plus add to it the ability to watch entertainment at home in hi def, and be able to pull up concerts, movies for free or for pay. Instead watching a grainy poor color tv, we now have bigger screens with better sound. I can pull up a boxing match pay per view, or a live concert....and pop some popcorn, or roll a joint i the comfort of my own home .without paying for parking, gas, or the travel time .
At this point in my life, I just have no desire to drive into San Francisco. I still have a desire to keep going to vegas. Maybe that will wear off. But me and the wife used to go into SF alot at one point.
There comes a time( and i dont think this is healthy) that you have so much at your fingertips at home that you dont leave the house...or leave it much less.
The novelty of seeing "celebrities" perform is dampened when you can constantly see celebrity news on tv, or search and get pages of news and performances by your fave performer in your home screen.
