When I wanted to shut down the forum he begged me to let him have it so his many articles about CET (which are now out of date and without relevance and value) would not be lost. He also told me when he was banning certain people including Rob and Keystone -- but then let them return. He said they would be supervised and restricted in their posting and that turned out to be false. Meanwhile traffic and participation here plummeted, which he denies but I know the truth. Dan has had problems winning at the WSOP and his gambling struggles impacted his heath and he admitted it. With poker in decline he started to post sports picks and while he looked at the site often (I could see when) he did nothing to actually do anything to monitor it, except for token gestures that were quickly ignored. .

I tried. Note to Moses. There is no shortcut. No easy answer. You just have to do the work required...and it's a ton because first, you have to separate the shit from honey. Thus far more than any job.

Edited to add: I gave this forum to Dan free of charge. As soon as I did was immediately saving $400 a year in hosting fees that I paid Dan to host it on his server. So Dan is losing my $400 a year while he preserves his out of date articles and has a place for his sports picks. I guess it was important for him to have all that.
