Thread: HiLo vs Hi Opt II is it worth it?

C'mon maaaan. The never ending question at BJTF. Is that all you can ever discuss?

Answer for shoe games? No. or ask KJ. Personally, I wouldn't play out of a shoe with KJ's chips...and he's got a bunch of 'em.

Answer for pitch games? No for HiLO. No on Hi Opt II. Unless you own a time machine.

    There, was that so difficult?

Zee, ZEE, ZEEEE your work ethic or lack thereof has finally up with you. Two words. Casino Tolerance. Game Selection. Actually, that's 4.

So you're saying that playing a Hi-Lo strategy for all BJ games is obsolete at this point, due to casino heat and lack of playable games?

I'm saying both Hi-LO and Hi Opt II are useless in today's pitch games. Betting on the process of 312 cards (a shoe) is not worth my investment of time or money. Sports betting, as you know, it a far more viable solution. For one thing, the time invested is much less and the choice is yours, either A or B. No heat, pit, EITS, or chatty dealer trying to trip you up.

KJ lost $29k in a week playing blackjack at a $500 large bet average...and he's one of the best. What is the most you've ever lost in a year on sports bets at $500 per game average?

In pitch games, one must give a little more effort than simply HiLo. But jumping off a bridge with Hi Opt II came and went the pen of the 80s.
Real world discussions and solutions would be nice.

    $3000 camp?

RS writes: If you want to waste an hour and $17, you can meet up with Tarzan so he can tell you, “These cards are +1, these are -1, and those are 0. Here’s a basic strategy chart and here are the indices you should learn. True count is the running count divided by number of remaining decks. Aren’t you glad you saved $2,983? Lesson’s over.”

Or read what RS just said and save the additional $17.
