Thread: Money Talks

what % of the statements that people make on forums such as these regarding the money they have made are true and not misleading?

by misleading I mean, for example, somebody posts that they made $4K at casino A on Thursday, but leaves out the part where they lost $5K at casino B on the same day.

my best guess would be about 15% of what is stated is actually true and not misleading.

    what would your guess be?
    please don't feed the trolls

To be fair, people don't like talking about their losses, only their wins. YouTube uploaders get respect when they post videos where they actually lost rather than just their wins. I remember a YouTube uploader posting a video where his very first spins were actually good and then they became dead spins and he ended up losing all or most of his money. A poster wrote something like,"I admire and respect that you posted a realistic session, the one that started off as good and then got really bad fast, and you lost. I'm getting sick of slot videos with only big wins so your losing video is a breath of fresh air.

Ploppies say myriad things about how they do in casinos. From the lady that plays the 90% slots and says she always does well to the guy that plays blackjack and says "How do you like the carpet? I payed for it."
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

It's common knowledge that no one wins every spin they ever spun and those who say every spin they ever spun was a winner is a downright dastardly liar.

I've never had an annual win in a casino. This is 100% true.

I've never had a losing year. I'm at +68K so far for this year. Biggest jackpots? A $4400 royal. 2nd biggest is $1487 on a harley. That should tell you something. I'm not just hitting a big jackpot then calling myself a professional. I'm a consistently winning grinder.

My last losing year was 1996. Since then every year has been profitable. Largest single winner was $100k (twice)/best winning year was $143k (2012).

I won $100K last year on my sports bet. That's right 50-0. Unfortunately, my kids inheritance didn't fair so well. They lost $70K and were 0-35. That's a joke Alan. lol

Is it really possible that we have a new member here who is not a member of the secret society of APs and will actually question/doubt their claims?

And you think HOW much is big money?

People like jbjb don't want my vp success to be true, just like the libtards don't want to accept that the booming economy is true. It hurts them.

Also funny is how other ap's readily accept whatever mickeycrimm asserts at face value, when everybody knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that his schtick on forums over the past decade has been to make up gambling story after gambling story while on serious alcohol medication.

And BTW, everybody who plays nickel and quarter keno and VP at Indian casinos is "up $68k" in August.

Rob, IF you had any success, and that's a hugeeeeeeee if, it's no different than some schlub ploppie winning the Powerball jackpot. Your stupid strategy had NOTHING to do with it.

Well, I tell you Alan. It's work. Dang hard word. But great benefits. I don't want to get caught up in that whole AP, years of being a pro, cult, and it's not what you know, it's who you know way of thinking. Bottom line is I find my game, at my price, and play it within their tolerance. I compete my ass off for about 1500 hands a week. The game is merely an extension of practice. The profit's are rewards for the hard work to gain logic and knowledge. It's the old tomato is a fruit spin.

Don't lottery winners get lucky one time? That "stupid strategy" has netted me far less than most lottery winners, but has provided a consistent profit for more than 20 years and counting. And in order for you to assert that, you'd have to know it perfectly. So explain it in detail right here and if you do, you'd be the first critic ever to actually do that. Otherwise, it's just ap blind judgement.

Rob you are only writing about yourself.

Thanks MC. I learned something new today. Hmmm. I looked it up. You just described 95% of the people in a sportsbook on NFL Sunday. OF course, we always called it HiA syndrome. But now we can use the letters DK and that will prove it.

In general I dont think the the intent of people is to give us a running lifetime NET total. They are happy to report a winning day, or a winning spin. I never extra[polate the reports into more than that one instance.

KJ was the only one that reported lifetime net results since he started in vegas...along with even giving the years where there was a net loss.

Other than him...its all just a single report for a single point in time withno way to extrapolate any info from it.

Its like a kid reporting on a kids website that he got an A on his history test....even though he had previous failing semesters.
