Gotcha. The first one is more of what I`m looking for then. Hadn`t heard of that last one, but the title makes it seem very nontechnical, which is the opposite of what I`m looking for. Thanks.

So 0.05% isn’t significant, but 0.06% is significant. Got it.

There you go twisting things again.

At issue in this current thread are the additional comps for $500 or $600 of play. What do you think you'd be comped for playing through $500 or $600? I think that's worth about fifty cents.

In the other thread you referenced the point was the value of the play with a million coin in. Sure you'll get more play and with Caesars you'll get a higher tier score.

    But the added comps?

You claimed to once have been Seven Stars. You know that $600 of play only got you 60 tier points at video poker. You need 150,000 tier points to make Seven Stars. And what comp did you get for the sixty points? Was it six cents? LOL

Whether 0.05% is significant or not depends upon the effort required to get the 0.05%.

If it's a matter of walking a few extra steps to play a better machine, then 0.05% is significant.

If it's a matter of playing on a different day to get extra points, then 0.05% is kinda significant (depends how much trouble it is to switch days).

If it's a matter of playing at the casino next door instead of the one you're at, then 0.05% is significant (assuming the comp programs are equal, etc).

If it's a matter of getting cheated out of something owed to you, 0.05% is very significant.

If it's a matter of playing significantly slower in order to be careful not to screw up obscure rules for optimal play, 0.05% isn't very significant.

If it's a matter of going way out of your way and taking a lot of extra time to get to a better machine, 0.05% isn't very significant.

If it's a matter of introducing a lot of unwanted variance to get a better expected return, 0.05% isn't very significant.

Personally I don't obsess over the super-rare VP plays which will just slow me down and make the game more stressful to play.
