Kind of funny MrV. I waited until I was actually on my way to announce that I would be there and there was still someone there and asking around. It wasn't Rob or Alan or redeitz, because I know what they look like. It wasn't Axel, because I have read a description of him. But somebody, that obviously lives close to downtown came looking and I would bet if wasn't a fan. lol

Now why would ANYBODY bother to take a chance on getting some weird disease as they go looking for you in some bastardized Santa get-up?

You know this thread was a failure. Just try to compare it for a moment, to how many of the local hot shot "AP's" would have shown up if I had announced I was going to this run dressed in a Rock Hudson outfit

There's something about us that wants to connect a face to what people say.

It's not surprising that someone might have lurked there just to satisy their curiosity: I doubt anything nefarious was intended.

    We're curious apes.

Was it a 5K, kewlJ? That would have been cool.

There was a "Fairy Princess" 5K in Johnson City a couple of years ago. I wanted to run wearing a tiara. The girlfriend said no. I look great, bald with a tiara. It's my look.

So we're having our match race? Great. Fairy Princess versus Rock Hudson. It's a natural. Any side bets?

KJ, I would love more details on this. Not calling BS, but there were thousands dressed as Santa there by all reports. Are you saying someone knows your name and was asking at registration? This is beyond creepy if true.

The good news is everyone looked the same and hopefully you blended in. Doing this run is something I want to do, but always miss it by a week or 2.

Details: Some middle aged dude was asking some of the younger guys if they were me. Yeah, everyone was dressed as Santa...that was the point and why I wasn't too concerned. In hindsight, probably shouldn't have mentioned it though.

    This is Barney,

Now the LID likes to participate in such events near casino he plays the game of the craps and the video pokers at. He reads the stuff on this forum in hope he gain increase his edges at the video pokers although he is not member. He is currently in the Las Vegas and may have participated in the event described by the most greatest Kewl personage. Last year in the London area, he participated in such event near casino with Dan Mahoney (a professional craps player) and I took a picture of him having most geatest time. I had to edit out Dan Mahoney (a professional craps player) picture out because he doesn't like his ex wife's know what he is up to.

You know it wasn't Axel because there is zero chance I would go looking for you.

If there was someome that had an intrest in looking for you it would not be hard for them to spot you.
