definition of trolling: "make a deliberately offensive or provocative online post with the aim of upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them."

I'm loathe to point the trolling finger, but suffice it to say that there is a lot of trolling on this forum, and it was as bad or worse before LarryS. joined.

Max called him a TARD; turnabout is fair play.
    What, Me Worry?

Larry have you been to Free Gold Watch yet (on Waller near the corner of Waller and Stanyon in San Francisco in the Haight-Ashbury district ) ? They've got over 40 pinball machines (coin-drop, not admission fee) - it's a custom t-shirt shop.

yes MC ...do I need to post again your post where you used antiwomen words like B... h and C,,t. And Motherfer, ...do u need to see that. It was on this site.
You should be the last to point fingers. And you said you posted it while sober...so you had the ability to not post it. Yet you did.
So whatever excuse you had for that display....no one wants to hear excuses.....and you of all people after that vulgar display, point fingers???

no, the last one I went to was in Alameda. It was great. the machines were in excellent shape. Maybe 3 were out of order. But all the flippers had the right force, and the bumpers reacted as they should. I dont go into SF much. I usually go to nevada on weekends. But if it snows in the sierras to keep me away...I might look into that one. thanks

Its amazing the pure simplicity of the ones from the 60s when I grew up. I play a few of those for nostalgia....and also the old baseball ones also....very simple. But at the time they were all we knew.

The only place as a kid I could play them was when we went to the shore, and they had arcades in asbury park and atlantic city. nothing really locally. There were no malls yet. Maybe a pizzeria would have one...but thats about it. But when I got to them, my parents couldnt tear me away.

In reno a couple of casinos have one or 2 machines in the kids arcade area/ But mostly video games. And also to get the kids in the mood to gamble..they havemachines that spit out tickets that can be used to buy plastic crap if you "win"

When I was a senior in high school we used to smoke up, drink some Rolling Rock and then go shoot pool and play pinball at a billiards joint in Cherry Hill.

Got good enough at pinball that most of the games were free; pool though, that's another story.

Too bad I wasn't into the "old school" stuff like I am now: the Latin Casino was down the road and always hopping.

Meanwhile like a sewer rat RS looks for his next "ap opportunity" having as much value to society as he does his job ,AS A SEWER RAT does.
Very odd, a sewer rat pointing fingers and calling names.
Its not unusual for Aps to be socially backward, using words that were popular in kindergarten. Look how people at Wov behave, You fit right in.

So although this thread was started by me not to call names. It seems the socially backward Sewer rat and Maxpaperboy just dont know how to fit in. If the 2 of you would like to turn this thread into a name calling venture. I can do a little better than calling you both "tards".

You probably dont realize it, but the owner of this site, frowns upon name calling. Yet like sewer rats you soil your environments. So carry on. Sewer rats and little paperboys dont frighten me. I flick them away with a finger. This thread was not intended for name calling..however I am happy to finish what you started little boys.

Imagine getting castrated by a "tard"........but its easy to do to paperboys and sewer rats.

Its easy to fk with socially backward folks..the 2 of you are like ants in my own personal ant farm. I enjoy you both but yet i can squash you at will.

carry on little boys, dance for me. Call me a "tard" again.....it doesnt stick.......but sewer rat and paperboy seems to stick amazingly well.

Arguing on the Internet is like running a race in the Special Olympics. Even when you win you look retarded. So I will let you carry on with your ant farm and delusions in your retirement. Unfortunately, I don't have time for nonstop back and forth regarding the same topic.

I remember getting chased out of a pool hall for playing pinball because I was under 18 and it was an 18 and above place.

My father was a pro pool player so I grew up in pool halls playing pinball and pool. When the pin ball machines started to age, my father bought them for next to nothing. So we had a basement full of pin ball machines (and of course a pool table).

Made a lot of $$$ all through college hustling both. Got 10-1 one time that I could beat a guy with me flipping with my feet. I won.

IIRC the one I was trying to play was Space Lab from Williams. The guy yelled at me from across the room to stop playing and when I wouldn't, he started to jog towards me and that's when I took off running. He chased me for a block or so and then gave up. I heard there were massive prop bets by poker players on The Addam's Family (Bally 1991) for like $10000 a game at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles - if you were a good player you could make more money on pinball than poker I guess. I sure hope the physics on the new skill-based virtual pinballs that are starting to hit the casino floors are the same as real pinball . . .

I never thought about trying to hustle pinball for money. I guess I have never really been around pinball where people had any money or were betting on it. I haven't played a significant amount of pinball, but I have played my fair share as a kid. I figure I'm better than the average person.
I think my favorite is Elvira.

When Ahigh had his pinball debut @ G2E, I played about 2 games when I offered to play him for money($50 a game IIRC). We played a few games and I beat him easily. He seemed really pissed off. I offered him or anyone on his team 2 to 1, they all declined. It's too bad he didn't find any success with that game.
