If you actually listened to Rob you'd see that for the most part especially on full pay games he did hold full houses and did not try for quads. The classic example is a full house with trip aces.

In full pay 8/5 Bonus Rob holds the full house. So does Dancer, for example.

In 7/5 Bonus Dancer holds the full house BUT if Rob needs the big win he will hold only the trip aces. Again ONLY if he needs the big win.

In 6/5 Bonus BOTH Dancer and Rob only hold the aces.

If Rob deviates slightly from regular discarding strategy then he would only see small deviations in his results. Yet he claims to have significantly better results.

His strategy isn't dangerous because of his "special plays." It's dangerous because it's an "up your bet as you lose" strategy.

I apologize for not reading this thread sooner, as the PMs would have cleared everything up. I was convinced girlfriday was a sockpuppet, however, and didn't bother reading it.

Mr. Mendelson, as a former journalist, should recognize that what doesn't get said is usually more telling than what does. Mr. Mendelson continually asked about Rob "writing" the posts and PMs, as opposed to coaching someone else or being responsible for them. Mr. Mendelson doesn't like to lie in print, even on a forum, so one just has to connect the dots of what Mr. Mendelson doesn't say to figure out what's happening. Not that hard.

There were many tipoffs. Girlfriday's name, for example -- LOL. It tells you she's doing someone else's work for them. At least Rob has a sense of humor. Then you have the hyperbolic summary describing the PMs to and from me in the original post in this thread. I'm still trying to figure out how mentioning that MickeyCrimm is using his last name puts me in the category of idolizing him. And while I can be as narcissistic as Tony Stark, my PMs to girlfriday were strictly Dragnet in tone. So I'd say girlfriday's mischaracterization of the PMs, while of course not actually posting the PMs, was a big tipoff. Then we have the posing as a math-reliant advantage player who can't quite put her finger on what's wrong with Rob's voodoo. Then we have her showing up to simply take down kewlJ with some mortgage expertise and agree with Mr. Mendelson.

I mean, c'mon. It's not even in the debatable category as to what was going on.

The thing is, it doesn't get propped up without Mr. Mendelson, who's probably having a hearty guffaw at this point. He massaged this thing along.

The disturbing angle to me is that, since I was likely to respond when girlfriday asked if anyone else was using their real name, this was clearly aimed at me. So I have to assume Mr. Mendelson is part of my problem.

Mr. Mendelson, be careful. You may get one of those Fs from Ms. Stumhoffer I mentioned in a previous post. And this isn't English class.

I'm LOL at the PM's RED posted. It just oozes classic Singer. You can, (or could; many are no longer online), find scores of posts going back decades from "new" people to a forum that follow the same formula to a "T": Feign ignorance about Rob and his system. State you decided to look into it to see what the controversy was about. Mention scores of details that just happen to be what Rob constantly writes. Express remorse that he is banned because they would like to have a discussion with him, and/or call for him to join the forum if he wasn't already there. Bonus points for defending his buddy Alan.

I have pretty close to zero doubt on this. And what can you say about someone who's banned, numerous times, who just HAS to try to keep himself in the conversation. SAD!

I have posted here 8 years and am no "sockpuppet" for anyone. I was disdained when Rob stooped to the lowest level by acting just like his accusers. I actually enjoyed it more when he had his website and I could converse like a sane person. I had no qualms with anyone and actually gained some insight from Arci. Perhaps this is just a mirror of the dark side of our society- as I still see daily others helping one another and not holding their differences up as a display of their superiority.

Unlike some, I am hesitant to call people names unless they call me names first.
So far when I got here MC and KJ welcomed me with name calling.
Maxpen and RS derailed a survey thread with name calling
And some socks have joined in and got banned.

I am trying to add to this site with commentary, but when met with name calling...I have no problem responding in kind.
I do it well. and THATS what annoys people. When insulted, I have the ability to reduce the flamer to a pile of cinders. And that seems unfair.

Maxpen and Rs try to flame me by childishly calling me TARD...and they end up getting what they deserve. It may not seem fair, like a person with a capgun gong againt a stealth bomber....but thats the lesson they learn. Let me tell you what this whole fridaygirl sockpuppet was really about. Singer was trying to draw information out of me about my past mortgages, in the hopes of finding out something that he can use to identify and find me. He knew that posing as a banker and saying that I couldn't have gotten a mortgage, would draw me to respond and maybe give him something he could use. And I fell for it.

He likely has friends/relatives in the banking/mortgage industry that he will use to illegally obtain private information. Alan this isn't a game. This is a sick dude that is crossing over from internet to real world criminality. You are aiding him and being a part of it.

When I had my kidney/pancreas surgery which started about 11pm and lasted about six hours, my wife and son and sister in law were all there waiting. Do you honestly think they ring a visiting time is over bell for everyone?

I'll say it again. Girlfriday was banned because of guilt by association. She called no one a retard, she made no racist remarks, she didn't even say anything objectionable unless you are against criticism.

No one with a dissenting opinion will ever post here again. By banning girlfriday before even one violation of any rule -- written or unwritten -- and even without an IP address that was used before, she was cut off.

Girlfriday joined an anonymous forum and within 24 hours is asked to prove her identity with a phone call. Meanwhile girlfriday is working in the very sensitive financial services industry where gambling is shunned. Don't deny it --it's true. Call your bank and ask them if their computers block any websites related to casinos. Heck the computers at KCAL and even the public computers in my apartment building block anything casino related. Even my own website is blocked.
