Thread: Your use of cash back

  1. #1
How do you use your cash back? Is it returned to your gaming budget or used for non casino purposes?

  2. #2
I use freeplay on short term advantage plays to capture all the value. I don't get cashback anymore.

What do you mean by "cash back?"

Is that free play, or perhaps accrued points that can be used either for food, lodging, merchandise or cashed in?
    What, Me Worry?

Use what ever you get the most value per dollar for.

If you can take $1 cash for $1 of cash back take it.

It is a vague question. Need all the facts of what it can be redeemed for and at what conversion rate.

You shouldn't be gambling and earning any "cash back" if you owe money to your family members. But If you do, you should use your "cash back" to pay off your debts to family members.

LOL. I'm paraphrasing an old line (that I love) here. What do I do with cashback?

Well, I use a third of it to test Argentino's ARTT (close cousin to LGBT) methodology. I use a third to test stop losses and win goals.

    The rest I waste.

Cash back is cash back. There is no conversion rate. If a casino says you get $25 for your play that day you get $25.

You really don't know what cash back is?

It is not free play. It is not match play. It is not a loss rebate. You get it win or lose.

There are casinos where the cash back can only used as free play.

I've gotten offers like that - they're rare but they were actual cash. Scan card at kiosk, get slip, take slip to cage with ID, cage hands you cash. Sometimes the offers were straight cash, other times they were cash or free play you choose. They were usually specific day and time period specific at local-type casinos 100s of miles away from my home address but in areas where I'd traveled and got on their radar for offers. Sometimes I would stay and play my FP and then maybe use some of the cash, other times I took the cash and just left with it and didn't even play my FP - depended really on what I was up to that day. But if I was in the area and had one of those offers I went and got the cash.

It used to be that you got a voucher for cashback from the player's club and cashed it at the cage. That was cashback. But every casino I know of has converted to freeplay. The money that accrues on your card is not cashback. You have to run it through at least once on a machine.

But there are probably some still around that give cashback. Alan, what casinos are giving you cashback instead of freeplay?

I've only seen this in Indian casinos.

Many places you can download it right to the machines and can it right out.

Four queens still has actual cash back and then comp separate, no free play except for the offers. The D was that way until sometime in the last year when they combined players club with GG.

    Stations does cash back.

Should say "can cash it right out."

Then that isn't CASH back, is it?

Stations has cash back as well as free play. And some comp points can be taken as cash.

At least for machines I thought stations it was all accumulated same place and you can use it for any of the three you want, didn’t think they accumulated in separate buckets as Alan’s post seems to imply.

I agree with you, but that's what these casinos in question call it. More false advertising.

I was not clear. It is shown on one account. The account breaks out "points" as a total, then it shows what amount of the total points can be used on machines as free play and that amount can be taken directly as cash.

For all the purported "knowledge" depicted by the know-it-all ap's around here, you'd expect a more smooth-flowing fountain of information.

I understand mickey not really knowing much about the topic because vpfree is mired in a month-long shock over the business changes (ie, belt-tightening cutbacks in the slot club freebie dept.) at Boyd's, and there hasn't been a lot of cash back info to plagiarize lately.

Simple answer: there's plenty of casinos that still offer cash back around Nevada, and you people should be ashamed that you don't really know that. Mr.V also claims he can't follow Alan's poll purpose, which isn't surprising given he still wishes libtards ran the country.
