Thread: CET Comment

I don't think anyone else has brought this up, either out of respect for Mr. Mendelson or out of a lack of empathy for Mr. Mendelson, not sure which. But let me say this.

I'm not sure how long Mr. Mendelson was Seven Stars, but it was for a stretch, and he seems to have been a loyal CET/Harrah's customer forever. I find it utterly horrendous, both as a business practice and a diss to a longtime customer, that CET did not make any attempt to carry Mr. Mendelson as a Seven Stars for a year or two with room benefits even if he technically didn't qualify. Here's a man who (1) donated a fair share each year, (2) gave CET good and repeated press, and (3) was a high profile journalist who got married at a current CET property. And you mean nobody in CET's management stepped up and said, "Duh, let's carry this guy for a year or two?"

It boggles my mind. Is CET that tone deaf? Do they just use up customers and spit them out with no aforethought? Don't they care if a media personality has nary a bad word to say about them? It actually frightens me that a company could be so unyielding and insensitive with one of its older loyal customers. Here's a guy who was Seven Stars for years, who has had a bad business struggle recently, and they cut him no slack?

Just goes to show you the bloodless bean counters addicting people left and right with just about zero empathy. That's CET.

    Lol!
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

    Try this:

"How low the once 'mighty' have fallen."

"That was then, this is now."

"What have you done for me lately?"

It's a comment about how you no longer seem to have the financial wherewithal to bet at the higher levels you once seem to have favored.

Why would I play at Caesars when I no longer need hotel rooms?

If that's what redietz was getting at he's struck out again. I moved to Vegas last December. The last time I was at a Caesars property was for the New Year's Eve dinner, show and parties but didn't make a single bet. In fact I haven't made a bet at Caesars since before I moved to Vegas in December. Why would I?

I still get free show tickets thru the various show ticket groups here and I get plenty from Stations.

Nice essay redietz but a waste of time again. Do Singer and I keep you up nights?

I'd have played at Cosmo. Rooms (and the "scenery") are a zillion times better!

Jbjb I was in Cosmo only once near it's opening, and I thought the casino was small and had few video poker machines. Has that changed? And the craps tables were (brace yourselves) $100 minimum which has always been out of my range. Has that changed?

They have had decent, by your standards, vp when I've been through there. Can't comment on craps tables as I never look at them. Been a long time since opening night too.

Besides the high Limit craps tables, the crowd is too young and too rich so they just impress each other with how much money they can lose. No respect for the game and no idea how to play the game.

Jeez--I sound like an old man.

Definitely not the place for you old geezers on weekend nights. You all might have a heart attack oogling the girls.

We got pills for that jb. What's really bad is needing pills to want to oogle the girls.

I ain't quite there yet, but my tastes in oogling may be aging a bit. Up to about 25 now.

Too bad you haven't figured out how to hang on to one of those "gals" for a lifetime: that's the way to go.

IIRC you've multiple divorces under your belt and even one annulment.

Ever ask yourself why you're so difficult to tolerate?
    What, Me Worry?

MisterV ever wonder why you're stuck with the same one?

That question alone speaks volumes. Actually one of many such questions from MrV.

You make it sound as if it is a valid question to ask.

    It isn't.

The preferred, socially accepted way to go through life is married to someone you love and who loves you.

    Works for me.

But it's not for everybody; many folks are unable to find a partner, let alone make it work out in the long run.

Ah, I see your problem with women: you don't believe in the long run.

    Hookers don't count.

There is zero doubt, I have gotten way more quality tail than you have and in a much shorter period of time.

If I wasn't married, I would pawn you on getting chicks, and that's a fact.

Your BS reporter shit and BS gambling stories don't impress anyone, especially chicks. You are VERY uncool. One look at your hallalula royal video and they chicks will die laughing. Their twats will dry up faster than your credibility.

You might be able to get some 65 year old strange.

MrV is one of those "lucky" guys who flies through life without ever experiencing the sorrows and pains that make true joy what it is. He's "way up there". Just a different sort of asshole.
