Thread: Casinos with electric vehicle charging

  1. #1
Red Rock has an EV charging station on the valet level of the garage. Rincon in San Diego has the charging stations outside their garage. The photo below was at Suncoast in Summerlin. I haven't seen a charging station there and this driver from California has a gas powered generator chained to his wheel.

    Other casinos? Fees?

Bellagio has them in the garage near valet pickup.

Peppermill and Atlantis have them in Reno. I can't remember if GSR has them, but I think it does.

That get-up should be illegal. It's dangerous to leave running portable generators unattended. That's the first item on the warning page of the booklet. It's offensive enuf we have to look at most of those foolish effeminate cars, let alone possibly be put in harm's way by them as well.

Many of the breweries in CA have them installed as the liberal fucks think they are doing good buying these wastes of taxpayer dollars. But then again most of them don’t pay taxes. I’m sure some in Nevada have them or are considering it.

Can’t believe I agree with Robbo on something.

    What taxpayer dollars?

Wasted on government subsidies to fund the development of these cars and for incentives to purchase them. All wasted taxpayer dollars.

Electric cars ain't worth a damn in the mountains. Batteries burn out quickly.

It's likely the majority of these stupid electric cars are driven by California flakes. All that green nonsense makes them look dumb. When you add it up, these idiots are paying MORE for way less of a car, they have to buy electricity to charge them, their batteries are anything but green, and the morons who use portable chargers need something called GASOLINE to run them and about $800 to buy them. Then, try driving somewhere like from Phx. to Reno in one without having to stop to charge the batteries.

My big RV gets 4.5 diesel mpg when I'm towing a car, and one of my cars might get 15. I never separate my garbage (what a waste of time!) and I take especially long hot showers at home and in hotels. The key to a good life is being comfortable with no added hassles. Electric fairy cars fight that effort. My generation figured out its problems and we came out fine. Let this new crop of yuppies do the same without inconveniencing the masses with their green crap.

I always thought that electric cars had several problems including range and lack of charging stations. My friend has one for local, hometown driving but concedes that if he ever had to drive somewhere more than 40 miles away he would need to rent a car. The electric car he bought was a "low range" model.

I didn't consider the safety problem of that generator in the parking lot. Thanks for pointing that out. I wonder if the Suncoast Security did something about it?

The lady that owns the cab company in Butte, Montana bought a couple of hybrids figuring to save money on gas. Butte is built on the side of a mountain. The batteries burned out in a year. She had to pay like 10K to replace the batteries and that was going to be a yearly cost. She sold the hybrids.

It was touted for years that H G Letourneau had developed a perpetual motion motor once started and it was on display at his factory. Rumor had it that the government passed it off as fantasy. Don't know the full story but he was famous for his large earth movers. I DO have a personal interest in solar rechargeable electrics.

Government incompetence at its finest. The giveaway was easy to start but bureaucracy will make it almost impossible to get rid of. And if a Trump wants it gone, it’s probably staying because of fucks like Ryan unwillingly to make the right decisions. And of course come January the libs will try to move it up to $15k, and agree to leave it at the same $7500 as “compromise”.

Unfortunately, such a machine would violate the 1st or 2nd law of thermodynamics thus making it impossible to exist.

Then there's the dangerous pollution of nuclear energy. It's gonna take a groundbreaking discovery and probably be cost prohibitive.
