I'll ponder that, as well as the notion of the zipless fuck.

What, Me Worry?
Larry, I'm sure, after having observed no movement from the person in front of you when the clerk in the newly-opened aisle said they would take the next person in line, that you would not have changed to the new aisle. I did not enter a race to beat the other person to the new aisle. The person belatedly observed me getting into the new line and then went to the new line. Had the person gone to the new aisle during the initial call out, I would have just followed behind them to the new aisle. Also a loud, manically barking dog, drew my attention to the Escalade. Perhaps ignoring loud, boisterous events or things happening right next to me in line would mitigate your perception that I am a busy body.
In your future anecdotes, I'll be pointing out the parts you left out.

I know this isn't the point of the story, but if a new line opens and you are the first person in that line... Then you are first. The position you were in on a previous line doesn't matter.
When a cashier asks for the next person in line I don't assume that the person in front of me heard so I always ask first.
Secondly it wasn't established if she owned the suv or even owned the card or even if the food she bought was for her.
It was nice of the owner of the EBT card to provide the person using the card the PIN number for the card - very trusting. I really enjoy lobster tails - hopefully I will get poor enough to qualify for an EBT card so I can buy them (or have someone else buy them and provide them with my PIN).

In the time it took the person to remove their items from the original aisle, walk over to the new aisle, shove my items further back on the conveyor belt, and then get served, they would have been maybe a minute and a half out from being served in the original line;this is why I didn't say anything to the person in front of me - I figured it wouldn't be worth the effort for the person to remove their stuff when they were pretty close to being serviced. Most importantly, I made no complaint whatsoever when the person, maybe a half a minute later to a minute later, came to the aisle I migrated to and went first (the clerk in the newly-opened isle seemed somewhat surprised).

The play Ran deep. From pin cracking to fake ids and outright cons of new Aps. Often these losers would show up in casinos I had been working for years back when this idiot was bumming cigs at trop. I would watch them lose everything they made back to the casinos over and over. No wonder after a paltry few million dollar win online some of these guys announced their retirement. Like a few million can sustain a mid 40 year old gambling addict the rest of their lives. A few million is hardly enough to retire on so young for the average person. That trader on twitter who post 10101010 times a day about Elon is another fraud. These guys get a few hundred thousand or crack 7 figures and think they are doing something. All of them are fraudulent cons. Very few guys with high integrity in this business. I never recruit or work with known gamblers. AP is just short for con artist for most.
