Thread: Question for APs

  1. #41
Bill. Obviously, you've had your ass handed to you in a casino a time or two? I get it. I don't touch slots. I wouldn't play 312 cards out of a shoe if KJ gave me the $29k as a start up venture. I wouldn't drive more than an hour to play double deck straight up. I won't play single deck with 50% pen or 6.5. But I care less about the others that do. Other than to wish them the best in their endeavors.

But its seems, at least to me, you are on some kind of a crusade to convince these guys not to play. Why? What do you want or hope to accomplish in the end?

Mr. Bill has mistaken his 40 watts for 150. You may want to read up on modern shopping mall design -- all the same principles as casino design. Not an accident. I suggest (as I usually do) "Addiction By Design." Natasha Schull is the author.

Bill, you ain't quite as hip as you think. Psycho-babble is fine. Dim psycho-babble -- uncool.

Everyone is shopper or consumer? How many of us is a gambler? Even the relatively few who do eventually lose their house to some debt from shopping, lose it only in the sense that a debt is paid. Not the same thing as selling or borrowing against the house to gamble. Shoppers move the economy ahead, but not the gamblers or gambling.

Ah, but none of what you wrote goes to the heart of my argument that the casinos adversely manipulate all of its players. Furthermore, no one has to become a shopper "by design" either. Another "game" to avoid all together.

The idea was never to change anyone on any of the gambling forums. Obviously. Even they who think that they are only thinking about getting into gambling have already decided to do so.

Let me repeat an ex. from before. As good poker players work with others tacitly, in terms of the optimal strategy, in a hand of poker to ensure that no one overpays an opponent with the best hand (because that player might not return the favor) it's similarly optimally strategical the other way, to treat all of one's "opponents" as a group, without distinguishing one from the other. To play the group, but in a special sort of impartial way insofar as everyone who attends a gambling forum gambles. Isn't a gambling forum a perfect spot to do that? Sure, it's "harder" when they all get along, but still.

I have written here as well, before, that it's the same sort of thinking with working on a "theory of everything". That old thing that someone said about being completely right if and only if you disagree with everyone else. You have to work at it so that more comes out of it than simple disagreement and bitching.

My thinking led me to the forums, many years ago, and, then, I began to see what really interested me about these places.

I have to admit I'm curious as to what makes me people think and do some of the things they do. I wouldn't have given it a 2nd thought a few years ago. Perhaps boredom set in. A guy absolutely gave me an iron clad guarantee during the Warrior game last night they not only wouldn't cover but the they lose the game outright. They won...and covered by a 1/2 point.

Now, I will give you an iron clad guarantee he won't remember it today. He's a curious one. Sort of like Ernest T Bass. Lots of movement, endless chatter, and jumping to touch the bottom of the TVs but falls about 4 feet short with his 2 inch vertical leap. HE tends to irritate those around him that don't know him and some that do.

There were a couple of other guys that quietly took the Warriors over in the 1st half and the under in the Lakers 2nd half. No fanfare. Just good handicapping.

I beginning to read many of the same traits on a forum that I see in a casino. Particularly in the sportsbook.

Forum owners lay out their forum rules, from day one. But the AP's seem to think that they have to change everything, complain excessively about the other posters, every other little thing, and, then, end up making threats to the owners. Pout.

Could it be an over-compensating reaction to "getting the gears" from the casinos, all day long?
Onehit, you got your ass kicked off this forum. Then you got kicked off as Bill Yung. How the hell did you get back on, weasel?

What the heck are you talking about? Perhaps, you put this in the wrong thread on the wrong forum.
It's not my fault you're a dumb fuck with no reading comprehension. Why do you psychobabble so much? Get a life.

You may be as wrong about Bill Yung having been banned from here as you are about Bill Yung being OneHitWonder. Did you complain to Dan about Bill Yung, as well? Ha.

Simple. This forum is currently unmoderated due to Dan's health issues. To be honest, it wasn't a whole lot better pre-Dan's health issues as Dan only took an interest on rare occasions. One of those occasions was onehitwonder. Remember Dan banned him and OHW, came back like a dozen times in the next 48 hours, until Dan figured out what he was doing and finally put an end to it?

Well now Dan is now here, nor capable of putting it that effort, so this OHW/Bill young clown is taking advantage of Dan's situation and absence. Just another example of what a low life he is.

You'll whine about a thing if it involves a hairy ass. And if you can't tell, your fantasy old man boyfriend mickey has no tolerance for anyone who doesn't buy his BS.

So go get some cheese with that whine and see if you two could get to know each other just a tad bit better.

Proving once again, what a very sick human being you are Argentino.

Something I have noticed is that your anger/hate/bitterness level goes up exponentially when someone exposes that your whole online persona and all the claims that goes with it are a complete hoax. In this recent instance it is MaxPen who has looked into your history, which is so easily available and discovered the truth. A bitter old man, angry about how his life turned out lashing out at those that have experienced success in an area (gambling) that he dreams about.

Wait is that description of Argentino/Singer or Alan? And THAT tells you why their attacks and agenda are so similar. Sad! Very Sad!

Based on massive UX vulture play (thousands of screens) at both Nevada (state-regulated) and California Indian casinos ("self-regulated" - lmao), I would not argue with someone who takes the position that you're on your own at Indian casinos.
It's amazing that California allowed this.

They should have required an outside state-level regulator of these casinos in order for them to operate in the state.

This "sovereign nation" crap shouldn't apply when these casinos are aimed at gamblers outside of the reservation.

Still trying to figure out what Bill Yung is going off about....it's like he's saying we (APs) are all suckers for some reason just because most gamblers are suckers.

I think Bill Yung is saying he doesn't believe the winning claims of the APs. It seems that if you claim you're an AP no one will challenge you. But if you are not a self announced AP then you're an addict, a loser, a liar, a worthless old man, a crook... take your pick.

My congratulations to AP mickeycrimm who hasn't had a losing month since 2007.

You mean that I'm mistakenly comparing KJ to most gamblers? Generalizing? Your respected leader, the leader of the AP's? The guy who drives to something like 30 casinos a day? The guy whose money every AP would kill for?

Honestly, RS__, is KJ the mailman, or something? When does he have time to make all those millions? How does he not stick out like another sore thumb, always coming but going in the same breath? How does he get all those black chips out without anyone noticing? He never buys in, is that it? What sort of red flag would that be?

No, RS__, I'm not saying that KJ is a sucker. He is the biggest sucker/joke of all. You never see anyone in any casino like KJ because KJ couldn't survive in any casino. It's obvious to me that he got his much older, dead partner's house. As obvious as his having to sell it to stay in the game.

KJ's million(s)? Show me where I ever said anything about million(s). I have made a little over one (singular) million from advantage play in 15 years.

30 casinos in a day? Could you show us where I ever said anything close to this? I hit about a quarter this number of casinos in a day. Some days as few as 5, some days up to 8.

AP's would kill for KJ's money? One person said something to this effect...Moses. I suspect Moses thinks or thought I have more money than I do, so I even went on record as to how much bankroll I have and can get my hands on. Having clarified that, I suspect I have much less bankroll than Moses and most other AP's.

And of course the nasty lie about my late partner.

Everything you posted was untrue. I lie. Everything! Not a single speck of truth in your entire post. You can't argue the truth, so you make up everything you want to argue.

KJ. Could it be you've allowed Alan, Bill, and Singer to get in your head? Understand I'm not criticizing. Flash got in my head. Remember the game to be won is in the casino. Not on the forum.

It seems odd, at least to me, that you get more upset with these guys not believing or changing than you do losing $29k. Hate me all you want! I'll take the $29k any day.

KJ. I think I said "if I had KJs money, I would burn mine." It was a joke. Don't think I said anything about killing anybody. I'll leave that up to the criminal element that definitely exists in my area.

They haven't gotten in my head Moses. I am just correcting the record. This is a group of bitter, old degenerate gamblers, unhappy with their gambling results and life, so they attack and try to discredit players that have registered some success. I am not going to allow them to lie about my accomplishments, of which I am proud, without correcting the record.

And this is exactly the point. These clowns take everything out of context. Twist, manipulate and flat out lie about everything that was said to suit themselves. They can't make their case on the truth, so they distort and lie about everything. I simply won't allow these lies about me without correcting the record.

KJ, I thought that I would throw you guys an "easy one". Something to get yourselves into a dither, more fodder to bug Dan, a sweet dream or two.

Look, everything I wrote in my previous post in this thread was in the form of a question. You have yourselves boxed in so badly, that there really aren't any alternatives to your wiggling.

Still waiting on your answer to how playing poker changes any mathematical chart to do with EV. Hey, I was smart to ask this one thing first. I still hope to get to the other 20 or so lies and contradictions to do with those two consecutive posts of yours from a couple of weeks ago. We can do this the slow way, or not at all, depending on how well you grow some balls over the coming weeks. Or not at all. You could just stop posting for a few weeks, again, and hope I and everyone here with a brain mysteriously all disappear.

P.S. Are there any blackjack forums that still allow you post such silly self-centered gibberish, garbage and lies? Are your internet days over too?
