You lose it because you play -EV games. Not because of other people.
Uh, I won $700. I was talking about the health aspect. Duh!

That doesn't matter...it doesn't conform with the narrative...he sees what he wants to see.

The fact that you can play -EV games and win is beyond jbjb's comprehension...but let's face it, freeplay was beyond his comprehension until he learned about it here, and moving out from his mother's basement has always been beyond his comprehension.

Some folks here want you to win, and they offer advice to try to help you win.

When did jbjb ever try to help anybody win? Ask him to explain anything and he tells you to figure it out for yourself.

jbjb posted over 2000 times with the intention, expectation and preference that he will not be believed.

How fucked up is that?...how fucked up is he?

As the Ancient Hawaiians used to say, "Don't throw one rock at two gooses when you're inside a glass house and they're outside of the house."

    IOW: You're mentally disabled.

Rob. Don't you think you are being a little too hard on MaxPen? I mean he's been agitated since he was a baby. It started when his mom boarded a bus. The driver said "eck, what an ugly baby." She sat down fuming and told the gent sitting next to her that the driver just insulted her.

The gent replied, "you go up and tell that bus driver off but good. It's okay, go ahead, I'll watch your monkey."

Coach. I've met a lot of "decent" persons like Max Pen. Most have the commonality of constantly trying to extract their head from their ass.

Okay that was actually pretty funny.

It's this simple. We (AP's) think long-term. You guys think short-term.

You can tell us about your $700 daily wins, but at the end of the year (long-term), you lose how many thousands? Just like Alan. 100k win one day and STILL a loser for the year. THAT is the result of -EV play.

Conversely, I can tell you about a losing day ($8800) or a losing week ($29k) and at the end of the year, I am still ahead 80, 90 thousand dollars. +EV play.

If you don't grasp the difference between long-term and short-term results in relationship to +EV and -EV, you are destined to be Alan Mendelson.....losing year after year after year.

That is about as blunt (and harsh) as I can be.

Max Pen is a gaping asshole.

His head fits right where it is, and he gives himself the old in-out, in-out with his own head.

What's worse is that he's like that on purpose.

Same with RS...these lollipop guild guys are straight-up punks...fucking hand-jobs.

Who are you replying to, and why are you still taking shots at Alan when he is no longer participating here?

Just think where you'd be without those losses!

Not a shot at Alan. Just a hard reality. Alan and some others here think short-term. So they record some short-term wins, but in the end they lose. They HAVE to lose
    The math says so (-EV).

    AP's do just the opposite.

Different people have different tolerances for risk, which means that no investment is a wrong choice, except for the one you jump into without careful consideration. Risk does tend to correlate with return, but that doesn't mean you can't make good money while being prudent.

    KNOWLEDGE REDUCES RISK.

The most valued asset that constantly gets overlooked in gambling is time.

I'm a recreational gambler, I play -EV games and have lost in the long run.

    But I'm OK with that.

I gamble for entertainment, for the rush: it's kind of like a drug.

Do AP's feel a similar feeling when they gamble?

Drugs will make your stecker pick out. So I'm told.

I feel like I'm going to throw up before nearly every game I bet on. If I lose? I do. I've only thrown up 3 times since July. lol I rarely watch the games I bet. But it's weird, watching a bet football game is 10 times more stressful than a baseball, hockey, or basketball game. Even though it's the same amount of money.

Blackjack has a reverse effect on me. It calms me down. It's sort of like feeling at home on stage and uncomfortable in the crowd.

Difference is, you aren't making bogus claims that what you do is how to beat -EV casino games.

Just think where String would be without those losses.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

Taking a truth pill, I have to admit I'm not above some of the items pointed out in the OP. Simply put, it's what or who I am or have become. Now I know of people who try to live the perfect life and do everything correct. I did it myself for over a quarter of a century. Many of those people are secure, but miserable in their lives. It doesn't ALWAYS work out for the best.

Money is a funny thing Mick. Suppose I made $300 in a blackjack session. Many on a forum would consider that chicken feed. However, the dealer sees it as a small fortune. Did they tell me that? Well, sometimes. But, look around, on a snowy day. The dealers that remain are damn happy to get the overtime or extra hours while the others are stuck at home or told not to come in because it's slow. Therefore, money is in the eyes of the beholder and best not discussed.
