Interesting. Where did you play and coach? IF I'm not being nosy.
Damn, I find it hard to believe anybody would give a university a name that could be shortened to that. However, come to think of it, when I was going to university they just finished a new administrative building and officially named it Administrative and Student Services Building. I still can remember the headline in the student newspaper.
Anyway, speaking of university, tonight is the all nighter snow statue making for the university I went to. Folks from all over the midwest come to see the snow statues. Back in my college days a couple of times I was involved with this. Tomorrow pictures should be available.
The arena in Philadelphia where the 76ers and Flyers play is currently named the Wells Fargo Center. Back when I lived in Philly, prior to Wells Fargo acquiring the naming rights, it was called the First Union (also a banking institution) Center. Night after night, when I would watch the local news they would say down at the F.U. Center the Flyers won (or lost).
Of course Friends University never called themselves Friends U of Central Kansas. They never even called themselves Friends U of Kansas. The “some” was refferring to our opponents...they sometimes said that as a joke.
The other reason you’d never do it is because Wichita is not in the central part of Kansas. It’s in the southern, eastern part of the state. Our opponents needed the Central in there to get a C.
Looking forward to seeing the snow stature pictures. It always amazes me what people can do with snow, and sand. Sand sculptures can also be impressive.
I'm curious Bob. There was a nice young man who posted extensively at BJTF for awhile before getting banned. I remember he was from the Midwest and an avid golfer. Sound familiar?
MTU 2019 snow statues. They don't look very impressive this year. I've seen much better.

Hi Lo TC2 represents 8.70% of your large bets. But the win rate is only $3.96. TC 5 represents 6.27% of your large bets with a winrate of $43.38.
This is what I mean by a game of people played with cards. The TC 2 will come with huge swings to the upside which draws attention to you and huge swings to the downside which put you in catch up mode for when the TC 5 comes along.
Hi Opt II TC 4 represents 4.81% of large bets with a winrate of $2.53. TC 5 another 2.71% large bets with a winrate of $3.99.
This is why people get backed off with these high powered counts. What's to say a TC 4 won't become a TC 6 on the next round? Thus putting you in an even better position of power.
This is what I mean by letting the game come to you.
Long Term results are great for sims and SCORE discussions. But play the game to win short term and don't kid yourself about long term. Why? Because our opponent wins by forfeit.
Don't get 86ed or making catching up so difficult by "chasing pennies."
