Thread: Royal flush on Facebook

This was on Facebook. Look at the pays for a royal. At San Manuel, an Indian casino near LA.

By the way, this belongs to one of this forum's self described APs that I met at Rincon some years ago.

I seen these in about 10 different casinos.

I saw this at Harrah's New Orleans in 2015.

Nobody working there could explain it. After looking into it, I was told by some slot attendant that it was a "mistake", but it was unclear when they'd be fixing it.

The return with optimal play is 98.8793%

This is why you check everything before playing a casino game. This goes for table games rules and pays as well.

And the player playing only two coins?

It's the exact same since there is no difference.

Remember, a standard game is 250, 500, 750, 1000, 4000. This one is 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500. There is no reason to play more than one credit in this version of the game. Why this person played 2, I don't know. At least they were smart enough not to bet 3 for a potential hand pay.

There are some spin poker games where can only bet one credit per line, but get the full 800 for a royal.

He won $1,000 with a $2 bet. On a 25-cent game with five coins he would have won $1,000 with a $1.25 bet.

Agreed. But on that particular machine and pay table, there's absolutely no reason to play more than one since there is no bonus for the royal. And yes, given choice of either, play the standard 250, 500, 750, 1000, 4000.

The payscale has been around for years. Sam's Town used to have an 8 coin dollar progressive with this payscale. The royal started at $4000. That was 20 years ago.
