They are reporting here on sports radio that Bovada has had 3 straight losing weeks and their single biggest loss ever this past weekend. They claim they got murdered on parlays with everyone being live to new England and New Orleans.

Has it gotten that easy Redietz--lol?? Just pound the chalk??

It was fascinating to read the reports, because I would not necessarily have thought this. Big fave money aside, there was money chunked in this week on Pitt (probably because the two offensive tackles for Ravens were no-go), Atlanta, Denver (loser), Seattle (loser), and Rams (loser). So sitting here, I was surprised the books took this big a beating. Jets Under was a big move. That was a winner. I know the five consensus Superbook Contest plays were four winners with Tennessee to play.

I was in contention in some comped offshore contests without spreads, and I got killed because I stuck with opening line faves to win outright, like the Ravens and Redskins.

Redskins hurt me too. I am also in a no-line contest. This was actually my worst week and I will fall significantly in the standings. Losers were Jets, Washington, Denver, Rams.

I sometimes prefer lines as the dog (obviously) becomes much more appealing.

I went from tied for sixth (out of a couple thousand) in Northbet to dead in the water. Dropped more than a hundred places. Everybody took Pitt, Falcons, Houston, and Chargers. I'd rather play spread contests, too. The Northbet college contest is spreads, but it's just the high profile games, so not my forte. I'm sitting 40th or so. My record isn't any good, but most people tanked versus the spread big-time.

Bovada is still playing games with the lines. I just bet Detroit +7 -110 for $55. When I clicked Place Bet the win box showed $47.83. Its not an accident. They are doing this shit on purpose. I had trouble with them the last time I tried to make bets. I'm waiting on customer service to see if I can cancel the bet. If they keep pulling this shit they lose my business.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

I don't trust the on-line bookies or the Indian casinos. No regulation and nowhere to go when they screw you.

Here are some numbers from last week regarding high profile ATS records. The consensus five most-taken games from the Westgate Superbook Contest had been under .500 for the season, then last week went on a 5-0 blitz. The five featured NFL handicappers in USA Today had been getting killed, but went 38-24-3 ATS last week. Tremendous records. So the public, and the high profile public handicappers, did have a breakout NFL weekend.
