So on the 24th day of the year, I moved into the black for the first time. Yahhhhooo! (where is the dancing emoji)

At $187.50 blackjack profits, I could buy myself a good steak dinner. It's a good thing I don't have rent to pay.

24 days is really nothing. In 2013, I was in the red until mid April, the longest negative start to a year I have encountered. Funny, thing, was results exploded over the next 5 weeks that year. 115, thousand dollars profit in 5 weeks. It seemed like every max bet, every double down, every split won during that period. And 2013 ended up being my best year ever as far as blackjack results (still is).

Boy I would like to go on a run like that again. But regardless, at least for today, when I look at my year to date records, I see a spec of black among that sea of red, where yesterday there was none.
