Something about Iced Tea or Tea that helps with the digestion for this thing. Those nuggets are like bread and those guys always dunk the bread in the Tea during the Hot Dog Challenge.

You're thinking of eating competitions where you're going up against other people in a finite amount of time. This was totally different. It was just myself v. the nuggets. I was actually right at the pace I wanted for 100 in an hour. The goal was to front load some of them (but not too fast) that way I could drop down to as little as one nugget per minute if it got difficult at a certain point. That part of the plan worked, like I said, my stomach felt just fine.

But i remember specifically the manager called it by name...and I did eat 18 of them in one sitting. The store didnt have a place to sit. No tables and chairs....i just sat on the floor and was serves one cake aft er the other on the floor. A newspaper was spread on the floor to keep the floor from getting sticky. - when you buy a Mcdonalds franchise you have bought yourself more than a partner....you have bought an entity that control every aspect of the business...what you sell, codes of conduct, in and out of business hours. If word gets out that you are renting out your mcdonalds once a month for a KKK meeting....Mcdonalds can pull the franchise out from under you. They have that power in the telephone book of a contract. So yes they have a say as to what contest if any is held in their stores and who can video it, and where it can be posted. Its private property. They have an absolute say in the matter. And its up to the owner and the managers to make sure the corporate way is followed.

There may be local restaurants that have these type contests,,but its the local restaurant that benefits financially from it if there is a benefit. Its a gamble. They control the rules. And maybe they feel vomiting is acceptable. But they have that choice to make. They generally dont own 35 thousand restaurants worldwide that can be negatively effected by a viral video. There is no upside for mcdonalds to allow that. But there may be an upside for Nancys pancake house. Or a tiny chain that wants to get its name out there.even if there is a risk involved, But in the end these places take on the risk themselves,,,,just like nathans does.

And while mcdonalads stands by saying nothing...well they payed a million or so for hot coffee spilled between the legs in a car. Who the fuck knows what a jury would find. And they have the deepest pockets. So they will get the law suits..and it will cost them alot of money even if they win.
Plus the bad publicity someone being killed or hospitalized from mcnuggets is a dream the execs at wendys and burger king have every night. So the lawsuit could cosy mcdonalds tens of millions in sales...even if they dont pay the victim a penny

This is why mcdonalds corp maintains strict control on what goes on in the stoes ..because it can negatively effect 35000 other stores if it gets viral.

Now if some spectators at Nancys pancake house contest are grossed out and never go there again because they cant get the image out of their mind of vomit covering a stack of pancakes....well then thats the risk that Nancy took. But if people see a viral video of someone in a mcdonalds vomiting over the mcnuggets.....and a small percent of them shun eating mcnuggets because of the everlasting image.....well then thats just too fucking bad for mcdonalds..isnt it. They make enough money. They can afford to lose X amount of dollars worldwide just because a manboy or a similar person decided they needed to use a mcdonalds site as a backdrop for their whims. Even if that store loses one future customer that was pissed....its still selfish of manboy to put the business in that position.
