Thread: IT problem at Red Rock

  1. #1
Red Rock Casino is having an IT problem today and it's various kiosks around the casino for the players club are not working properly. And today of all days!

Why is today significant? Today is the day when hundreds of players will play a free game that wraps up a free game that ran all month. Players can win cash and prizes worth up to $3,000 today only. But the final round of the free game is not on the kiosks.

The final round was scheduled to be open for 24 hours but nine hours have already elapsed.

To qualify for today's final round players had to collect puzzle pieces (entries) all month long. This morning there was a line of angry participants at the rewards center booth. The IT department didn't learn about the problem until 7 this morning which meant seven hours of play time was lost in the 24 hour final round.

Why not do something good today instead of hangiing around casinos like a broke degenerate gambler? Trying to win some contest to dump right back in the machines or lose at the table.

Oh wait, that’s exactly what you are. Why not try WORKING and earn something to pay your kid back.

Uber & Lyft might be a good start for someone as unhealthy and lazy as you.

Boz. I heard a good one the other day for a broke degenerate gambler. It's called tapioca pudding. A tap expert or artist. Or being on the tapioca express. Tapped out.

Hey, leave the poor guy alone.

He has every right to gamble, to stiff his son, and to post informative posts about casino IT problems.

    It's what he does.

Just got a call from Red Rock (they took phone numbers this morning) and as of 2pm the "congratulations game" was up and running. I'm just curious what accommodation they will make for people who came in as early as midnight but couldn't get their play or prize?

Well, you just got of the freakin' phone with them: did you ask THEM the question?

WTF would we know about it?

The person who called didn't have the answer.

I certainly don't expect you V to know anything. I only expect you to troll and insult me.

No V defender, but he is what he is.

Just like you are a degenerate gambler who stiffed his son and has no money left to show for 66 years of a wasted life on this Earth.

Somehow I doubt V has any of those type issues.

Boz aren't you the failed screen writer who never made it in Hollywood?

Did you ask the person to find out the answer and to then call you back?

No. I got in my car, drove there, went to the kiosk, swiped my card and got $400 of dining credits.

That's a lot of dining credits.

    You must have been hungry.

Top prize was $3,000 cash. $400 dining was okay. I feared some junk prize like $15. LOL

$400 dining credits meant you probably lost 2k
+ Great brag, great brag. No wonder our son is pissed off about your gambling addiction. The fact that you sit here and keep talking about your casino exploits really says it all.

    Wait, “Our son?”

    That’s...an unexpected development. JK

Sorry, just too funny to pass up.

No Axel. If you only bothered to read the thread. It was a free contest that only required swiping your card at a kiosk by the front door. It was an ADVANTAGE PLAY. LOL

What was the minimum anyone got?

I have no idea. Only the maximum $3,000 prize was advertised.

There was another top prize of free buffets for a year which is worth more than $3k.

One minute players had to collect puzzle pieces all month long, with angry players lined up on Redemption Day in the early am. The next it was a free contest only requiring a kiosk swipe.

Do you even realize that these “free contests” that go all month long are skewed toward people like you?

You were GOING to win something to pull you in multiple times next month.

No question. And I probably go to Red Rock about five times a week for the $4.99 breakfast or $5.99 lunch/dinner.
