Thread: NCAA Misconduct

No, no, no, no, NO! This can not be true!? Misconduct inside of the NCAA again? I mean again and again?? Just to keep this post short and simple. We as gamblers, hustlers, math guys, APs, and degenerates are supposed to believe for decades and decades that the NCAA is constantly having problems with Lie, Cheat and Steal but the Do Gooder/Honest APs preach to hold your head up high. Don't cheat the Casino. Don't be involved in illegal behavior against or inside the Casino!? Ok, ok... nobody can beat you guys. Even if they beat you, your still the best! I just want to say one last thing... I want the honest Casino to give me all my NCAA action that I lost back from the Sports Book because of this obvious illegal activity found inside of the NCAA.

Monet, don't get me started. When my sites are up and running, I'll go on a few rants. But let me introduce you to my favorite comment.

The NCAA routinely (and recently more blatantly) designs the brackets for March madness so the alleged power conferences (e.g. Cash Conferences) have the easiest roads and cash checks in the smoothest manner possible. The non-cash conference teams often run into what we call a "Tarkanian Gauntlet," basically a virtually impossible array of opponents, usually opening with a tough game against another dangerous non-cash conference club, so as to get one of them out of the way immediately. Back in the day, when discussing the NCAA, Tark came up with this gem,

"The NCAA was so upset with the violations by Kentucky that they gave Cleveland State three years probation."

Now that is a Gem!! Hilarious actually! Thanks for that!

I miss "Tark the Shark" he was great! Chewing or sucking on ice cold towels on a silver platter. Now that is original!

He should be the last to comment on the money trail and how money effects the NCAA choices of penalties toward favored teams etc......his program showered certain players with favorable goods, services, and cash. He played the same game. And he played it well.

Oh, everyone knows Tark wasn't playing it straight. I have no problem with him or others like that. I like how you say at the end of your post that he did it well. He truly did.

Now, of course one of my favorite quotes is ... if you ain't cheating you ain't trying!

Let's read a small excerpt from Joe Montana about that quote...

Tom Brady grew up idolizing Joe Montana, and now the two of them are the only two players with three Super Bowl MVP awards. So what does Montana think about Brady?

He thinks Brady is a cheater. And he means that in the best of ways.

Montana said in an interview with Andrew Siciliano on NFL Network that cheating is part of the game of football, and that finding any edge is what makes players and teams great.

“They always say, ‘If you ain’t cheating you ain’t trying.’ So they’re trying hard,” Montana said

These are my words on the subject...
You can usually tell the real dirty ones in life. Those are the ones who like to point the finger and claim they never do anything wrong but when confronted they usually clam up.

Sorta like the comment that was made recently about a plan and being punched in the face. Things really do change when something like that occurs. You will find in the modern day civilized society that people think they can say whatever they want with no recourse. Every once in awhile you will stumble upon the aggressive individual who will meet those words with action or physical violence. That is when we usually see the talkers run and hide.

I get a kick out of montanna now. over the years he was constantly introduced as the greatest QB of all time, and he accepted those accolades .

Then a year ago brady wins his 5th superbowl, and everyone(including the fence sitters) start referring to Brady as the greatest

So Joe was asked in an interview after that.....if he thought Brady was the greatest.....and he came up with the line....How can you compare eras?......and he named QBs from the 40's and 50's and said its impossible to say.

which is funny because all those years he accepted the miniker of the greatest. Now all of a sudden in his mind you cant compare eras.

Good Point. I have no doubt that Brady is the best ever but it is very difficult to compare eras. It would be hard to blame anyone like Montana to not change point of views and it can be difficult over year after year and interview after interview not to conflict oneself. The point is he was great, Brady is Great, along with many other players that played the game. After all we are just talking about dumb football players anyways!!

He probably will be since he’s dead now

no , others after him will comment as well....he wont be the last... dead of alive. His status of "dead" has no impact as to whether others comment on it in a hypocritical fashion.
