Heck even manboy is at it again asking for donations for the other site. It seems he has a 750 dollar renewal fee that is coming due. and is asking for 20-50 dollars per donation.

    WTF?

    A "renewal fee?"

What does he need to renew?

He sold the site; you'd think the new owners would need to pay any "renewal fee."
    What, Me Worry?

Just another Millionaire who begs for money on the street.
Actually asking strangers would be more respectable but this asshole asks his own people who know he has plenty of money.
And they give it to him!!
The Hypocrisy is strong with this Wizard!
He has enough money to hang out with a bunch of Witches at the Burning Man though.

Interesting note is that Miss V said that people like this in Oregon should be hit in the head with a baseball bat.
Somehow those hustlers are bad... The Hustling Wizard is Good.

    No big deal.

Bode Miller raised $31,806 after losing his baby girl so far.
Needless to say Bode Miller has over 7 million.
So if you want to give you can give to both hustlers and the links are provided for your convenience.
Ask them for a receipt so you can get a tax break.

    Oh... right... #donthustlepeople... #hustlemachinesonly

    Thanks for the compliment!

Where does the Christmas Carol guy hang out? Is he any good?

The Biggest Little City sign. A happening place where folks from all walks of life come together. He isn't bad. It's likeh is own way to give back during that time of year.

Now the other guy in overalls without a shirt shaking a large cain, hollering "have you found Jesus" has guts. Man, does catch some shit.

So if it’s not too negative and you don’t mind me asking, what was the lottery process like, and what are you expecting will be your overall cost to attend?

The ticket was around $1,000. However, my share of the RV cost will be the main expense. Every RV rental place within 1,000 miles of BM jacks up their prices for that week. The rental place is also delivering it to BM, which can't be cheap. I'm just one person in eight, and hopefully my share will be less, because I don't get sleeping privileges. Then there is the expense of food, water, beverages, and what not. Fortunately, I already have most of the clothing and comfort stuff that is required. Eventually, after the dust settles, I'll get asked to pay up whatever they feel is my share. Once I get that figure, I'll let you know.

I am thankful that others have organized all the logistics and I'm riding their coattails.

About the lottery process, I never entered, so don't know that much about it. I'm sure other sites go into that in detail. I fear we got our tickets on the scalper market, which will be all the more I have to pay.

Ever watch undercover video of "homeless" people that beg for money on street corners? Some are pretty well off. As I said, what's wrong getting suckers to pay your bills?

  17. #37
    It's an advantage play.
    What, Me Worry?

Lots of sites are, "Pay to play," with the, "Pay," not even being optional. It seems like he is soliciting donations that the members can choose to either make or not make.

Guys with money are just supposed to always use it for the benefit of others and never ask people to chip in on any good or service?

Again, I thought I was supposed to be the Liberal, here.

I'm not sure either Monet. We might consider creating a VCT poll with each poll choice consisting of a reason why he might have chosen to create that poll Monet ;-) We have a creative lot on this forum and I'm sure there would be some colorful entries on the VCT poll should it be created (kind of like a caption contest I guess).

    Cheers, tp.

You are the Liberal. After reading many of your posts I believe you are far more Liberal than you believe.
However that isn't the point to this topic or disagreement.

Many pools are public and they charge a couple dollars UPFRONT to use them daily.
You have pools that are private and you have to pay dues UPFRONT to use them.
You have other pools that are in a private club and you have to be invited to even think about being able to be a member to use the pool.

Now the Wizards Pool is like a Pool in his backyard and he invites anyone to use it for free.
The Wizard has plenty of resources and constantly shows off that he has enough money for the rest of his life.
The Wizard constantly rebukes people who ask for money.
After enjoying the Wizards Pool every so often he begs for donations to pay the water bill.

    -------------------------------

Whatever... I don't even know what my point is with the analogy. I should just delete it but I know I have a point.

My problem is that this guy constantly preaches and teaches certain things but constantly doesn't practice what he preaches and expects that nobody notices or will call him out on it. If you want it to be private or pay to play than make it that way. Why does he have to be so damn sneaky about it. If it was someone who wasn't so highly against being sneaky I wouldn't have a problem with it but this guy is constantly preaching about morals and not being sneaky and rebuking anyone that is sneaky.

Not only that but he has to humiliate the members who don't want to donate.
He humiliates them in a poll or directly on the thread.

Am I wrong here... doesn't it look bad when Millionaires beg for pennies and are supposed to be some sort of friend to all?

I put up the Bode Miller example. You have a very well to do public figure causing the death of his daughter. Some people call what happened negligence and feel they should be prosecuted. It wasn't long after the death that one of his people put up a GoFundMe page and after the backlash he allowed it to stay up and said they are going to donate the proceeds.

Mission146 had lunch with WoN and that looks bad and is paying in some sort of way with guilt by association.
Bode Miller is paying the same way with the public no matter if he is right or wrong.
The Wizard isn't exempt from such public actions.

Why on Earth would you donate money to the site with the same people as the WoV site?
You can just let that site die and go over to WoV.
Just make it Pay to Play and be upfront about it.
He looks like a real worm the way he begs on his sites.
I know because I am a real worm.
