    No, not really.

You COULD have simply nuked/barred/tossed out on their fat asses those who "made criminal statements and threatened violence."

That's what the wiz would have done.

Why didn't you do that too?
    What, Me Worry?

If there were $1 given to the homeless everytime someone....anyone....claimed they went into a free play promotion and/or just went into a casino to play off their free play once thru, the homeless problem would be solved, they'd all be driving Cadillac V's, and there would never be free play issued to anyone ever again.

But of course we have forums loaded with anonymous posters who keep the anomaly running rampant throughout the internet. That's simply the way it is.

The "wiz" also begged people for money. So they aren't at all alike, and what one has done has nothing to do with what the other should be doing. In fact, the only thing I see them having in common is they both interviewed ME.

I did it so many times, including to Rob, but I couldn't keep up with the sock puppets. It wasn't worth it anymore.

    Your words are hurtful.
That is hard to believe from someone who wants to come off the indifferent one regarding his own likely imminent and painful death. With suicide weapon at the ready.

I just thought that you would be the first internet so-called or unproved AP ("AP") with the also the balls to show us the real deal, and, at the same time, that you really live your life as though you have nothing to lose. The worst that can happen is that Alan says he's not interested.

In the line of what alan may have been alluding to....I have shunned the thought of starting one of my own free sites thats available....like the one Face opened many months ago. And others.

Its the legality vs what could I lose.

For example, what is my liability if a person in a rage posts personal info about Alan(used in this example).....and I as the board owner dont catch it..and it stays up for a few days, or a few hours(who knows what a jury would deem "too long')

And then some lurking nut uses that info, tracks alan down and does some damage to his property or to his body. What is my liability. Its a new realm of legality that I dont think anyone knows the answer. The nut is apprehended and admits he got the info from the LarryS gambling forum.

So can Alan sue LarryS? This isnt something that would be covered on my home owners. I would be on the line for legal fees and judgement fees.

I have no idea if a jury would even feel... being allowed to be posted for 2 hours as being proper....that i would need hourly supervision either by myself or someone working forme.

Its an untested legal issue.....and i can see that alan doesnt want to be the test case. I dont blame him.

Dan seems to think he's immune from lawsuits. Unfortunately you might have to spend thousands of dollars to prove you are immune.

I had other things to do besides police the forum 24/7.

You could have made Rob your moderator.

You called it. I do live or have lived that way. I guess the problem is that in the last 10 years I have accumulated some attachments which is very bad for the style of nothing to lose. Most likely it will be a gun to the head but it is more difficult than one can imagine to actually do it. A few years ago I got into a state of depression for a few months. I think it was a minor case. I would be doing whatever and all that was in my mind was it's over... there is no point. I was pretty close to jumping off the new bridge. I was even studying how to do it and watching people jump off the Golden Gate Bridge on YouTube. It was about 3 months and I got out of that fog or depression. I did have a few panic attacks during that time. Those were pretty difficult to handle. I couldn't move and I felt the terror and I felt like I was having a heart attack. I didn't like them because they just kinda hit me and I couldn't stop them or had no warning.

I have suffered from night sweats for a few years and nightmares. Not fun. I notice when I go on long juice fasts I don't have the sweats and I can only sleep 3 to 4 hours a day. I guess food really bogs the mind and body down.

I guess I wasn't really hurt but I just feel like your the most logical poster on these forums.

That's horrific. I saw a documentary and it did talk about survivors thinking on the way down they realized their problems weren't as bad as they thought. Maybe a pistol is better. (to the heart not the head.)
Take off that stupid mask you big baby.

If someone is stupid enuf to want to jump, I say JUMP. If they're foolish enuf to want to fire a bullet into their body, I say FIRE AWAY. ESPECIALLY in California.

I just saw where they captured the Golden Gate serial killer near Sacramento after at least 32 years. The rape victims are blaming all the libtard democrats for stopping new technology DNA identifications just so these killers and rapists can be part of their T-O-L-E-R-A-N-C-E wet dreams.

If I were Trump I'd wait for the conviction & sentencing, then pardon the guy right away, citing idiot Jerry Brown's policy of letting drug dealers, murderers & illegal alien felons out onto the streets, blaming "cruel & unfair" sentencing practices by hard-line conservative judges.

That is horrific. Monet, I sincerely hope you’re doing better. A few months back (I think) you posted some thoughts on Christianity or being a Christian. I would lean on that and prayer.

Not to be callous, but selfishly, I would miss your AP posts.

Fake Christian. I have the belief part down but the problem is that True Christianity is a Two Pronged System that they don't teach you in the Corporation of the Churches. A true Christian first believes and after that they live a life worthy of repentance meaning they bring fruits worthy of repentance... this means they act accordingly to the belief or instructions that are laid out. If you ever get the time read the book of James... it is very short at 5 chapters but it is one of the most serious books on the real Christian Life. It clearly explains that belief is not enough. Your actions must line up with your belief. Jesus talked many times about this teaching us about yeast and bread and darkness in your eye. You are either full of light or full of darkness. You have no in-between or mixture.

I am pretty sure that the truth is that I am not going to make it either way I slice it and we all have to die. I have never been one to stand around in line waiting for something that is inevitable. I am not the type of person that will live in constant pain.

The statistics are that men shoot themselves in the head and women shoot themselves in the heart. I am going to go for the head most likely and I think the pistol gripped shotgun with a slug is going to be the better choice. I still have the chance for a massive heart attack or stroke though. I grew up on kool aid, hot dogs and kraft mac and cheese. Later in life I ate more butter and ice cream so I think massive coronary is possible.

I have thought long and hard about whether to make this post. It will open me up to be attacked for those looking for a reason, perhaps even you Monet. I can live with that. As you may or may not know, I lost a dear friend earlier this month. He was young (50's) and died suddenly, without a chance to make any decisions regarding treatment options. Maybe that is the best way to go, I don't know.

Monet, I don't challenge your right to make any decision, your are contemplating. Things you are saying are not necessarily the decisions I would make....at least not based on the information you have or indicate you have, which I believe to be insufficient.

Perhaps you situation or condition is as dire as you have indicated. Maybe some sort of terminal thing, and the best option is for you to determine the timeline.

But just maybe it is not. What if it is some minor issue or condition that can be relatively easily treated by medication and or a relatively simple procedure? Or what if it is not so minor and the treatment option is not so easy, but still possible?

As AP's we make decisions based on as much information as we have available. I just don't feel you are doing that. You are making a decision before necessary....before you have come to that crossroad.

Monet, on behalf of my friend and all those like him, that didn't have a chance to make any decisions, I implore you to seek a diagnosis....find out what is wrong before making any decisions that you are making. Gather as much information as you can first and THEN make your decisions. THAT is the AP way.

Many / most diagnosis of things can be made by blood test where various 'markers' show up. Yes, often there are follow up tests necessary for confirmation. Big deal.

I am wishing you the best and hope you will accept this post and suggestions in the spirit it is intended and allow yourself all available information before making the decisions that are ultimately within your right to make.

Although we don't agree in many areas and I would not make many decisions you make, I would miss your posts and this community (AP and gambling) would be for the worse without your contributions.

I grew up in both the Baptist Church and the Methodist Church as my parents were from each denomination. I even attended mass for awhile when I was young. If not for my Christian upbringing I would have been either dead or, as Merle Haggard put it, turned 21 in prison doing life without parole. There are a lot of snake oil salesmen in Christianity. They sell you a bag of goods that you have to do this or that. It's all hockeypuckey. Forget the Book of James. Forget the rest of the Bible. There is only Mathew, Mark, Luke and John. The only two things you have to do to be a Christian is:

    1. Accept Jesus of Nazareth as the Son of God and having died for your sins.

    2. Repent of your sings

Thats it! You are now a Christian. You are saved. You are going to Heaven. Forget those snake oil salesmen that tell you you have to do this and that. Tell them to go to hell. I'm a confirmed Christian but I hate most preachers because they think I have to do this and that, and especially want my money. No the hell I don't and their not getting any of my money. I give plenty of money away but not to them assholes.

Proof of what? You believe what you want to and I'll believe what I want to. I don't have to prove a damn thing.
