MaxPen, you know the whole blow-up with Me and QFIT at WoV, that lead to Mike banning me, without really knowing what it was all about?

Well what it was really about was a guy on Qfit's site, handle of T3 (now three) who was making mathematically impossible claims that were influencing other players. He used all kind of phony alternative math and talked in circle, muddying the waters, as these people tend to do.

So anyway, two of the claims from this clown were that his super-duper count allowed him to achieve results that were mathematically impossible and that he could do so without the usual variance involved.

So Moses here, although he is frequently critical of this T3 player/person, seems to have adopted or accepted both of these impossible claims as his own. Moses speaks of a "column count" very similar to what this clown described and now Moses is peddling the same "no variance" bullshit as well.

I know Moses is not a sock of this T3 person, but this is exactly the kind bad influence, some of us were worried about and why we felt the need to speak out. I don't think Moses actually plays much, and if he does it is very low limit, but this is just the kind of accepting and repeating of ridiculous, mathematically false and impossible claims, that I was worried about.

And yes, I know it's not my job to protect the world, but this kind of BS does bother me. It bothered me on Qfit's site. It bother's me here. It bothered me with Singer. I can just see some inexperienced player buying into these kind of BS claims and getting hurt.

First I never tell any newbies to take their shot. I never, never encourage anyone to follow this path. On the contrary, I try to dissuade anyone considering this path. I often tell people blackjack card counting advantage play works best as a supplemental thing, a profitable hobby or supplementing income or retirement. The glory days of card counting are gone...before my time. There is a ceiling to both longevity and earnings.

It is only if someone has made that decision on their own, that I try to help them be prepared by sharing what some of my experiences were/are. I resent the implication that I encourage anyone to follow this path.

Second, how dare you repeatedly say, I don't lift a finger to improve my game. I am at the top of my game. I think I am a pretty humble guy, but I do things in my field of expertise, which is the multi-deck shoe game, that there aren't many players doing. Tracking multiple tables. The longevity that I have achieved by implementing certain techniques, etc.

I may be a salamander (according to King James), APing at the bottom of the AP chain, but I have made that my field of expertise. And I think any serious player recognizes that.
