    Day 19 Update

    I am in the process of making the family pulled pork in a crock pot.
    For some reason Albertsons had Pork Sirloin on sale at 97 cents a pound.
    My uncle loves that trash. I bought 16 pounds and froze most of it.
    I will have to make him some Potato Salad to go with it and I suppose some baked beans.
    Yesterday I went to the Asian Market and bought a bunch of stuff for Pho.
    I ended up making that and it turned out great for my wife for her lunch.
    She likes the Sliced Rib Eye with Fat on it and Beef Tendon.
    I prefer just the lean sliced Beef. You can find it sliced and frozen just like in the soup houses.
    I watched her eating it thinking how it is my favorite dish.
    You save about 5 dollars... maybe 4 dollars per bowl but it is a lot of work compared to just ordering.
    The good thing is you can control the no msg and choice of salt content.
    I would of gave the Uncle some but I made Pad Thai for them the day before and he had leftovers.
    The noodles broke on me because I am an idiot.
    I added the plain broken rice noodles to the dog food that I have stored in the fridge/freezer.
    Anyways, second batch of noodles came out perfect and he can have some when he finishes the left overs.

    For me I juiced up another 3.25lbs of carrots
    I drank down 16 ounces and stored 40 ounces in the fridge.
    Prior to that I had juiced another Tangerine and Grapefruit.
    I drank another 10 ounces of that strained juice.
    Dogs get a walk at 2:30am till 3:10am.

    It took 7 hours in the crock pot.
    It will take another 2 hours before it is done.
    I shredded it up and put it back in.
    Cook it for another hour now.
    Make homemade BBQ Sauce.
    Add the Pork to the sauce and cook another hour.
    I was able to whip up a batch of Potato Salad pretty quick though.
    My uncle didn't like Bush or Bush's Baked Beans.
    I tease him relentlessly about it.
    I would normally make Homemade Baked Beans but...
    He says he eats Camps Baked Beans (Van Camps).
    I bought him some cans of that crap.
    I couldn't eat anything but I had to taste the Potato Salad.
    I chewed up some and tasted it but had to discard it out of my mouth and rinse.
    Tasted good but I am off that kind of food.

    Two Hours Later I finished up the BBQ Pulled Pork.
    Should of made more and froze it.
    Next time. This batch is good for 3 or 4 sandwiches.
    I made the wife some breakfast while I waited for the Pork to finish.
    Pho for breakfast which is always a classic from Vietnam.
    I used the wrong plate in the picture. I have to work on that.

    I weighed in at 249.2lbs but rounded up to 250
    I went to LVAC for a few laps in the pool.
    I decided to get a 3 ounce shot of wheatgrass.
    That costs 6 dollars. It is optional but since you are saving money on food you can afford this.
    Before that I juiced 16 ounces of Fresh Plum Juice and drank that.
    An hour later I juiced 2 oranges and 2 grapefruits.
    I drank 20 ounces in 2 hours, 10 ounces each time.
    I juiced out the Fridge and got 85 ounces of Carrot/Broccoli Juice.
    Split that up and drank it in 4 hours.

    This is a 28 pound loss in 3 weeks.
    I can really feel a difference when I walk around.
    Easier on the feet and I have more energy to get more done.

    If you don't get into supplements you can see how inexpensive this can be.
    174 dollars in 3 weeks.
    You can round up to 60 dollars a week which is 240 dollars a month.
    Add in a couple extra days and you could easily make it work with 250 dollars per month.

    I had a problem with the Australian Spirulina.
    The order didn't go through.
    Not a bad thing though because I found a better company and product.

    So this one is Raw and supposedly alive which is better for your body.
    I will have to give this a try and update the cost when I actually get the product and use it.
    70 dollars a Jar, if you buy one and the more you buy the more you save.

    I was out of Produce so I had to replenish.
    Going basically Carrot, Citrus, Garlic and Ginger this time again.
    Trying to stay away from the dirty greens that have more poison on them.
    Getting into Wheatgrass for my greens for now.
    I ended up spending 24 dollars at the store for a 4 day supply.
    I did get a bunch of plums to make juice to help clean out the system on a daily basis.
    Grapefruits only but I will get some more Tangerines tomorrow.

    I ended up Juicing 2 Tangerines and 1 Grapefruit for 16 ounces that I drank down.
    After shopping I make 12 ounces of Plum Juice and drank that.
    Not long after that I got into juicing the Carrots and made 62 ounces.
    I drank 16 ounces down and stored the rest for hour to hour and a half intervals.
    So this will be a combination of 28 in Fruit Juice and 62 in Vegetable for a total of 90 ounces.

    My order didn't go through with the australianspirulina.com.au
    So I found an alternative, better, more expensive option.
    I ordered 4 Jars for 240 dollars from https://www.rawlivingspirulina.com/
    The Jars are 16 ounces each. You have to freeze the goo when it arrives.
    They say it is best to freeze it in silicone ice trays.
    I bought 4 of them for 55 dollars and they have 18 cubes at 1.4 ounces each cube.
    They send it in a cooler with freezer blocks so I hope it makes it here in the Heat.
    If you eat only 1 ounce a day this will be a 2 month supply.
    You can see this could be very expensive at $1440 for a year supply.
    Compare that to $360 for the dried tablet version it is significant.
    I want to give it a 2 month try and see how I feel on it and make a decision.
    This is always optional. You do not have to add this to your regiment.

    My citrus juicer broke so I used my old centripetal juicer from Walmart that costs like 40 dollars.
    I juiced up some Plums, Grapefruits and Tangerines.
    I ended up getting 30 ounces of a foam juice that tasted pretty good.
    You get pretty good nutrition but you have to drink it as soon as you juice it.
    I chugged down 3 glasses of 10/10/10 ounces for 30ozs total.

    I had to run some errands and play machines for 6 hours after that.
    I will get into juicing up the carrot medley for lunch/dinner.

    Day 22 Update

    I ended up taking a two hour Nap.
    I felt really good when I woke up.
    I Juiced off about 6 pounds of carrots.
    Drank down 18 ounces and stored 30 ounces for the upcoming hours.
    A little light on the Juice Today at a total of 78 ounces.
    I will have to do better in the future.

    Got to keep your mind right and just drink down a bunch of water or juice when you get these cravings!
    Down 30lbs in 23 days so that is pretty good. At least another 46lbs to go!

    I was hammering a Reel Machine for 15 hours.
    I slept good after I was done with that.
    I only got 6 hours though.
    The day before I did get 8 hours though so that was nice.
    I kinda forced myself to sleep longer.

    My wife pushed me to go do some shopping at 9pm.
    We bought 28 dollars in produce.
    I came home and pressed up 3 Tangerines, 12 small Plums, and 1 Grapefruit.
    I got 30 ounces of Juice/Nectar and drank it down.
    After that we did a Carrot/Broccoli Mix.
    I was able to get 80 ounces and I drank down 16 and stored the rest.
    I am drinking 12-15 ounce glasses every hour or so to help not urinate everything out too fast.
    I am currently down to 242 pounds and should break into the 30's soon.
    The last two days my stomach has been growling a little bit and I am getting some temptation to eat anything meat.
    I have resisted all the urges though.

    One thing that I have been taking is Niacin.
    This is because I had that duck and I was giving it to her at times which is suggested for ducklings.
    So I had a lot left over. I don't eat the gel caps. Instead I eat the powder and wash it down with warm water.

    I don't get all scientific.
    I ain't tracking anything.
    I feel that if people can go on 40 day water only fasts I will be fine.
    I truly believe many things can be overcome by the mind or sheer will.
    I do not buy into all this pushing of protein.
    I don't buy into the Carrot Juice has too much sugar.
    I do believe with the combination of God, The Human Body and Will Power or your Determination you can overcome all obstacles.
    I crave Meat and Junk Food when I have a Losing Day or Week.
    That is normal lol. In the last week I had a 10k win streak followed by a 7k losing streak.
    I will always feel like stuffing my face when the downswings happen.
    The cure for me has been hot water mixed with fish sauce, Jalapeno Pepper and Lime.
    I drink a couple mugs of that mixture and my Meat Cravings dissipate.
    What I could really use is the Spirulina because that helps balance many things out.
    The Hurricane has messed up the Florida Connection and I wanted to try their product over the dry product.
    However I am compensating with Wheatgrass but growing it constantly would be a pain.
    It costs 10 to 12 times more to buy it but I don't want to have to germinate the seed and wash the bins or soak them in a bleach solution.

    I calculate roughly that my protein intake is about 20 grams per day which is well below the so called required amount for my body weight.
    However I am shooting more for weight loss and detox. I am trying to get many things in my body corrected.
    I have seen rapid change in just under 4 weeks.
    One big thing is the Tonsilloliths or Tonsil Stones that came up during week 2 and 3.
    I think they are all out or mostly out. I had plenty of those coughing up in the morning so who knows how long they were lodged inside the throat.
    I also have nearly no more pain in the sides of my throat and in the ear canals. Another thing that cleared up is the pimple like formations near the tonsils.
    I would get those many days. I would try to pop them but usually they would just come back again. Now I haven't had an outbreak since day 4 or 5.
    I am coughing up plenty of phlegm throughout the day. The last few days it has been more of mucus than phlegm. I am glad to get that out of my body.
    I was eating ice cream constantly for almost a year so all that dairy does horrible things inside your body from my understanding.

    One of my main objectives is to get my body to eat all the fat. Not such as easy task and it takes some serious time.
    After it gets the fat I want to see if it will shrink this cyst that I have in the middle of my chest/rib cage area.
    If it does it does... if it doesn't it doesn't. All of that is secondary. The main reason in doing this is to get down to the correct weight or at least a more manageable weight and to live/eat more healthy.
    I may even get out of the smoke ridden Casinos and do something else or just retire. I am in a good spot where I could just walk away. 20+ years is enough

    However, after saying all of this I will put more emphasis on correcting my protein levels.
    Perhaps if I spike them upwards it will kill the cravings of meat as you suggest.
    For me I think it is more mental along with losing money or cooking something for my family that smells good.
    Also when you walk by the steak house or burger joint you smell that aroma and you think mmmmmm I could eat that.
    The meat cravings for the last few days have come later in the day when I am getting sleepy.
    I was in a bad habit of eating before sleep which is a no/no for anyone on any diet or dietary change.

    It seems I hit another wall at 242lbs.
    I expected this after I dropped 4lbs in 24 hours.

    The RawLivingSpirulina company emailed me said that my order wouldn't be ready for a month.
    They are having a Hurricane and expanding the Farm.
    Bummer for me but I can wait.
    Spirulina is kinda controversial.

    Just about the same day as usual.
    I juiced up Tangerines, Plums and a Grapefruit.
    30 ounces from that and I drank it straight down for breakfast.
    I mixed in a few mugs of hot water Fish Sauce, Jalapeno and Lime.
    2 grams of Protein from the Fish Sauce per tablespoon says the bottle.
    After that time to juice up the Carrots and Broccoli.
    I was able to get 55 ounces of Juice from that and drank 15 down and stored the rest.

    No cravings today and no stomach rumblings.
    My body and brain were trying to get me to submit but I declined.

    You can but not that specific type or brand. I put the link in a few posts for people to check it out. This company has some different jarring method that allows the Spirulina to be pudding like and Raw/Fresh with no cooking process that will kill all the enzymes and value of it. When you buy the powder or dry tablets the water has been cooked out and so has much of the nutritional value. The Spirulina from the company from Australia is one of the best in the world for the dry version tablets. This is because both of these companies cultivate this algae inland. If you buy some cheaper or even expensive from Japan or California that works with Ocean Water it has been contaminated from the Nuclear Fallout from Japan 2014. Another interesting option is to grow it yourself but if you make any mistakes you could contaminate yourself and get sick to the stomach.

    The truth is that it isn't necessary but I wanted to try this product. I have read and heard really good things about it but on the flip side I have heard bad things as well. I used to use the Australian product but I didn't use it long enough to notice a difference. I wasn't very serious and when we tore up all our tile and replaced our downstairs flooring I threw everything out because I didn't realize how much dust that would create. I threw all my dishes, utensils, pots, pans and everything out because it was most likely contaminated. It also took me a few days of wiping everything down many times over and vacuuming to get all that dust out.

    So, yes, I could just go buy some Spirulina but I could just eat some Alberstons fake Salmon as well... you see my point? Sort of like buying Wheatgrass Powder. That powder isn't fresh or alive and you do not get the same results from 7 day old Wheatgrass that you juice. I might be overthinking it but I am sure that you understand when you get serious about putting this or that into your body it gets kinda serious and it is very easy to go overboard. The important thing to me is the Fresh Pressed Juice. IMO that has all the nutrition one needs. You really do not need to rely on any type of supplements.

    I notice the views keep going up so someone is at the very least looking in at some of the posts.
    For the most part it is more of a personal Journal for me but I welcome other peoples input.
    You can see a couple Youtube videos of people eating and talking about this RawLivingSpirulina if you search that name.
    They say it tastes like pudding with no smell or taste and you are supposed to freeze it right away to preserve the nutrition.
    You can leave it in the fridge and eat a spoon or two each day but it keeps degrading in value as time goes on.
    After you freeze it you just drop a cube in a glass of water and drink it.
    I bought these silicone ice cube trays from Amazon and I really like them.
    I have been using them for ice. They make large cubes and it takes about 12 hours for them to freeze solid.
    However, I get 72 cubes each time I do it. Some smell after the first few uses but just wash them real good and the smell seems to be gone.
    Not that strong of a smell but I noticed a slight smell. Some users have had a worse experience but normally I don't go for silicone but these are really good so far.
    I got them to freeze the Spirulina but they work great for cubes or juice or anything you want to freeze in cube form.

    Still at the wall of 242.
    I had a a good movement though so I wouldn't doubt some pounds will fall soon.
    I did try to force it a bit with 50 ounces of 120 degree salt water mixed with lime.
    They suggest 2 teaspoons of Him/Pink Salt with 32 ounces of warm water but I try to do it with less salt and more water.
    I use a teaspoon of the Salt mixed with Lime and I chug down 16 ounces.
    After that I make 34 ounces and drink that down as fast as possible.
    I also keep drinking the plum juice every morning which is supposed to be gentler on the body compared to prune juice.
    For Breakfast I made the Plum, Tangerine, and Grapefruit mixture.
    Drank down 30 ounces asap.
    I had a tough time with the 3rd glass because I had the 50 ounces of water still in me from an hour and a half earlier.
    I got it down but my stomach was upset for about 30 mins.
    Most likely the Sourness of the Grapefruit and the Plums this time.
    Also I am using the other juicer and it creates a ton of air inside the juice.
    I have to stop using that juicer and the plan is to get a slow masticating one which I think I will go with the Tristar Upright Version.
    It cost about 300-350 but I think it is worth it for my fruits.

    So some time went by and I juiced up some Carrot/Broccoli Mixture.
    I drank down 16 ounces and stored 54 ounces so that brings the Juice total to an even 100 for the day.
    No meat cravings and I am getting close to the 30 day mark.
    I am considering 40 days only because of some reports that I have read about 40 days being the most optimal for any fasts.
    After 40 days the body doesn't react as well and other problems can occur.
    Not that people haven't done 92/100/150/365 Day Fasts with no problems but I like that number.
    Something about the number 40 is sacred I suppose one could say.
    I know 40 days was good enough for Jesus. The number 40 is all throughout the Bible and very Significant.
    Anyways I will make a decision soon.
    I am pretty sure if I do 40 days of this I will move to a 40 Day Fruit Diet mixed with Juicing.
    After that I will decide where to go from there as I see how the Fruit Diet effects my body and brain.

    We went to Whole Foods today for a few sale items. In the frozen section I noticed they were selling frozen wheatgrass shots. It was a pack of 8 for $10 something, connected cups like how multipacks of yogurt or pudding cups are, with the cups a little bigger than a shot glass. I don't have any more details as the place was a madhouse and I was in someone's way so my husband was moving me along.

    We used ice cube trays to save cubes for later use of something - I want to say cilantro but it could have also been parsley - when we got an abundance one year when we subscribed to a CSA package. Whatever it was, I remember it being fine to use until it was gone, but I wouldn't do normally unless I end up gardening some day and growing too much.

    Good Tip on the Frozen Wheatgrass Shots. I think that is a good, inexpensive choice if you don't have Fresh or time to get Fresh. I will look into that so thanks. I wonder if it is pasteurized or flash pasteurized.

    It seems I am at a solid wall of 242lbs for 3 days now.
    That makes sense after dropping 4 pounds in a 24 hour period.
    I am curious to see how long this wall holds up.

    I have gotten into the same routine now.
    42 ounces of Plum, Tangerine and Grapefruit Juice for Breakfast.
    I drank it all straight down as I juiced it.

    I had a mug of Hot Water with the usual Fish Sauce, Cayenne Pepper this time and Lime

    After a few hours I juiced up the Carrot/Broccoli Juice.
    I was able to get 80 ounces this time
    Total Juice Consumption for the day is at 122 ounces.

    This wall is strong now at 4 days of 242 pounds.
    It seems my body is adjusting to the rapid weight loss.
    I am only 48 hours away from my original plan of 30 days/720 hours of a Juice Fast.
    I hardly struggled at all and never felt bad except when I shot a couple ounces of straight garlic and ginger juice.
    That was pretty rough on the system like shooting some drug with a dizzy rush for about 3 to 5 minutes total.
    After doing all sorts of reading I am still believing that being a Pescetarian is the best option.
    You don't even need to eat that much fish per month. 12 ounces is plenty and you should rotate different species.
    I may have to get into fishing again. I used to fish all the time up until about the age of 16.
    However I like the option of catching my own and eating it as fresh as possible.
    Strippers are running soon out at Lake Mead.

    I have also been reading about the Lectin Free Diet.
    It seems to be the new Fad and gaining traction.
    Not a bad idea and it has many vegetables on the list so just eat those.
    The big thing in my mind is balance and moderation.
    I think those are the big keys along with Exercise which is a must.
    Get out of the Casinos and away from the computer/tv screens and get out in the sunshine.
    Head up to Mt Charleston and get some cleaner air.
    Keep the diet balanced and incorporate juicing and smoothies.
    Watch and record your weight daily and stay on track with your selected regiment.

    Anyways, I decided to get away from the Fruit for now.
    So instead I decided to juice up more carrots and broccoli today.
    I was able to get 144 ounces Pressed and I gave 8 ounces to my Uncle.
    I drank down 18 ounces on the first Press and another 18 ounces on the last press.
    Stored the rest in the freezer and will drink 15 ounce glasses every hour and 15 minutes.

    I was out of any produce so I had to pay more at Albertsons and spent 18 dollars for one day.
    I also bought some Turmeric which I plan to take every day now along with the Ginger and Garlic.
    They charge $8.99 a pound which seems pretty high.

    Today's Juice intake will be over a gallon at 136 ounces.
