Really old pic. Sal Sagev is the original name of the Golden Gate. It's Las Vegas spelled backwards.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

I posted this picture earlier, but what I just noticed and what is amazing to me, it that there are maybe 70 people in this picture, and not a single one is fat

you reminded me. I've been trying for years not to think about how much my baseball cards were worth that my mom threw away

I know I had a couple of Mickey Mantles, Roger Marises and Willie Mayses

This reminds me of a recent discussion on Facebook regarding an old film from around 1920 of pedestrians on streets in New York City. No one was overweight.

The reality is people weren't fat because they didn't eat like they do now. And this is a relatively new problem.

I look back at my class photos from elementary school and no kids were fat. But today, I see fat kids getting on and off school buses every day.

When I was a kid, after school we rode our bikes or played catch with a football or a baseball, we cut the lawns, we walked to the bowling alley... today kids play on their cell phones and previously they played on their gaming systems.

When was the last time you drove through a neighborhood and saw kids playing outside?

3:56. I didn't realize Double Exposure Blackjack was that old. I knew Stupak created it, but not way back then.

In the first 30 seconds we see a big marquee advertising Barry Manilow at The Riviera. So in 40 some years Barry Manilow has moved 2 blocks to the Westgate.

He was there in 1988 when it was the Hilton. You'll see at 1:09 in this 1988 drive video.
