Monet's player club card scam had nothing to do with sports betting, but it was the cornerstone of his AP strategy. He never admitted that the free play would drop off without additional play. And that "portfolio" of cards from Station Casinos and it's free play would evaporate quickly and he never acknowledged it. He only talked about the positive and never the flip side.

I can only vouch (a little) for marginal aspects of what monet said, and that only applicable to Boyd. But it seems what he had done at Boyd in the past was being done by quite a few folks, and that's why Boyd has been tweaking its senior day stuff. This is a guess, but I think he was suggesting that if you control dozens of cards, and 1 card in 80 qualifies for the mega-point multiplier (50X?) on Wednesdays, then it's easy enough to sample every card, identify the 50X card, and play that one to the max. Afterwards you split the winnings or use some formula to pay people for the comps accrued and everybody benefits. So each week, the entire crew of card-owners in essence qualified for the 50X. As I said, I'm guessing, but that seemed to me to be an aspect of it that had occurred to me previously. I just don't know anybody who actually executed the idea, but I lead a sheltered life.

That 50X puts everything well into the positive range, since you can acquire free play for points accrued.

You are not mentally capable of determining if he misinformed you. I am. He didn't. He couldn't give a definitive answer of when freeplay ends because it is different with every casino. It might last a couple months it might last for years. And you could possibly be no mailed. The people "in danger of losing player club benefits" had no benefits without his play.

The bulk of the plays he put down were progressive slots where the meter had built to where it was positive. He had an advantage to start with. Those plays created the mailers with freeplay. You run the freeplay until it quits coming, simple as that. When another progressive goes positive you put the play down again which can keep the freeplay coming. Or if the freeplay had run out it regenerates it. Pretty simple.
