Thread: Question for APs

  1. #241
Bill, your façade as a logical debunking dude asking reasonable questions is taking a hit. Do you mean to say you cannot admit you were wrong about the 100,000 hands? Again, I have no idea if kewlJ is a blackjack player, a short order cook, or an assistant to Heidi Fleiss in Pahrump. But you, Bill Yung, made an argument regarding hands per year that is simply wrong.

Just admit it and move on.

Anybody can make a math error. Just say, "I was wrong."

It ain't that hard. I used Tampa/Bengals Under in a teaser two weeks go. I was wrong. See? That's how it's done.

Reverend Jim Ignitowski on Taxi. What do you do when approaching a yellow light. Answer. Slow down. Whaaaat dooo youuu dooo wheeeen?

So 100k/52=1923. Bill. 100,000 hands played in a year divided by 52 weeks in a year equals 1,923 hands per week. I wrote it as slow as I could.

Bill Yung: I am growing very tired of your trolling. I have given you far more respect than you deserve and tried to answer questions from you and others regarding my play. And everytime I do, you twist and respond with things that are completely untrue. Things nowhere did I ever say. You just pull shit out of the air to suit yourself. I am really tired of these trolling games and those with an agenda to discredit me. I am going to show you the decency of answering a couple of these trolling questions one last time and then, if you continue with this trolling behavior, I block you. That simple. I simply don't care what you believe or want to believe in the face of reality.

First your repeated poker questions. I don't play poker. I have never played a single hand of poker...not a single hand or round. I know absolutely nothing about poker. I made a statement that blackjack and poker where different in that blackjack players are playing against the house, while poker players are playing against each other. So stop fucking asking me about poker. I don't know. I don't care.

Next, I have explained my style of plan, a style of play I came up with when I moved to Las Vegas, designed to take advantage of the greatest benefit of Vegas, many, many playable games within a very close proximity. And I used the mistakes of my previous home base, almost 6 years of playing Atlantic City as a guide of what not to do, to achieve my top priority of longevity. And while I generally have shared too much of my style of play, I have intentionally left some specifics out. And if you can't understand this, then you are an idiot. But that doesn't give you the right to just make shit up.

I don't play many 8 deck games. I have said this many times. IF I do play an occasional 8 deck game, it is because that game is offering something special, something worthwhile for me to do so. Examples of that "something special" would be really deep penetration, like better than 7 decks before the cut card. Or heads up play with better than average penetration. Or on 1 or 2 rare occasions, because there was a side bet that was beatable under certain circumstances that added to the EV and SCORE or the game. But even with a side bet opportunity which is rare (its been years), I wouldn't play a full table at an 8 deck game. There is just no money to be made there. The last time I played a full table of an 8 deck game was back in Atlantic City and I left there in 2009. I won't even look at an 8 deck game with more than 1 (maybe 2 players). So stop with THAT crap that you have just made up.

Next, you keep talking about empty tables and full tables and what stands out and what doesn't, when it is now crystal clear, you don't know much about blackjack, and know even less about blackjack in the U.S. (I don't know where you are, nor care), and you know nothing about blackjack in Las Vegas. You didn't even seem to know that there are far more casinos off strip than on the strip.

My play is based these simple concepts. Short sessions, escaping the most negative counts. That means wonging out of negative counts. And if I can wong out of one negative count and wong into a much more advantageous positive count at the next table, EVEN BETTER. If I can't then I just move on. There are many, many blackjack tables, table game pits, and even casinos in Vegas. Way to many for me to sit and play through a negative count.

Now heads up play offers a different opportunity. I can still wong out if I choose, but I will often play through some moderately negative counts to get to better counts when playing heads up. The greatly increased EV of the game, allows you to do that.

And there is one other scenario that I seek out and play that I don't talk about much. That is big fight nights or other event nights and/or sometimes even a busy holiday weekend. The advantage of this is that table limits are higher, players are betting higher and pit personnel is busier, with buy-ins, fills, ect. I can play much higher limits than I normally do. These are the kind of games that I am max betting $800 and on very rare occasions bumping through that $1000 threshold to $1200. And NO I don't stick out. If you were familiar with Vegas, you would know that these busy times means there are all those southern California people in town, betting big. My wager are right in line. And while the trade off to playing these higher limits is that the tables will be more crowded, I still would never play a full table.

The bottom line is that I use a hodge-pough of techniques, none my own, all learned from different players and sources, that provide me an increased advantage over just sitting at a single table and playing for several hours (known as play-all approach).

Now, like mickey said, I don't give a rats ass, whether you or Alan, or Singer or coach belly or any of you other anti-AP fraction believe me or not. It's not going to change my income or success because I have convinced some anti-AP troll. But I will close with one of my favorite lines. "It doesn't take all that much to figure out who knows what they are talking about and who is just talking". IF you really haven't figured that out by now, then that is on you. But the truth is I suspect you, Alan, Singer and others HAVE figured it out. You have figured out that I know exactly what I am talking about. You just can't allow your self to accept that reality, because each of you have decided you don't like me, for a variety of reasons. And again, that is YOUR issues not mine. But I simply am not going to continue playing your troll games. If that is all you are about and it seems it is....move on to your next target.

    Excellent summary, kewlJ.

Let me make things easier on you. You block Bill, and I volunteer to be the "next target." I can't wait to read what flaws there are in my reportage. It should really be interesting, as now I will actually know what I'm talking about, and I'll be able to competently evaluate what Bill Yung says in its entirety.

KJ. Basketball is a little (no, a lot for me) like blackjack. I can't imagine someone picking up a book, being told, or trying to tell someone how to become a varsity basketball player. Have you ever seen a varsity player playing basketball with regular kids in PE class? I have, it's pretty hilarious and the skill level is drastic. Hence, it doesn't matter how well a varsity player can pass the ball if a regular kid can't catch it. Bam, right off his face and out of bounds. lol

Therefore, my suggestion (not that you need my advice) is to remain mum in the future about your blackjack activities. You're the VP in PE. THAT should be enough. No?

I have no doubt, I will shortly be blocking bill, followed by Singer, Alan and others. I am really tired of this shit. I wake up in the morning, go on line to read a couple blackjack/AP sites (even sites I am banned from) see if there is any discussion that I might benefit from or maybe get some piece of information that might be beneficial in some way. And this is always my last stop, because there is almost assuredly nothing useful here...just trolling by an anti-AP fraction of bitter losing players. So I respond to a couple things and then head out for my day.

Maybe I check in once during the day, especially during lunch, since I now eat alone, or maybe I don't and again log on in the evening after returning home. Either way there is the same small group of people logged on that were there in the morning. And if you look at their posts, they have posted frequently throughout the day. Translation some of these guys are on here 24/7. They have no life outside this forum and their trolling.

And while MrV will object to this comment, near as I can tell this group of anti-AP trolls with absolutely no life is all older guys in their late 60's, 70's 80's. I don't know if there is even anyone else under 40 on this site? No offense intended to most of you older guys. Most older guys, like most people are normal and decent, but there does seem to be a fraction of older guys that are just angry and bitter. I guess at themselves for where they are in life, so they take it out on others. They are just uncapable of saying anything that isn't nasty and offensive.

Well, I am tired of it. If that is the site Todd (dan druff) likes and wants, I'll just block all those guys and only respond and participate in normal conversations and discussions with the handful of reasonable people left.

I wonder if there is a way to not only block members posts out but also block them from being able to read your posts?

Moses, I like talking blackjack as well as other advantage plays that I might learn something. Even non- advantage play gambling. I like hearing other players experiences. There is a lot to be leaned from sharing experiences. You can learn from other player's mistakes.

Unfortunately, as you know I am banned from a couple of the more legitimate forums (as are you from at least 1). Not for ongoing trolling like some of these guys here, but due to one specific incident, where I called out a player that was intentionally misleading other players and members. (sort of similar to Singer here). That's the way it goes. Unfortunately in the AP community, personalities and big egos come in to play often (I take some of the blame for that).

So I am reduced to participating here if I want to talk blackjack and there is a discussion. Again that's the way it goes. So I am going to start blocking the nothing-but-trollers and just converse with the few normal members of this site.

The majority of in that age group are raising families. That's the rule. You're the exception. Just getting to the late 60's, 70s, 80s is an accomplishment in itself. Growing old ain't for wimps.

IF you live long enough, you're gonna get pissed off. For the most part, I read humor here.

I often thought about starting a forum and not allowing anyone to post. Sort of a Norm Jr. type of thing.
Or joining a forum where no one ever posts? O wait! I did.

Without further ado, it is time for another version of Deech’s Anagrams.

Today, the word is “billyung”. Admittingly, to Bill’s credit, he does speak “un glibly”. Then again, others will state he is “bullying” and posting some “lying bul”.

Sorry, that is all I have for today.

    Isn't that called a blog?

By the way, speaking of holding grudges. There are private forum. I don't know if you are aware but there is a private BJ forum, run by a longterm member of one of the top teams (not MIT), a pretty BIG (hint) and known player. And all the top players, including many BJ Hall of fame players are on this forum although none will admit publicly that it exists.

So to become a member, one of the current members has to sponsor you and the other members vote. So one of the players recently sponsored me and I was voted down. I was voted down because there was extensive lobbying by both the forum owners that banned me Norm and Shack. I expected that from one, the other, he just continues to disappoint me with his smallness.

The main reason, I even wanted on this forum was to eventually sponsor my brother, who is still up and coming, still learning the game. I thought he could really benefit from interactions with some of these successful players. Some of these are the players I learned so much from, so I wanted my brother to have that opportunity, but grudged and egos denied us that.

Anyway, if you ask around, this forum doesn't even exist.

I get it. Have you ever been to a corporate Christmas party? Talk about people yammering about their profession. 3 to 5 hours of dick measuring and women complaining. How fun?

Quite frankly, I don't see where you're missing a whole lot of those forums you classify as more legit. Gambling is a narcissistic business. I'm guess you are focused in a casino. I'm aware of my surroundings. There are some real dip shits lurking.

For example, a guy strolls up and buys in for $90. Now, who the hell buys in to a $25 table for $90? The guy is a well known dork and screwed up my perfect scenario. So I went for a whiz and to talk to a couple of buddies in the sportsbook. He comes up and tells them he just got cleaned at the blackjack tables. Lost $15K in 20 minutes. What a dumbass!

Define normal. lol The first 4 letters are a scary coincidence. But if you tossed everyone considered not normal, who would remain? I'd have to grab the seat of the back of my own britches.

KJ. Stop leading with your chin. Try to have some fun and not take it all so serious. Maybe then you'll make to late 60s, 70s, 80s and become a grouchy old fucker. Isn't that what life is all about? LOL

O boy! Where do I sign up? I'm sure they'd love my ass on that forum. I wonder what the over/under would be on days until they banned me. Norm's line of bullshit doesn't smell any better than anybody else's. No? I don't know Shack. Is he the guy that does blackjack video with the ladies with huge hooters standing next to him?

As for the rest of what you wrote, it's all a bunch of meaningless crap to avoid the obvious inconsistencies in your play and claims.

Oh, KJ, before you take your ball and go home, or resort to some other sack of crap, tell us all how poker players lose more than blackjack players. Particularly, how is a poker player's EV different from a blackjack player's? How could the game of blackjack exist if all blackjack players won, assuming that any do? My very first question to you, still not even an attempted answer. You are dead here.

When they can't talk shop, they talk shit.

That question is still open to you, Moses. But you are as big a flake as KJ and Mickey.

No wonder your life is crap.
