They charge $15.00---all you can play

The one by me in Alameda Ca charges 20...so if I go with my wife....its a 40 dollar admission

    https://www.pacificpinball.org/

    when do your days begin....whatyear

also if you have your mind set one one machine..call ahead...sometimes machines are closed for repair. Maybe their website lists them as well.

I started in early 60s, so for nostalgia I will play some of them. But end up playing post 1980 most of the times spent there.

Both the one in Alameda Ca, has at least a dozen or so pre-70s, and the one in vegas has a few dozen if i remember correctly pre-70

My pinball days started late 50's as a little kid through college so up until late 70's and a little early 80's.

    Games I fondly remember:

Little Debbie, Caberet, and the Big O in the 60's.

Drop A Card, Flying Carpets, and Four Square in college.

A billiards themed one whose name I can't remember in the 80's.

My friend with whom I used to play in college says none of the ones on that list I posted above are "primo" games. I have no idea if that is true or not.

I am no expert.....in the early 60s I cant name the pinball machines I played.....but there was the bseball machines with the ball that got pitched and you hit with bat using a flipper button on the side. Sometimes stick men would run around the bases and sometimes ir was jusr a light the lit up on a picture of a diamond

Also the good thing about the place you have a little drive away from youis that you dont have to know ahead of time which ones you like...you try what you want and move on quickly if you dont like it.

For 15 dollars not a bad deal.

And if you can find a nice place to eat around there you can mkae an afternoon around it. They may stamp your hand so you can play, and then go eat, and come back to split it up.

Go to Las Vegas and do it right-

    http://www.pinballmuseum.org/

The NEW Pinball Hall of Fame (PHoF) opened November 3, 2009 at it's new dedicated location at 1610 E. Tropicana, Las Vegas NV. Twice the size of the original PHoF, the new locale is much closer to 'the Strip'. Also it's a standalone and dedicated museum, with pinball and nothing but pinball for 10,000 square feet. The new address is 1610 E. Tropicana, Las Vegas NV 89119 (right across the street from the now closed Liberace Museum.)

Las Vegas is known for the unusual and offbeat. Places like the Neon Museum, the Clown Factory, The Elvis Museum, the Barry Manilow Store, the Pinball Hall of Fame... Wait a second. The Pinball Hall of Fame? What exactly is that? Or more importantly, why is there a Pinball Hall of Fame?

The Pinball Hall of Fame is an attempt by the members of the Las Vegas Pinball Collectors Club to house and display the world's largest pinball collection, open to the public. A not-for-profit corporation was established to further this cause. The games belong to one club member (Tim Arnold), and range from 1950s up to 1990s pinball machines. Since it is a non-profit museum, older games from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s are the prevelant, as this was the 'heyday' of pinball. There are no 'ticket spitters' here (aka kiddie casinos or redemption). It's all pure pinball (and a few arcade novelty games) from the past. And since it's a non-profit, excess revenues go to non-denominational charities.

yes I agree....and that was mentioned on another thread before the poster started this to continue the topic. Its a good place, takes quarters rather than a flat fee, and has alot of nostalgic old time ones.

Where are some good places to shoot pool in Las Vegas?

Not looking to hustle or get hustled, just a comfortable place with well-maintained pool tables and cues.
    What, Me Worry?

Never been there so no idea on condition - an ok title in good condition is way more fun than a Medieval Madness in bad condition, but based on just the games themselves...

    CANT MISS:

Creature from the Black Lagoon (Bally, 1992)
    Jack-Bot (Williams, 1995)
    Red & Ted's Road Show (Williams, 1994)
    Star Trek (Pro) (Stern, 2013)
    WHO Dunnit (Bally, 1995)

    WORTH PLAYING:

    Alien Poker (Williams, 1980)
    Cyclone (Williams, 1988)
    Dirty Harry (Williams, 1995)
    Dr. Dude (Bally, 1990)
    Earthshaker (Williams, 1989)
Guardians of the Galaxy (Pro) (Stern, 2017)
    Jokerz (Williams, 1988)
The Machine: Bride of Pin-bot (Williams, 1991)
    No Good Gofers (Williams, 1997)
    PIN-BOT (Williams, 1986)
Rob Zombie's Spookshow International (LE) (Spooky Pinball, 2016)
    Sorcerer (Williams, 1985)
    Space Jam (Sega, 1996)
Star Wars Episode 1 (Williams, 1999)
    Taxi (Williams, 1988)
The Wizard of Oz (Emerald City LE) (Jersey Jack, 2013)
    X-Men Magneto (LE) (Stern, 2012)

    MEH:

    The Avengers (Pro) (Stern, 2012)

    NEVER PLAYED:

The Bally Game Show (Bally, 1990)
    Big Ben (Williams, 1975)
Bobby Orr's Power Play (Bally, 1977)
    Breakshot (Capcom, 1996)
