I know many of you are into Vision Plays.
I most likely got on this at a bad number since the minor was very low.
I started at $95.76 (must award by $100 so they say). Resets at $80

I started with $100 in the machine.
    My session was 10-15 minutes.
I just fired max bet and stopped the reels asap.
I hit 6 or 7 bonus rounds of 8 free spins each.
I ran really good in those bonus rounds.
I was up $300+ when I hit the must hit.
I cashed out $504.86. My wife kept the 86 cents.

Here's a couple of pictures since you all think everyone is some sort of armchair gambler that lives in Vegas.
I don't normally mess with this but I am guessing you want the minor to be up close to the $50.
Free Roll into the Major unless the Major is something like 98 or 99 maybe... I dunno.
The experts will be in here shortly to teach us all hopefully.
WoVers hate it when anyone discusses how to play games like these but I don't mind.
I am pretty sure every property sets the game at different payback anyway.

    I'm guessing you don't want my opinion since I'm a WoV'er.

In all seriousness, what was the meter move? That's probably the most important aspect as to whether or not something is a good play. I'm almost sure it wasn't where you started, but it may have been, if the meter is something like $1.50 or $2.00, which is possible. One type of machine at my, "Home," casino has a $1.50 meter move on the Mini (must hit by $40) and a $2.50 on the Major (must hit by $300) so you see them good sometimes, but mostly the Mini.

Anyway, you have to know what the meter was for me to give you any kind of opinion. I didn't see you mention the meter.

You have a point. I was playing so fast I didn't even think about it and of course since I got up on the jump I didn't think to check the actual movement. For me it felt too slow. I would have to guess that it was .25% or .5% meter movement but I can't be sure. Certainly not over a 1% meter movement. I have played this game in many spots before because I fell into the Minor being up so high. With the Minor at 48/49 I never even thought about it on those plays. It is very rare for me to play the must hits like a lot of pros play them. They will play the minimum and play for hours to break off that 500 or whatever they are chasing and they are correct in how they do it. I just have other things to do so usually I just hammer it out playing max bet if I even mess with them, which for the most part I do not.

Since the last 8 days or so I have been staying home mostly concentrating on a dietary change. I have been actually playing online mostly. I still put in some hours on machines and picked up free play all over town but I have been playing some online video poker and some online livepoker/tournaments (World of Collusion). Good thing Dan Druff is around to thwart poker cheats in general.

I have been following your fasting thread, actually. I hope it goes well for you, I just don't have much to contribute because the probability of me doing that is zero. Something like $48 on a $50 meter is not good, unless it's high-48. If you happen to check that machine again, I tend to express meter moves by $0.01/$X.xx, like a penny per $5.00. I know that's the same as 0.2%, but, for some reason, it makes it easier for me to do the full must-hit calculation mentally.

You would think you couldn't do a long juice fast but it is easier than one thinks. First you have to be committed. Second once you get the initial poisons out of your body you will be fine. Plenty of Energy. It is amazing how much energy fresh juice can inject into the blood stream. No difference from drinking a couple of cokes and getting a rush. The big difference is that coke has some serious side effects compared to a juice rush. If you drink enough juice or water or a combination you won't have any problems with hunger and most of that is temptation or in your head so to speak. The big problem that you can encounter is bathroom trips. Especially if you do a salt water flush. It is pretty much like anything else. Once you have your mind set you don't even notice or miss the ice cream or fettuccine alfredo or mac and cheese or prime rib or whatever.

I made my uncle two cheeseburgers for his dinner tonight as I juiced off 60 ounces of carrot juice for my dinner. I also deep fried potato wedges for his french fries and toasted the egg/onion buns for him. It looked good but my mind is set. I'll be doing 30 days for sure and have 21 days to go but I most likely will be going for 60 or even 90 days and after that I am going to go Fruitarian for awhile after that. I still have to get the Spirulina and most likely going to get into some herbs as well. After that I will either go vegetarian or vegan... not sure just yet but most likely going to get into a regiment of 21 days of food and 7 days of fasting or juice fasting every month. I may switch it to 20/10... I just haven't decided yet.

About the meters as I said I think it was something like .25% or .5% of movement so it was either 1 penny on 4 dollars or 1 penny on 2 dollars. Seems easy enough to me. Like I say. When I play games like this I just fire as fast and max as I can. I still mess with the mustangs and play the same way. I have never lost on these Ruby Stars though. Next time I do mess with it I will figure out the movement for sure and update you. However my vision plays are single progressive reels that are 3x to 6x the starting meters. I know those games too well to worry about it. On average on those plays I am coming out ahead in the thousands so I really don't fret to much on the 50 and 100 dollar shoot down games.
