Thread: Albertson's Monopoly 2019 Rare Game Piece Trading Thread

  1. #1
    ***** THIS IS THE 2019 THREAD *****

If you're looking for the 2020 thread, click here.

    ================================================== =======================================

The game starts on February 6, 2019.

The rare game pieces for this game are listed here: http://raregamepiece.com/albertsons-...me-pieces.html

    RULES FOR THIS THREAD:

**** IMPORTANT *** You are NOT allowed to post trade requests in this thread unless you ALREADY HAVE a rare or semi-rare game piece. Consult the rare game piece listed above to find this out.

You MAY NOT offer to "split the prize" This is because common pieces are worth almost nothing, and the semi-rare pieces are worth at most $300. Any attempt to offer a 50/50 split will result in a DELETED message and a ban from this forum.

    You MAY NOT request any of the following pieces, as they have no associated semi-rare piece: 302BA, 308DB, 309AC, 315CD, 318BE, 321AF, 327CG, 332DH, 348DK, 351CL 353AM, 358BN, 362BO, 365AP, 372DQ, 379CS, 381AT, 388DU, 391CV

You MAY NOT request super-rare million dollar pieces 336DI or 341CJ.

I will DELETE any messages violating the rules, and might BAN you from this forum.

    In addition...

    - You may NOT offer your "common" pieces for sale or trade, UNLESS someone with a rare or semi-rare piece is asking for it!

    - You may NOT ask to buy any common or semi-rare pieces unless you already have the rare piece!

    - If you only have a semi-rare piece, you are NOT allowed to charge half the prize value, or anything near it. Anyone who asks for more than a few hundred dollars for a semi-rare piece will have their post removed.

    - No junk posting allowed.

In addition to Albertson's, this game also exits at Safeway, Pavilions, Carrs, Vons, Randalls, Eagle, Pak ‘n Save, Tom Thumb, JewelOsco, ACME Markets, Shaw's/Star Market, United Supermarkets, Market Street, Amigos, United Express, Albertsons Market, Lucky (Southern California only) and Super Saver in the states of Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming.

    - The official website for this game is: https://www.shopplaywin.com

    - If you are new to this site and want to post, you need to register here, and verify your e-mail address to be approved.

The list has been updated again.

We are already almost done. Only 6 rare/semi-rare pieces remain unknown.

Also, we are still trying to discern which pieces are rare and which are semi-rare for the 8 top prizes.

But we have the most accurate and earliest-updated list of any site on the web, so keep checking back.

I have the 335CI game piece. Hope you find this one as the rare piece.

I've got 343EJ, I want this to be really rare and not just semi!

  7. #7
We've identified all of the rare and semi-rare pieces, but haven't yet differentiated semi-rare from rare.

Please post which rare/semi-rare pieces you have from the 8 biggest prizes.

    I have 401D. Rare or semi-rare?

It appears that 336DI and 341CJ are the two big rare pieces, for the two $1,000,000 prizes.

If you get either of those, do NOT split the prizes with anyone. Instead, just buy the semi-rare for a few hundred bucks at most.

Probably both semi-rare, given the long odds against rare pieces for the top prizes.

Once again, please read the rules and adhere to them.

I have a list there of pieces you may NOT request.

This includes the two rare million dollar pieces (336DI and 341CJ) and the rare pieces which do not have an associated semi-rare.

Furthermore, you are NOT allowed to post in this thread unless you already have a semi-rare or rare piece.

    I have game piece 394BW.

    Rare or semi-rare?

I almost gave it away to someone.

Where, oh where, is my bestest friend ever with game piece 397EW?

I have 416D$, checking every day to see if it's rare or semi- rare.

  15. #15
At this point in the game, I'm guessing that both 416D$ and 394BW are semi-rare.

I’m missing only one piece for the $100,000 cash or boat prize.

    I need the 397EW piece.

    I have 394BW

I have piece 335CI. Does anyone know if rare game pieces are only available at certain states and or stores? I've been at mutliple Albertson's in Socal and hitting duplicates now.

    It's completely random.

My guess is that 336DI won't appear until the game is somewhat underway, though.
