so what are you talking about Nancy-boy?

You are the one who always cries like a bitch trying to get others banned,
and when crying doesn't work, you threaten legal action when you get picked on too much.

monet has a good read on you...King Troll

Larrys, V, Singer all bit when I played that little charade about sexual harassment. I had them pissed off and pulling their hair out. They thought I had gone soft. And now you have bit to, petunia. LOLOLOL! King troll it is! You don't like me because I put it back on your punk pussy ass harder than you put it on me. Now climb back under your rock, slimeball.

mickey, it's simple to see why you get so emotional over the stuff around here: we can tell it's your whole life.

Did you ever stop to think about where you'd be without this forum....the place where you can make up your fantasy life with words on the go (as unremarkable as it may be to the regular folk)?

How about you make a pact with yourself and stop with the vulgarity, the phony tough guy talk, and the non-stop whining and moaning to Dan about the exact same things you constantly do? Your future could be at stake.

    LOL at your last sentence.

I prefer King Rat (1965) myself with George Segal and if you are going to get into Segal you might as well watch California Split (1974)

You are a miserable old man with a miserable life.
You make miserable posts on the internet.
You want to make life miserable for others.
Keep trying but you will never get there.
Climb back under your rock, slimeball.

I would think you feel like that mickey, because you want to believe people with normal lives compared to yours are unhappy, or because I hit a nerve.

    Probably both.

You can't hit a nerve, Rob. Everyone knows you're a quack. You're like Don Rickles. Everyone laughs at your stupid insults. But in your case they are not laughing with you. They are laughing at you.

    No doubt!
I watch it on the regular.
Elliot Gould is on top of his game in that movie.
Jeff Goldblum is so young in that movie but just as whacko.
The movie is very realistic to me.
I think that is a credit to Robert Altman though.
Dealing your own game in poker rooms used to be a thing.
Those days are gone like the days of people playing pan (Panguingue).
Jackie Gaughan loved to play that game, on the regular, at the Plaza.

Interesting Note is that I played a bunch of Mexican Poker in California for a few years.
This was before the Texas Hold'em No Limit Boom after Moneymaker... you know... when playing poker was more of a niche or cool/underground thing.
    Late 90's and Early 2000's.
I never played its cousin, Asian Poker though... I think that deck was 32 cards instead of 41.
I also played a bunch of lowball as well up to the 60-120 limit.
The action in the 20-40 Limit Hold'em games were insane!
All of this fun at the Bike of course.
    I wasn't much of a Commerce Player.
The first time I realized you could eat at the table and get a massage I was awestruck lol.
    Fun Times.
    I miss them.

Yes it was cool seeing The Fly when he was even younger (six years) than his Ten Speed and Brown Shoe days - you could see that the guy had what it takes even then (and even though it was a very small role). Speaking of whom, I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Deep Cover to you, if you haven't seen it already.

Like you wrote - very realistic. Loved the mid 70's Reno stuff near the end especially. Elliott Gould would later go on to do the Ocean's 11 and up as you know - I guess he likes roles in movies that have gambling in them.

That ending with the poker game and run at the tables was great to watch.
If you like Elliott Gould and you like Private Eyes you should check out The Long Goodbye (1973).
    You probably already seen it.
Purists hate it but I think it is really good.
I don't even care about the storyline so much.
I just find it very entertaining because it is basically a whole movie of Elliott Gould being Elliott Gould.
Ironically, it is another Robert Altman Movie.
Hard to go wrong with his movies.
    MASH
    The Player
    Gosford Park...
    Nuff Said.

Elliott Gould was also in Bugsy as Harry Greenberg. Which seems to be a movie people either love or hate. I believe it has gotten overshadowed by Casino over the years and isn’t replayed daily on some network like Goodfellas and Casino are.

I personally liked the movie and found the history, even with poetic license very interesting.

I've seen the movie 20 times or so.
Elliott Gould is good in that movie but the guy he is playing deserved to get whacked.

    No worries.
I've wasted over 40 years watching movies.
I'd be embarrassed to know how many hours I spent watching them.
Even more embarrassing how many times I re-watched them lol.
Glad someone can profit from my wasted time.
