It's pretty simple, if you have Excel on your phone (and if you don't, it's free). You just put this formula in the EV cell:

    =(C2*0.0009) + (C3* 0.00385) + (C4*0.00623) + 0.7167

Where C2/C3/C4 are the cells with the mega/maxi/mini values.
I'm not so high tech but I'll give it a try. Although it takes me only a few seconds to do it on my phone calculator. I don't know if a windows phone is a problem or not. My plan is payed until the end of the year then I will be upgrading to an iphone.

I must say, this is probably the best thread I have ever seen on this forum. If anyone needs any confirmation from the par sheets, I may know someone that can get them.

  4. #104
I agree DR. (Can I call you doc?) You should have seen what happened on Twitter.... I think we have this game nailed, but I would enjoy having a copy of the par sheet as a souvenir. Don't burn a bridge for it.

This thread has several smart people (me being the least of them) collaborating and sharing information on a current game. The force is strong with MC & M146... Special thanks to them. I can tell you they helped me a ton with my data especially around the meter calculations.

This thread does not have a bunch of people calling something bullshit that isn't... No name calling... Just information and collaboration... If ~4 posters on this board were absent, you'd see more information like this.

I hope everyone made / is making lots of money... I can report that 2/3 of the HDs have been removed from my market. Jump on them while you can!

The last play I found in the shop that removed the machines was a $700 winner about 2 hours before the machine was shut down... That took all of 20 minutes.

One other side note... I'm not use to knowing something Monet doesn't know. I especially hope he found some plays, but Vegas is a tough market...

If you have a connection that can get par sheets, I'd like to look at whale song... An older IGT game...

Get used to that! I may be out of the loop very soon altogether. I am thinking about retiring and getting into something else.
I doubt that I will move from Vegas though. Very tough to get my wife onboard with that. I do try to ask her to move to Montana or some Mountain Air Fresh place where I can do some Farming... go figure.
She isn't on board and we are pretty well set up where we are at in life so it is tough to break out of this routine that we have been in for over 10 years now.

I see the doors closing and the window getting even smaller on Video Poker and what I have knowledge on.
The Younger, Bigger, Stronger Dogs are taking over as they always do since the dawn of time.
I am starting to just get plain tired after 20+ years of running around Vegas pushing buttons or whatever.
Maybe I just need a long break or vacation.
Truthfully I never liked the desert but things were a bit different in the mid 90s up till about 2010 or so.

These Progressive Machines are a ton of work in Vegas and you can burn yourself out pretty quick trying to hunt them down.
If you don't have a bunch of people camped out scouting for you, you basically have no shot.
I suppose if you really hustled it hard you could make 100 to 200 a day but you will work damn hard for it.

Not counting the money that I earn in the Casinos our current household has an income of 7k per month.
I suppose that isn't very much but I only spend about 40% of it on a monthly basis.
We live somewhat small and average or lower than average. I don't need the mansion or toys that some people seem to need.
All this doesn't matter though. Anything can come crashing down in an instant and I think I am only waiting for people to pass away before it is my time.

Besides, I like reading your posts.

He picks and chooses what he wants to talk about and when he gets involved.
Very smart and shows great restraint.

I don't think anyone who lives in Vegas and AP's or Lies, Cheats and Steals reads anything Rob Singer Posts.
I actually have him on ignore but when I don't sign on I might catch a glimpse of what he wrote.
I just bypass anything he writes because he isn't teaching anyone how to actually make some money in the Casino.
Either Legitimately or Not. I see no use to read what he writes.
I also have no problem following threads without reading his posts or some other peoples posts.
They aren't breaking down machines like Mickey with Math to back it up or they aren't showing people how to generate mail or anything else AP related.
Perhaps some of these Top Players are helping others through Private Messages but for the most part everything is pretty hush/hush.
The big difference about this site and WoV is that people actually talk publicly on this board which doesn't bother me.
You also can have much more freedom to say whatever you want without any hammers coming down on you.
As much as I disagree with Dan Druff I do agree with the way he runs his forum. Just let everyone say whatever they want and let people dig through the garbage to find some gems.
I prefer it much more than the Totalitarian Like Government that is WoV.

I did notice Rob Singer said something about me dying but that was all I read.
Disease can be a slow killer.
I am trying to correct problems in my body through Fasting, Detoxing and Overall Health Change.
I have always known the Casino Environment is toxic to your body in more ways than one.
However just Three Major Problems that can cause Health Decline.
Either way it doesn't matter, nobody cheats death in the end no matter what you do.
Even though Jesus defeated death and rose from the dead he still had to go through dying on the cross.

    1. Smoke Filled Environment
    2. Staring at Screens for 8-16 hours a day will cause major health problems.
    3. Overeating and eating all sorts of rich food will cause many problems as well.

We aren't even getting into many of the other problems that can occur in a Casino.
These three have been pressing on me for 20 some odd years.
I started out in the Poker Rooms when you could see the cloud of smoke down to your waist or chest.
I would play poker in those rooms all day and night breathing that in or trying to filter it with a scarf or something like that.
Later they started to change the rooms to Non Smoking but I switched to Machines!
Many times I would have people smoking beside me with the smoke going right up my nose!
Not to mention the bars that I played at filled with smoke.
Eventually it catches up with anyone.
If you are not detoxing and eating properly and exercising it only gets worse.
Add alcohol to the mix and or drugs and other things and you will decline faster.

So with my new eating habits and health change I also have to consider getting out of the smoke filled rooms.
I did pretty well overall. I won and lost millions and I banked close to a million in cash and over that if you count some of the possessions that aren't liquid.
My shoulders and middle back are starting to feel the pressure from playing so hard for so many years.
Many people couldn't bang as hard as I could or still can. I have a video game problem and it translated well for playing video poker.
I could play 20 hours straight with only bathroom breaks many times.

Not that I can't still make some money in the Casino...
It is just harder these days and different. It isn't just lying on the floor everywhere like before.
Even if I quit for some time I could always go back to it if I do give it up for awhile.
Sometimes people just need or want a change of pace and I have been thinking about it for 3 years now.
I keep saying I am going to take a long break but it is hard to get out of the cycle.

I keep thinking how easy shoplifting and selling it is but I want to change my life and not steal anymore
If you ever do this do not be like this guy who was selling all the merchandise on ebay... not very smart ha ha!
John Patrick Weismiller was making 10k per month doing this grift in 2011 or so.

I am up at 4:30 AM today. Outside of reviewing on the hurricane on the east coast (or gas bombing in Massachusetts), I am checking in on this forum.

Yes, admittingly, I do not have to live on gambling winnings. This does not mean, I do not want to learn, or expand my horizons. I can do other things, and I do, but the last few percent of my time is checking in on my distant friends. Good and bad.

Keep the faith, everyone. I apologize for not having a good story/analysis to tell.

He's an amateur. The real pros are boosting high end electronics and computer junk.

AND John Patrick??? LOL. I know it's not the gambler, but still quite funny.

So what's your record for spins without hitting? Took me 712 tonight . Mini was up to 69, I was down to about $300, and had some old bag breathing down my neck. Didn't even hit the wheel bonus that whole time; will def be better rolled next time.

IIRC, 990 spins to hit the mini, but I hit other stuff on the way. One guy posted up on twitter where he had $1800 on him when he chased a $4 mini. It ran him up to 127, he lost the entire $1800 and had to take a walk.

I was heading to Vegas for a few nights later in the month and if I find it and figure anything out I'll let you know. 100% agree that flames are not a trigger with IGT.

On HD, The biggest thing driving the difference on our mega / maxi meter is my 1.1% on the mega vs your 2.4%.

I fully admit your # is probably better than mine. One of us is a professional and the other one has a hobby. Probably not very hard to figure out who is who! :-)
You'll find the Big 5's around the GE's and OM's. Same line of machines.

It would be nice if there was something to Big 5 Safari because the action generated would get a lot of freeplay and comp. But I don't see the meter rates being fast enough to sometimes put the game in positive mode.

About a week ago I found a $1.50 denom (unlinked) on this with a Bison of $93 and change and Rhino of $210 and change. I split the action 50/50 with a friend ($.75 per spin per person) and we hit the Rhino at $212 and change for a net profit of $60 per person after the drop and coin-in. Honestly we were just trying to chase the Bison, so, as far as I'm concerned, we got lucky with respect to the $80 initial investment ($40 per person).

If both those meters were more than double the reset value then now I have to think there may be something to the game. I didn't think they moved fast enough to do that. Going to have to investigate when I get the chance.

I'd offer to help, but I don't have access to the game so I'm at a disadvantage. Hope the reset values help you (I suspect they will)

Yeah, it saves a lot of time. They are perfectly symmetrical. The point at which the meters start flaming tells a little story too. You know the frequency can be no lower than the point it starts flaming.

One thing to keep in mind about this game (if you aren't already) is that if the screen fills with all of one animal you then get a chance for the progressive as opposed to automatically awarding the progressive for the corresponding animal. So, for example I got all Bisons and it shows a Bison (an outline of a Bison filled with all black inside) running across the screen, and then, after the Bison runs by, it might award the progressive or it might not. In the case where it does not award the progressive, it gives an award of a few dollars, depending on the denomination. I noticed on the 75 cent denomination, it rarely goes past $43 (reset value is $20) for the Bison, but I did get burned chasing the Bison at $42 for a loss of $60 one time since it is not a must hit.

Not that it makes a difference, but that animal looks more like an ox than a buffalo/bison to me.
