I always get the feeling everyone thinks I had no VP knowledge when I started trying his strategies. Surprisingly, my play was already similar to his, though it was more of a strategy without win goals. For one, back then I equated a VP machine with a slot machine and ALWAYS thought it was ridiculous to stay at a dead machine thinking one moment it would switch to a winner. Thus, short term play.

Truth is Monet can't answer your question as specifically as you are "demanding", because there is no one answer. Different casinos give different amounts back in free play for certain levels of play through (coin in). Part of the play is to figure out what different amounts generate at different casinos. Who is giving good free play offers and who isn't.

When I moved to Vegas 9 years ago, I didn't know squat about machine play. I still don't know much. I came to play blackjack not machines. One of the guys I network with convinced me that I should learn the strategy for a couple basic VP games and start putting some coin in per month. That it would generate significant +EV because of the disproportionately higher mail offers. His exact words were that not taking advantage of this was leaving money on the table. So I did.

Nobody told me put this exact amount in and it will generate this amount in FP. I had to learn that for myself. You figure it out by trial and error. And every casino is different....uses a different formula and some of it is illogical. I mean maybe at casino ABC you put $20,000 coin in and it generates xxx amount of free play a week for 2-3 months (until the cycle ends). So logic would tell you that if you double that and put $40,000 coin-in, you will receive 2 times xxx a week. But guess what? doesn't work that way. Maybe $40,000 generates just slightly more. Maybe the same. Maybe the next level is $50,000 or $60,000 to bump up. You gotta figure this out. You can't expect someone to hand this to you.
