Not that hard to figure out Bill Yung. If you are so concerned....all you had to do was read my last post, one week ago. It started off with that I was heading out of town to attend a Superbowl parade.

I don't fly across country without mixing in some business. If I travel which I don't like, I am going to take the opportunity to expand my rotation and get some play in outside my regular rotation. Unfortunately, as a blackjack AP, I can't announce and take pictures of the exact locations and times, like a machine guy like Mickey can. That has consequences for a blackjack AP.

Now lets address a few of your concerns Bill Yung.

"No wonder Alan left": Alan left because he has been exposed. He in cahoots with Singer had an extremely anti-AP bias agenda. And having been exposed to this and his enabling of Singer (in all his vile-ness), and even recently exposed as being complicit in Singers continuing sock-puppetry, Alan manufactured a reason to leave. In this case....MrV has been mean to him for years. A couple months ago he did the same thing when he left saying he was "afraid" of me. The guy is a joke. When things aren't going his way and he has been exposed, he puts tale between legs and runs.

Bill Yung, you have just proven yourself to be a troll. When I get frustrated and contemplate no longer participating and then decide to continue....YOU TROLL. When I don't post for a week....YOU TROLL. Climb back under your bridge, troll.

The truth is I don't know that continuing to participate here is all that beneficial to me. There is minimal AP discussion and almost zero involving blackjack, which is what I am. There is no opportunity for me to share any experiences that may be beneficial to other newer type players, which is what I really like to do. All I seem to do is defend myself against attacks of both an AP and personal nature. That's not really why I joined the message boards.

So I don't know how much I will be participating going forward. But I will tell you this much, it will be my decision not yours. If something interests me, I will chime in. If not I won't. But I won't be bated by you anti-AP trolls any longer.

I also have a real good security system....and live in a community that has "security" riding around.

However I have no idea who is lurking that might know who I am since I did have a public job.

I remember reading about someone who went overseas, and blabbed to his taxi driver(I am sure the driver looked for info and encouraged the conversation) how he was going to be living with local family and they were both at work and he was going to be doing the turist thing daily. So the place was cleaned out 2 days later. Of course the taxi driver didnt do the dirty work, but his info was worth something, if indeed the burglary was connected.

Even when I went on vacation at work, I would never tell anyone I was going away...I was "Just hanging around the house doing some gardening or repairs...blah blah blah, and maybe some day trips".

I am generally a non trusting person unless I get to know someone.

Its not that I distrusted the people I worked with, but a comment to a customer asking where I was could easily get blurted out, or conversation amongst workers "LarryS is so lucky he is in vegas now"...can be overheard....possibly by a "taxi driver" or the like.

So who knows who is lurking...its not worth the risk. The reward is not that great for me to express where I am going on vacation. Unless I loved to show off or brag

And when most of the other few AP's diddled around, and (apparently) left as fast. Not that I think there is a single person other than MrV who follows you around on the boards.

This board was never going to win any awards, but it was humming along for years. It still would be, in all likelihood, were it not for the interlopers, and the new management here.

the assumption that someone is gone for good after 9-10 days is a rather illogical assumption given that people go on vacations , some checking in with you and sometimes not checking in with you before they leave.

For me someone would have to be gone over 2 weeks before I started to think they were ill or walked away. Otherwise its just jumping the gun and making something out of nothing.

Alan was very helpful to this board because he started a lot of topics and always would chime in with an opinion, typically an idiotic one; this kept the post bubbling.

With Singer here to act as a punching bag this site had activity.

Now they're gone, and it has slowed down.

After all, most people like to be entertained, and clowns are perfect for that.

Those of us who are sober and reasonably squared away just don't have that star power.

I didn't say I was leaving! Bill Yung said I was leaving. He doesn't speak for me. I said I will post when something interests me.

It is ok if the site slows down a bit. The times this site has been hopping...it all has been negative drama stuff, mostly stuff initiated by Alan, Singer or their supporters. It is fine if that goes away. That will attract some new members that have been sitting on the sidelines and didn't want to be involved in all that. Dan himself, said he had been contacted by a number of such members, former active members who have been reduced to lurking. We want these kind of people to come back and new members lurking to join and contribute.

And yeah, Singer will continue with his sockpuppetry. There is already evidence of him making new accounts. Hopefully Dan will stay on top of this and the site will continue towards slow growth.

So will I. How could one not miss someone who starts threads like these trolling the founder of this site? I personally find his 2018 threads about how much he is winning or losing very informative and I certainly enjoy hearing how he is killing it inside the Sports Book with the Eagles Wager thread. Honestly I am jealous I think I am down about 12k in my last 6 wagers in the Book. I refuse to wager in the Book with Boyd Gaming ever again since they were scared of taking my action after making one 700 dollar ticket and trying to bet more later. I ended up losing anyway but at least Stations got the other 2 grand I wagered laughing all the way to the bank since they certainly had the best of it. I was hoping more members were interested in his Golden Knight thread but it is clear I am the only Hockey Fanatic nearby. 25 years down the Strip Thread was beautiful! Another Rainy day in Vegas was full of informative ways to get the edge on the Casino. EV for APs was interesting how he claimed that BJ players have more difficult variance compared to machine players. 2017 Results... well just like the 2018 thread... who doesn't love to hear the stats of a winning player?
