I don't really know how long the window is to edit, but it is short, maybe only an hour.

We are suppose to get another foot of snow tomorrow. All I been doing is snow shoveling.
Good point Midwest Player. If you get banned here, you really screwed up, and probably deserved it. The good news is if you get banned here, thereís always zenzone. From what Iíve seen, I think itís pretty much impossible to get banned over there. If that happens, hell has frozen over.

Iím pretty sure Moses will let people ďon his islandĒ. Itís good to know we have an island that will welcome all of us if all the forums should go on ban overload.

Btw, until Bosox mentioned it, I didnít know we were limited to only 5 posts a day here. I guess Iíve never got to that limit. I think a better policy would be for members to get 10 posts a day as long as their posts are decent and their insults are high class and somewhat creative. For the memebers who only know how to name call, they would be limited to 5 posts per day. What do you think? Itíd probably be hard to do so I get it wonít happen...but I like the idea.

Of course, all are welcome on the island of No-Norm.

First time in 45 years this happened to me and I believe it was negligence on my part.
I fell again the last time I shoveled (couple days ago). I didn't break any ribs this time, but I was shoveling for almost an hour and was pretty exhausted and when I went down my head must of hit the deep soft snow as there was snow all over my face and between my glasses and face. Damn, it was cold. I knew I wasn't hurt, but hell it was hard to get up. I was near my car and actually reached up and grabbed the mirror to help me get up. I think this was my 3rd fall this winter. In fact, I almost went down earlier in the day when one foot went off the hard packed trail and went down a couple of feet into the deep soft snow. I managed to regain my balance with the help of my scoop and managed to stay up.

Wait! Did you people in the Midwest not get the groundhog's memo?

I ask this in all seriousness....why would you people put yourselves through the horror that MWP just described year after year after year?

I suppose each July when the national news reports that Las Vegas had it's third consecutive 115 degree day, with a low overnight temperature of 91, people in other parts of the country ask the same thing. But I do plan a couple trips just to escape for a week or two each summer. Why can't you do that MWP? Hit up Vegas, or Arizona, or Florida, or San Diego for January and February. You have earned it.

In the meantime MWP, I will seriously be sending a little extra hope your way that Winter is almost over for you and you survive what's left.

Can't go anywhere until the dog dies. The damn dog is 16 years old and will probably out live me. I don't think the ground hog heard your message this far north. Here is the forecast for tomorrow.

Additional snow accumulations later Thursday night through Friday will be 2 to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph Thursday night into Friday will result in blowing snow and sharply reduced visibilities. * WHERE...Keweenaw, Ontonagon, Northern Houghton, Gogebic and Southern Houghton Counties. * WHEN...From 10 AM EST /9 AM CST/ Thursday to 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ Friday. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult, if not impossible during the heavier snow. BoSox, the 5 post limit was for new users.

I have lifted it, and now you can post as much as you want.

Welcome to VegasCasinoTalk, and as others have said, it's very hard to get banned here, so you can just be yourself and speak your mind.

Midwest Player and Bosox. FWIW to you guys. I was on the phone with a friend of mine who is about ten years older than me. We used to exchange labor. He'd work with me on my jobs and vice versa. IT was a way to have some comradery and complete the work in more than 50% of the time.

Anyway, I remember one day he was up on a ladder and was calling for me. He was always a do-it-myself kind of guy and nicknamed the energizer bunny. So, I thought it was odd he was calling for me. Well, after about 40 years of going up and down ladders, this day he couldn't longer do it. No biggie. He held the ladder and I went up and finished the job. Form that point on, I always did the ladder work. Never really gave it much thought and we never discussed it, probably because we were always so bloomin busy.

So, thinking of you guys, today I ask him if he remembered that moment which was probably 15 years ago. What happened up on that ladder? HE replied, "for the first time in nearly 40 years, I thought, hmmm, I might fall and it would sure hurt if I did." The mind is a funny thing. Complex equations made simple. LOL Anyways, you guys BE CAREFUL.

Moses all it goes down to is two people that are fixated in their ways. Although I could never handle the conditions that MWP takes in stride. Don't tell him he is my hero.
