So Michael Shackleford goes on his site and bans some members which is his right on a public forum... not private but whatever. He decides without any proof that a former member has come into WoV posting a ton of questions about people like DarkOz and AxelWolf and RS and BBB and many others. No outright insulting remarks. Just simple questions like why would Dark Oz allow his very own daughter get mixed up into something he wasn't willing to get mixed up in. The question this member raised was why the F isn't AxelWolf who does nothing but post and talk about recruiting not responding to any incident?

It wouldn't be hard to go on and on but I would advise all members who read up on here to be very careful when getting involved with anyone over at WoV from the top Wizard all the way down to the banned members. I think any adult who hasn't seen the scams of WoV in the past certainly can start to see them now. I had one report of a member who met the Wizard one afternoon and that very night he went out to play Black Jack and count cards only to get backed off and told his action wasn't welcome... coincidence??

Maxpen has already stated that WoV has lost plenty of street cred with the problems of a former Admin in cahoots with members and a known con artist. Does anyone really think the Wizard isn't involved in some way or another???

Shackleford and his workers have always been proponents of punishing for being "on the wrong side of issues". There are written rules about foul language and name calling. But there is an unwritten rule about being on the wrong side of issues.
I was banned with no reason given but I do know that I was on the wrong side of issues. KJ was banned for a non existing rule violation as he was on the wrong side of QFIT. SAP was banned for a rule that was pulled out of someones ass."ALLEGEDLY WELSHING"
And shackleford employs people (who work for free while he travels the world on the money he made off their hard work) wo mimic this behavior or who will stand aside and let this behavior be inflicted on the members.
Thats the type of person who will replace mission. Someone who agrees that shacklefords managerial philosophy. Someone who gets joy in punishing (after all shackleford has stated that he suspends when he is in a bad mood), gets joy in seeing other people punish and get punished, and minimally someone who will step aside while it all goes on. Someone who does not listen to member constructive criticisms, but rather has the "dont let the door hit you" managerial philosophy.

So no surprise that someone who merely annoys a person with authority, or is making a cogent point on the wrong side of an argument.....will be dealt with punitively

and as far as Mission using penis imagery .....he is known for THAT. Freddy at GF had a back and forth with mission who supposedly provided a link on wov of one of missions "writings" that detailed him having his penis out of his pants in a public place....at least a place where someone passing by could see. And what was he doing with that exposed flesh....well....ask him...its dinner time and I dont want to visualize it. Over here he cant suspend you and then call you the "weakest link".....that would be amusing to him. But he can hurl penis imagery around like a teen. That is also amusing to him.

Maybe he is mad the the guy that got 2 mil off of his hard work with out pay didnt send him a postcard from Zurich...or get him something from the airport giftshop as an afterthought.

Yes the Mission Gutter imagery is strange. People wearing masks in public meetings is strange. Your starting to see how strange the AP world is. People riding unicycles and Rubik's cubes. These guys used to come to town to poker every year... it's called B.A.R.G.E. All sorts of strange math guys playing strange poker games. I still seem them playing 25cent full pay video poker talking about how great at math they are and grumbling about losing 100 dollars.

I didn’t know we had so many little church ladies here in the AP and general gambling forum community. How do you guys find time to go to casinos with the Friday Fish Fry, Saturday Knitting Circle and not one, but TWO, full church services on Sunday?

I was also making a general point, in case you guys were curious. Whether it’s comparing casino, “War stories,” comparing mail, playing linguistic one-upsmanship on various Internet Forums or anything else...it’s a dick showing contest. That’s the point. Interesting side issue Mission. Since you have made the analogy that this forum is a church and LarryS is the deacon can you show us what the other members position to the congregation are... start with me and list the other posters? It shouldn't take long... not many church members post here these days.

After that can you give us an analogy of what the WoV site is and analogies of some of its members? For scientific purposes and all and some entertainment value. Can you explain why AxelWolf hasn't answered any direct questions. A few posts ago he claimed he would always defend his real life friends when challenged online or in real life!?

First of all, thanks for sticking up for me a page or two ago.

What are you in the church? Does a church even have that many positions? You got me. I suppose you’re just a congregant. I really didn’t come prepared to take the metaphor much further. The church was never even really a metaphor. I was just being a sarcastic sinner.

Why am I always being asked to account for other people? Can’t we all agree that I do a dirty, stinky, poo-poo enough job accounting for myself? I don’t think Axel, or anyone else, would be well-served having me as an advocate.

About the church analogy and this site and members I'd appreciate anyone who would enjoy breaking it down. I am sad to see I'm only a member of the congregation but that's not clear enough. Am I a charter member or just a walk in that hasn't signed any paperwork.

Also I would enjoy someone making the analogy of the WoV site compared to this one and its members and known con men associated with that site. In my mind WoV is similar to the Church of Scientology.

About the use of profanity. I'm ok with it. You want to cuss go ahead and cuss. I just don't understand all the vivid imagery of sucking this and that and hammering it over and over. I get it to make a specific point but to talk about it so much and vivid takes away from the serious points or questions or topics being discussed.

Even though some might view my posts as measuring myself to others or bragging I want to apologize if it comes across like that. I am trying to talk about serious ways to go about gambling in Vegas and how I personally have done it or go about doing it. You will find the information I share is common every day Man information and many professionals use or have used the information that I have shared for decades. If someone can refute the information or show where I'm trying to put myself above others I'm willing to listen and respond unlike the Wizard of Odds, who doesn't answer direct specific questions publicly.

Also, about professional Gamblers or APs... if you are serious and honest about it you will find that many of them are broke or close to it not owning very much in life. You can argue and show the exceptions but for the most part they are busted going through a major roller coaster ride constantly.

Unfortunately for you, Monet, you may only occupy a high station in the Church by first being a hypocrite.

And, again, I was referring simply to being chastised for language/imagery, not really meaning to compare the sites to a church. I wouldn’t even disparage a Forum filled entirely with people I don’t like that way, and I like some of you guys.

How can there not be?

We just haven't arrived there yet.

Can't have perfect knowledge in an imperfect universe. In other words, there is always someone smarter (with a better solution). Eg, if you think that the universe expands and collapses ad infinitum, but in a slightly different way each time, then it makes sense to think also that the people in different cycles would have different times to figure things out. Not to say that humans as a species would then be the species to figure it all out were that possible. We don't know even what we are evolving into.

What if the all-solution involves knowledge of the positions of every particle/wave in the universe? What if the Riemann Hypothesis truly is a mathematical problem that can't be solved even if it is true, as it surely seems to be?

In one of his books, Hawking wrote that there is someone out there in the world now who will "end physics". That was some time ago, and he's dead.

WoV Spring Fling 2018 will be private and invitation only because of paranoia and fear.

I find it amazing that someone would actually try to crash that dinner or meet up. Are these people really that popular or famous that they actually have stalkers. I think it's one thing to read the forums threads and talk about them but to actually crash or stalk a dinner? I'm trying to think if someone who they don't want or know shows up... well that person won't be welcome to sit down anyway. I personally do not like big get together or parties anyway... I couldn't even get 7 people to agree and I gave up pretty fast on the idea.

I only mention this whole thing because they are making big posts about it and make it sound like it's something so great or special. I have to agree with KewlJ... real APs wouldn't want to meet up with these casino employees anyway unless the employees are involved in helping players to cheat and make easy money.

Who do they have to fear? WoN... would WoN really show his face to that group?? How about me (Monet)... not a chance. These guys go to places like 777 at Main Street. Hardly something I would call fun. They also all meet up to go play live poker giving the Casino and Deslers all the rake trying to best one another out of cash while people drink uncontrollably. I think it's ok to drink but you should see how some of those members Drink... that's not drinking... that's alcoholism.

I just want to understand the mentality. It is ok to be an alcoholic. It is good to go to strip clubs and hang with strippers. It is good to play with better valued prostitutes from backpage. It is good to make deals for free play with con men. However if you cheat Casinos your a POS or evil person. I don't understand the logic.

Monet, I have been to two of these and neither one involved excessive consumption of alcohol by anyone that I noticed.

All attendees were well behaved: if any had an alcohol problem it was not evident by their behavior.

While I don't know quite why the wiz is requiring this level of secrecy I must assume it is threat-based, and nobody needs to be worrying about some crazy fucker attacking them from behind while attending a social gathering such as this.

Were an uninvited person to "crash" the meet up I've no doubt the mgt. would be asked to exclude the intruder immediately; the problem would arise if he's so worked up and frenzied that he won't take no for an answer or confronts / attacks without warning

Why risk it, when there is an indication that a viable threat exists?

Were he to do nothing then might not liability attach in the event of a horrific incident?
