Some guy named Reich was playing QB for the Bills; I vaguely remembered him from his Maryland days....
Lol. I sort of remember that guy. I had the 49ers in "The Catch" game in 1982 vs Cowboys. We were jumping up and down like crazy. I think it was my first $100 bet. But what most people don't recall was the pass to Drew Pearson and the game saving tackle. I do, because I'll never forget the lip quivering on my buddies face.

There was this sports writer for the Rocky Mountain News that gave his sports picks in his column. I called my way through the channels and talked to him personally. IF you don't mind me asking which ones do you really like? He got a chuckle out of that. Then, he gave me his picks and I went 8-0. Trouble is, I called a friend who went through a bookie and said he didn't get the bets down. That same year there was a computer programmer at our company. He said he could input data and pick the NFL winners like it was magic. Being a kid, I followed his computer all the through the NFL playoffs and Super Bowl. Went 0 for 11. Of course, he got everyone of those damn bets down. A 19 game turnaround. Ok, I'm sick now.

Mark Grace used to say that whenever he was in a big slump, he would find the fattest, ugliest chick he could, and then have sex with her.

He claimed that would break his slumps, and referred to it as a "slump buster".

I wonder if LA Gus knew of that reference.

You were hoping wrong. The "AP's" here all win....mickeycrimm even wins every day he plays. They all appear in anonymous form as well, just so there's no misunderstanding about their prowess. You either take their word for it or the insults will come your way. So when tableplay asserts "night has no meaning to me" he's giving you a chance to take back your denigration of the sacred ap's around here because slumps just don't happen to these expert grinders.

In answer to your question, when my results aren't where I want or expect them to be, I change my game to the game of life. My home and family life along with all my comforts derived from getting into serious gambling only after thoroughly preparing for my family's future, is worth so much more to me than being one of these socially decrepit, no-future casino rats.

Good luck....because good skill alone is not enough.
In other words, Robocchio is a degenerate gambler. He's very fond of the marty.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

NO, he reported his biggest loss at 33K. Remember? Soft Profits?

You must not keep credits on the machine if you cashout 40 credits every time you hit a full house.

Well, this may be a Robocchio moment. I leave that to others to decide.

To the extent that I'm an AP, "Rob" was completely wrong in his post above. Historically, I lose about once every six to seven years. I have losing months all of the time. I won the first six weeks this season, then lost three weeks in a row, including one where I got whomped. I then eked out a profit each week since then, but nothing wowza. So I lost in October.

I actually lost six Wise Guys Contest games in a row this season, the first time in 30 years that has ever happened.

I find it very odd, and maybe another echo of projection, that someone who emphasizes the percent of sessions won, which matters not at all to anything, would go after APs for allegedly claiming that they win all of the time. Basically, the thrust of Argentino's video poker claim to fame is that he "wins all the time." Go ahead -- check those 7000 posts. Find some where he says he lost or took a beating.

It must be a projection thing. The video poker player who never reports losing criticizes APs for not reporting when they lose. Very psychotic stuff.
Just LIKE you red to make this all about you. I have no idea if you consider yourself an AP or not. All I know about you is you solicited me for money to play your so-called sure-thing sports picks. So given these facts, your explanation seems to be just another one of your confusing stories straight from outer space.

I've always reported losing when it happened--which was about 15% of my sessions--when I wrote my column in GT and kept a weekly cumulative log on my site.

If you're talking about here, I've only posted jackpot pictures of $100k, $50k, $50k, and the $25k net from four jackpots at SP. Although I seldom get to play these days since I retired from being a professional gambler, there's been a few losses and none larger than $2800. But name one poster here who gives ongoing results from their play....REAL play...not the internet forum fantasy a phony attention and relevance-seeker like kew makes up.
Will you put up some proof of your accusations about redietz? Proof or it didn't happen. Or is that nose of yours getting longer.

No, Robocchio. You are the one that is always demanding proof on everything but you never prove any of your claims. Hypocrite.
