Oh Larry just shake it off. Is there really nothing more important in your life than this forum?

Saw two lines of text and thought you were actually going to contribute something to this forum. Sadly, you once again contributed NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING.

Funny how you mention two of the biggest bullshit artists on this forum.

Sports books at casinos don't offer hotel comps?

I'm not sure of the relevance of this question to anything, but okay, I'll answer it out of the blue. But why was this particular question asked?

At the Wynn, for example, if you put 20K through in a day and they are feeling generous, they may buy you dinner. But it's not a lock. The average rate of comps around the city is probably $1 for every $500 bet or something like that. Some are significantly worse. If you ask at most books, they'll usually be honest and tell you that unless you bet horses, it makes little sense to sign up just for the sports comps.

Plus, if you happen to win somewhere and you're tracked (as CET does it), how much you can wager on various games gets correlated with how much you've lost. It's debatable as to whether it's better to be tracked or not tracked via a player's card. Very debatable. Drinks and such are usually doled out in the sports book without reference to any player's card, so not being tracked doesn't shut down your drink tickets.

Now, out of curiosity, why the question?

Since I answered this, I was wondering why it was asked in the context of this thread. Any ideas?

I just couldn't understand how you weren't getting a comped room.

So it was the, "You claim to bet a fair amount on sports, so why aren't all three nights comped?" question. I get a kick out of this.

    1) I have mentioned the comp rates for sports before.
    2) The majority of my wagering is offshore, which I mentioned before.
    3) I have mentioned the disadvantages of being tracked betting sports in Las Vegas before, although not many times.
    4) Each sports book can have different numbers. So even someone tracked at Boyd may not do much at Boyd itself. People shop for the best numbers. It's core to the whole endeavor. You don't just bet where you're staying.
    5) Even if tracked, not all sports books use a cumulative method for comps. In other words, when I said the Wynn might give you dinner for 20K in wagers, that's in one day. Doing 10K each day for two days, it doesn't tally together to give you dinner, unless they feel like being generous. The Westgate system, in contrast, is cumulative.
    6) The amounts I put on sports other than football wouldn't get me two cups of coffee and a Danish most places. I have mentioned this before.

Of course I'm now wondering if anyone made a follow-up call or two to verify what I said in my original answer regarding comp rates. If anyone has verified that, please just let folks know I was providing accurate information.

No, it's just that comps are handed out all over town even to low limit players.

Guess that confirms it's two-bit wagering. Which by the way there's nothing wrong with that. Just don't claim 6 digit wins and cash outs.

I'm sure if I claimed either, you'd use the direct quote right here. But it seems to be missing in action.

Meanwhile, I was going to let this slide, because you clearly don't know what you're talking about (as in at all) when it comes to sports betting or offshores, but I'll give you some hints. I was going to give you six, but I changed my mind. Pearls before swine and all that. Anyway:

    1) Have you ever heard of Pinnacle? Not a niggardly place.
    2) Bitcoins move 10 to a hundred times the money you're talking about. Bitcoins may be the primary means of offshore funding these days.
    3) Billy Walters was no stranger to offshores. Take that for what it's worth.

You seem to think you actually know what you're talking about. You do not. Why you insist on pretending, I have no idea.

I did both, quote and mention where you claim a handful of 6 figure wins from offshore gaming sites.

Bitcoins ? I don't care if you were betting in Pearls, no off shore site is paying anyone in the USA six digit wins, especially Pinnacle, who don't even except USA players.

Next you're going to claim you have a residence or know someone in Great Britain making bets for you.

That direct quote still seems to be missing in action. When you find it, you might want to include the entire quote, which was a hypothetical that argued against posting online wins as evidence of anything.

Now it's hypothetical and being taken out of context, only to mean how someone decided to view it. You hustling bullshit artists living pathetic, desperate, jackass lives, will say anything to protect your endless bullshit.
