin. Just don't shoot a coon in front of me, or I'll kick your ass. I like raccoons.

Uncle, wife, dogs, hamsters...I don't give a shit. I didn't figure we'd be sharing a tent anyway, so you'll know where my cabin is. I'm an early riser, so you won't have to come looking for me.

If we're incredibly fortunate, then perhaps we'll even happen upon some frogs to spear if we're walking around near the water. Have you ever had frog legs that were extremely fresh? To. Die. For. It's like the most tender chicken you can imagine. Deep frying works in a pinch, but I prefer them sautéed in a lemon, butter, garlic powder, cayenne, onion powder mixture with a few fresh gloves of garlic in with it all.

I grew up poor for the record inner city poor.

Both my parents were handicapped which put my childhood on public assistance.

For those people who believe people on public assistance love their lifestyle I remember a few things from my childhood.

Six months of nothing but rice and ketchup as changes in income took forever to catch up and my mom had five dollars a month for food. Which in 1976 brought a several pounds bag of rice and two bottles of ketchup as seasoning.

Welfare before computers. You got to the welfare office at nine am you already were locked out. Many nights being woken at 2am (devastating for a five year old) to go stand outside the office doors at 3 am in the frigid winter until they opened at 8am.

Two separate evictions and bouts of family homelessness although we were put up in "welfare hotels" as my family had me a young child.

One had no heat in winter. Both had no television and we're little more than closets with beds for sleeping.

One had a shared bathroom with drug addicts down the hall. First day I go to the bathroom (I am twelve) and the guy before leaves blood ALL OVER EVERYTHING! A nail attached to a syringe on the floor. So desperate to get high he used what he could to inject himself.

No running water for six months. Trips with a bucket to the fire hydrant on the corner so we had drinking water and bird baths.

    Those memories are quite vivid.

And yet for all the bad memories I had two loving doting parents. As I said they were both handicapped and wanted a child so badly. They had multiple miscarriages before successfully having me and three years of trying. So I was spoiled to the point they could give.

I remember a fire on the sixth floor of an apartment we lived and without hesitation both mom and dad throwing onto the fire escape and wishing me well, ordering me to go down. Neither of them were capable of going through the window due to their conditions. I didn't want to leave (I was twelve) but they gave me this quick speech that would have probably garnered an academy award if it wasn't real life why I had to go on.

Anyway got my first job while Freshman in College and didn't look back. Even when homeless I didn't receive public assistance (although I did get Medicaid during my homeless years.).

Sorry Redietz. Just made a comment in the Mdawg thread about his losing day. I didn't think to look here first, as as to continue an already started discussion. Oh well Mdawg losing is such a huge event, I guess it can be mentioned in two places. It is amazing though, first mention of a losing session in many trip and magically, a loss rebate that has never been mentioned will kick in. And oddly, the loss rebate will cover a session loss rather than the standard (ever since Don Johnson) trip loss. Even losing....this guy still has it all going on.

I too lost yesterday ending a winning streak, a modest 4 day winning streak. I normally don't take much notice of such things, but in the spirit of Mdawg, I was hoping to win everyday. I was hoping just reading the fairytale that some of that Vegas magical hocus-pocus was rubbing off, but NOT to be I am off to a good start to my belated year though. No big winning days and no big losing days. Just more smaller low and a couple mid 4 figure days. I will take it though. It all adds up and I always like a positive start.
Dan Druff: "there's no question that MDawg has been an obnoxious braggart, and has rubbed a ton of people the wrong way. There's something missing from his stories. Either they're fabricated, grossly exaggerated, or largely incomplete".

Yeah, we were in the, "Gap," or whatever you want to call it. Basically, the people who didn't qualify for much in the way of assistance, but because they didn't, legitimately had less than some of the folks who did qualify. That's not a knock on anyone in particular, it's just how the math works, sometimes. The old man fought with disability for three years before he finally realized that it wasn't happening for him. He's had ten surgeries between both of his knees, or something, but finally managed to find himself a sit down job. I guess that's where my laziness comes from. I've never tried disability and have no interest in any type of assistance (even if I did qualify, which I don't) but the shitapple doesn't fall far from the shit tree when it comes to being lazy, that's for sure.

See, you lived in the city, though, so that wasn't great for your cause. I think that's why the opinions on public assistance can vary so wildly when it comes to people who live in rural v. urban areas...in an urban area, you starve, in some rural or semi-urban areas (particularly those with public housing) you live probably as well as I did when I worked seventy hours a week compared to their zero hours per week.

We were never evicted...though the old man left my mom shortly after he got his shit together job wise. Anyway, she'd been promoted a few times by then, so nothing was getting shut off anymore. We ended up switching towns and moving into the top level of a duplex, but that was mainly because she wanted to be closer to work. She also had to work some Saturdays and it became evident the old man wasn't always going to appear on weekends like he was supposed to, so she wanted to be more close to her work in case something happened with my sister, or something. I was at the age where I'd be gone from 7:00a.m. to somewhere between 9:00-11:00p.m. anyway doing whatever I felt like doing. My mom's standards were basically that I'd never have a curfew (as soon as I turned thirteen) provided I carried an A average, so I could pretty much do whatever the hell I wanted.

Anyway, I'm sorry that you had it so rough. Looking back, my childhood was pretty fucking awesome, all told. The only thing that might not have set me up too well for adulthood is that I'm used to working when I feel like it and otherwise doing whatever the hell I want whenever the hell I want to do it unchallenged. I think that's why I've been in some management capacity in most of my traditional jobs, exception only to the Distribution Center where you basically work by yourself anyway. The conversation probably went something like, "Well, this guy knows his shit...but his attitude towards authority...we're going to have to either put him in charge of something or fire him!"

Guess what 18 y.o.'s in a row is technically possible. But it didn't happen. Let's just start dealing with reality here ok. 18.y.o's in a row didn't happen, Mdawg isn't winning like he claims. Players don't get unbanned at multiple locations after getting banned for counting cards. These are realities. Can we please stay in the real world.
Dan Druff: "there's no question that MDawg has been an obnoxious braggart, and has rubbed a ton of people the wrong way. There's something missing from his stories. Either they're fabricated, grossly exaggerated, or largely incomplete".

I mean, I was staying in the real world. I can prove it to you if you want, but it would have to stay private. Only a Sith speaks in absolutes. Of course, that would make Obi-Wan a Sith because that statement is an absolute.

You don't have to prove anything. I am not doubting you. I am saying what you described is very, very rare. No offense (<-lol), but it sounds like a local type place, dealing with a local player, small stakes, you may or may not have been friendly with management and they said "what the hell, he isn't costing us anything". That is very, very different from how Las Vegas casinos handle things and especially higher end players. They bar these players for a reason, because it has been determined they are a threat and the player doesn't talk them out of it.

Very, very different. Night and day. But you saying it can happen provides credibility for Mdawg and his minions. In this case when someone that knows how things work, says that is not the way it works, about this particular part of Mdawgs "fable", coach belly has already come back twice with, "mission says it happens".

I think that what you have said is precisely correct. I only took umbrage with the word, "Never," used without qualification. I tend to be very precise when I make claims, but I understand that other people aren't the same way. You wouldn't believe some of the minute points that I've been called out on---though I always try to speak with precision as it is.

Given that you know where I live, of course it was a local place dealing with a local player. I'm definitely a small stakes guy. They almost certainly looked at it and said, "He's not actually hurting us." I mean, they got hurt on the play that led to my 86'ing...that's for damn sure! But, just my individual play, right.

It probably helped that the casino is under different ownership now, of course, that didn't help when I was in Magistrate Court getting found guilty on defiant trespass charges. That judge was an asshole, though. He wouldn't even let me cite the code, kept telling me to shut up, so I couldn't even present a defense. How can the owners have possibly banned me when they don't own the place anymore and I am specifically welcome at all properties with the new ownership?

Anyway, if I see something said that is factually wrong, then my natural tendency is to correct it regardless of the context. I wasn't specifically taking a side on that one.

Just part of the fallacy. He shows a loss so that when the challenge happens it just furthers his narrative. What is off is that. NO ONE I REPEAT NO ONE is getting a rebate day over day in Vegas anymore. ESPECIALLY NOT someone with 50k lines. Not only are they not going to rebate someone who has been there 28 days winning every day but one but rebates are based on the trip at best. On top of dawg saying he will be near even after his rebate on 48k loss With an overall daily loss of 10k. So he claiming at 20 percent rebate. Or even 15. PURE BULLSHIT I hahe screen shots from a very well known celebrity gambler who gets 17 percent Trop over trip but not until he loses 1 mil. Anything under is 10 percent an not triggered until a 400 loss. And this person has lost millions. Rebates are negotiated. So mdawg negotiates rebate but never promo chips. Guess thats next level

That's quite a story. Well anyway, nowadays DarkOz has the same sort of "problems" that I have, for him, deciding whether to buy vintage film copies of classic movies, for me replacing lost 18K gold screws in a watch clasp.

I can't plead guilty to growing up anything but privileged, but I sometimes think about the lines Cary Grant delivered in Mr. Lucky, mostly the part about how those who grow up with all the advantages have a duty for doing the right thing, or else should be horse whipped.

You think the worst thing that
could happens to you is to marry me?

    To people like you folks
like me are animals, we're so bad.

    And you're so very good.
What do you expect, credit for it?

    How could you be anything
else with what you started out with.

    You ought to be horse
whipped if you didn't turn out right.

And what are you so high and
mighty about? What did you ever do?

He's the guy that made all your dough
for you and he was born in a log cabin.

You know where I grew up?
In a one room shack with a dirt floor.

You talk about this side of your family
and that side of your family, as...

far as I know we only had
one side and it was awful poor.

Lots of times there wasn't what for to eat.

    That's why I ran away when I was 9,
I got tired of being hungry and...

seeing my old lady go hungry until she died.
I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.
