I didn't want to be argumentative in that thread, but I do want to qualify that I don't love gambling; I don't even like gambling. It's a job like any other.

Certainly you must enjoy some gambling, or at least did at one time. You don't enjoy little craps, keno, VP, Holdem? You don't enjoy finding and playing a screen full of UX or some variable state slot that's a home run?

There are some plays I enjoy and some plays I don't. I dislike grinding plays for low percentages and long hours, even if the hourly is good. I enjoy just about any type of gambling if the situation is juicy enough.

This post could easily go under the WOV Thread or the Alan RIP thread. I find it underwhelming that Alan only has 4 pages for his death on WOV. Alan was a Long time, frequent Poster, Well known Gambler and Journalist, polarizing, controversial figure on WOV and he suddenly died. You'd think he'd have much more than only 4 pages on WOV for his Death Thread. :/

He has roughly the same amount of pages as Oncedear's Resignation Thread. Sudden Death Thread=Same pages as Resignation Thread ? :/

Even with Alan's passing, Singers departure, Marathon Mission 20th temporary leave of absence and Mad Max gone AWOL, we still have a few blue chip prospects left in the farm system. Dom Perignom, DgenBen, Smurgerburger, Theywontpayontuesday and last but not least Ray Finkle. Those 5 All-Stars should help ease the pain, with the 4 VCT veterans gone.

It seems awful to say it even after he's dead. On a side note, I just learned that it was previously stated that Posters lose insult protection after death. That just seems wrong to me. At least Vienna Pizza got suspended. That was one of the most disgusting posts I had ever had the displeasure of reading. :/ On another side note, Vienna Pizza mentioning religion was also grounds for Suspension. The Admins said after August 2019, posts about Politics and Religion were now grounds for Suspension when they used to be tolerated and encouraged. So, Vienna Pizza had two strikes in one post.
