Thread: Rob Singer sightings...

Thats funny. Sounds like the patrick model whew he would have followes post that they went to a casino , drove 2 hours round trip, stood around and charted tables for 3 hours, them platyed for 30 min, and grinded out a 3o dollar profit and then drove home. And people would pat the person on the back and proclaim that small wins are the way to go blah blah blah.

If the guy was running a business....this business would be bankrupt. The time, the gasoline, the wear and tear on the car....makes that a losing proposition.

So then the question is ..how do you know when to stop? Do you stop at 10 dollars? or 12 dollars? or 25 dollars or 100 dollars? What if the right time to stop is 50 dollars and you never get there. you lose and never get profitable, or youget to 35 dollars and then slide down.

There is this expectation that a person will be ahead with enough money to stop a majority of the time..which isnt a mathematically sounds assumption.

So when you win you have to offset your expenses....plus you have to offset the losing days...in order to be profitable overall.

"knowing when to cash out" is a vague term. Do you cash out and go home? And if you go home....how long are you supposed to stay at home.? Do the cards or dice or machines have any clue when the sun goes down and then comes up again? Can you cash out and then return to a table in 5 min? Or 1 hour? or 3 hours and 47 min? Or does the clander have to change to another day. And if the calander changes to another day....is 12:01 am ok? Or does it have to be after the sun comes up?

"knowing when to cash out" first involves winning enough money to cash out with(which is not a given),,,,,,winning enough to offset expenses and past losses in order to gain a profit and not just a "cashout" for the sake of saying that you had a "cashout". What good are consistent cashouts if they dont cover your expenses and past losses on a consistent basis. And then knowing when to cashout...you have to know when the stars align so that you can return in a few minutes, hours or days.

It's so damn funny. Rob supposedly "leaves" (we all know he's still at home) and this guy "Will" with only TWO posts, pops out of nowhere and makes a third one 4 1/2 years after his second making more BS claims about win goals and such and how he was a "former AP." After I call this fake out, Alan IMMEDIATELY jumps to Robs, err, I mean "Wills" defence saying that "Will" contacted him and that it isn't Rob. These two clowns are phonier than a $4 bill. Get fucking lost!

Cashing out according to your methods is the toughest thing in the world to do in a casino, harder than anything i have ever tried. But it works. Only the true masters can do it, every one else will eventually lose.

I cash out a ticket on every machine I play....and I play up to two dozen different machines a day.

If you never won how could you be an advantage player? If you are correct and it doesn't matter can you please get the Casinos to bring back all the Full Pay Video Poker games with the fast progressive meters. Can you tell them to bring back the 4 and 5 way Video Poker progressives with the Full Pay meters. Can you get them to bring back all the 100 play and 10 play full pay games like JoB, DB, Jokers, Deuces... and many other versions. Heck tell them to just put all the Full Pay Deuce games back with the good cash back card with 10x multiplier days and everything else they decided to downgrade. Please ask them to bring back all the higher denomination VP with the full pay meters as well. While you are at it can you tell them to stop no mailing and 86'ing players who pound Video Poker 10 hours a day since you can not beat those machines. My last request is for you to call the Maloof Family and ask them to buy a bunch of the Casinos in Vegas because they had some of the best games in town at one time giving the player the edge or a fair shake and I just plain miss them.

My fave was the bank of 25-cent FPDW with the progressive near the door. The Maloofs also, when the Palms was an independent sports book, had some outlier numbers and were not afraid to gamble. Their comps for sports bets were among the best back then. I think only Circus-Circus and the LVHilton had better sports comps.
