More likely over the fact that people think this way.

Just curious: how could Shackelford test a machine in use at a casino?
    How could Singer?

Singer had his own machines. The question is how would the Wizard test a machine in use at a casino?

There is the possibility that Singer's personal machines were defective, and I didn't ask that and I don't think anyone else has.

  4. #1224
What are the odds that all of Singer's personal machines were identically "defective?"

    Slim and none.

Not as impossible as 18 yo's in a row, though.

You've been here a lot longer than me but in my short time I've figured out Rob is NEVER wrong. I've spent the last couple of days trying to contact the Avengers... I'm sure Earth's mightiest heroes would see more value in Rob's infallibility than we do on this board.

I doubt Rob would take the gig with the Avengers thought... We will need a new Pope in a few years. If I was Rob, I'd hold out for the pope gig.

    ;-)

Seriously though... If you want a real video poker play, a Midwest casino is giving away $15 grocery store gift cards on Thursdays for 1000 points ($2000 coin in). You will also get $2 in free play and $2 in comps.... Total value add of $19. If you play their 9/6 job machine, you are at a half percent advantage... You can probably find a better machine too... Most video poker players can run up the required play in a hour playing $0.50 denomination.

Before everyone jumps all over me about $9 an hour (admittedly weak)... My point is I would put this play against anything I've heard Rob Singer say.

Final thought as it relates to WOV... I bet shackelford would grant a name change to RS because he shares initials with Singer. #unfortuneate.

Note: the following is for Marvel Comic aficionados.

You know, I was wondering if Argentino may have been in the Avengers, but we had failed to notice it. So I checked my Marvel comic collection, but it only goes back to Avengers 16 or so, when the new team (headed by Cap) replaced the old one. I did not see Argentino in there until I looked real closely. If you accept the idea that Argentino may occasionally dress in women's clothes, the Scarlett Witch has the ability to bend the laws of probability for things in her proximity. So that matches Argentino's claims, and when she/he leaves the area, probabilities go back to normal. That sounds awfully familiar.

All of his machines? I'm not sure how many he had. I think I recall he told me about having two. But I really wasn't paying close attention to that because (and get ready for this) Rob said he plays in casinos expecting the machines to be true and random and honest.

So... all this talk about non-random machines is insignificant especially since the guy who made the allegation admits that he has no way of knowing or telling if casino machines have a problem.

He runs his own empirical study of the 5th card flip.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

Studies smuddies, it is obvious these fools do not care about real facts. I can't figure out if it is nice or terrible to go thru life so fucked up as these clowns.

Mickeycrimm, for Shackleford's study of the machine in the casino, is he going to sit there with yellow pad and pencil for 10,000 draws or 100,000 draws?

    LMAO

The sad thing Max, is there are people that believe this ridiculous tripe of 18 yos in a row, 5th card flip almost 50% of the time on 4000+ draws, DI/DC, etc.

There are some very smart people in this world, but when they enter a casino their IQ level goes into negative territory.

I wouldn't be satisfied unless it was a trillion draws.

    Exactly right.

And since Singer keeps playing on casino machines isn't this entire subject of fifth card flipovers a moot point?

Why waste so much time on something even Singer doesn't concern himself with when he plays? LOL

I can recommend Circus 1903 at the Paris theater for anyone interested in this kind of thing.

    I am not Monet.

    I am Groot.

Forget the fact that Monet is a hard driven guy working the Vegas scene for at least 20 years and that I have live on the east coast for 95% of my life, it was a good guess. As a native Brooklynite used to insults I guess I should be upset that I was not accused of being a tax evader, drunk, or gay (not that I would pass judgment).

Hey, in two years of viewing this website there are a lot of items stated that raise suspicion (jeez, you think?). Personally, I stay away from something when it can come back at a "gotcha moment".

I am not an AP. I do not believe I will be ahead in life while gambling on the best VP machines offered. But, I will play the percentages and go to Vegas on the multiplier days when I can catch the cheapest flight (Spirit $185 RT last month). I love to learn. I play the theoretical best games offered.

While the forum has been a bit hectic lately, there has been more positive insight on gambling in the last six months than the previous 18 months combined.

OK, my last comment on the fifth card issue. While nerds are supposed to like Monty Python, I was more of a Three Stooges fan. Regardless, When I think of the Holy Grail movie and the bridge scene when you have to answer three question correctly, I think of the gatekeeper asking, "What is the percentage of the fifth card?". The trembling passenger voice replies, "47 percent, no, 18 percent.". WHOOP.

Yes, as said earlier, there are other things that can be questioned, over the years, but I would not question others when I can argue both sides of an issue with myself. This is the last time on this subject for me. Yeah, you heard this before from others.

Love you guys and safe travels everyone.

Deech and Monet.....2 opposing visuals yet alot of similarity

    similar writing styles
they both like to reference movies using dialogue from thiose movies
Deech more than once mentions he is an engineer.....which is just trying to hard.

Monet is no Mark Twain. He cannot write in the vernacular as Twain could. He retains the words and style of himself

For someone who claims to be a bad guy, a shady guy, a liar, and a tax cheat.......then why couldnt or wouldnt he post as a duplicate on a message board.

Many people have called bull crap on his tax evasion declaration....and cred has fallen to an all time low. So what better time than to introduce us to a new character.

This one isnt a bad guy, lying tax cheat. He is a humble family guy engineer from NYC. You couldnt have made up more divergence between the 2 characters.

And wouldnt you know it as a new poster, Deech inserts himself into this thread...the thread with all the personal back and forth. The thread with all the crap in it. And a newbie is jumping right in.

Its kind of like when a new member on Wov goes right tothe thread"duscussion of the suspension list" you know there is more to it than meets the eye.

I cannot believe Argentino ran away rather than face down LarryS. Geez -- it was like Rousey vs. Nunes.

I don't know whether to hire LarryS to edit my resume or deliver my eulogy. Whichever is cheaper, I guess.

  20. #1240
If you really want something bad enough, when u are dead....you would be willing to spend anything for it I would imagine....since your spending days are over.

So I think the eulogy would be more profitable for me.
