May not belong in the LV thread, but the guy has been around LV Forums for years so why not. Looks like he hasn't checked in here or WoV since early February and it isn't like him.

We haven't always gotten along and he stirs the pot at times and plays both sides, but he has been a part of these forums for years and I for one am hoping everything is OK with him. I know he never did PM's and other than showing up at one WoV Meeting, I believe most didn't know who he was.

Best Wishes V, wherever you are.

I will second this. Wishing for the best.

  3. #3
Yeah same here...LarryS too, who actually did what he said unlike a few others

V goes back to usenet at the turn of the century, so yes, he's been around a very long time.

His last post was on 2/2, with a video showing cars careening in Portland.

He doesn't seem like the type to just drop out. Lets hope he is OK and just taking a long vacation.

  5. #5
I heard he was on a vacation, but Poker Grinder is on vacation in South America and he is still posting on the internet. I really do hope Mr. V is all right and not laying in a coma or something even worse. :/

I bring good tidings. Mr. V was on a certain website yesterday! Woo-hoo!

Well with him posting yesterday that ruins the whole V was Luke Perry theory.. But one does wonder.. Luke Dies and V pops back up online??? Hmm... Let the conspiracy theories begin

Very strange for V to disappear for this long.

And there you have it--this may be the penultimate thread for this silly forum: a collection of anonymous cowards claiming to be concerned about another anonymous coward for not contributing with his trolling abilities in a bit over a month.

We may finally have found it--an actual reason to wake up and READ the wisdom on display here today! The Glorious One may have left you idiots all behind everyone else in his life.

Imagine the feeling of loneliness creeping all over the poor little twit kew at this telling moment. You anonymous soul-searching/empathy-radiating living monuments of truth, gambling knowledge and virtue are such Ferocious Brutes!

Cousin Eddie's piece of shit is a dream home on wheels compared to Singer's current abode.
On a positive note though, supposedly there's a McDonald's with free WiFi near his latest parking spot. As soon as he gets this POS mended back up, it'll be Happy Trails Again....

All RV joking aside, when I was a working stiff, my boss had 2 different one. I wouldn't want one.

And most people who work don't want them either. I never did. They're a big waste of money and are a maintenance nightmare, not to mention that they come with all the problems of a vehicle and home combined. The registration fees in most states are stupid, then there's insurance. If I were to register my Class A here in Az. they'd be getting close to $20k/yr. That's why I use my SD property for it, which makes it "only" $800/yr. And finally you have to find a place to pay to park it if your HOA doesn't allow it, which mine here doesn't. Oh....and you have to accept the 5-10mpg in diesel (or gas) whether it's a motor home or fifth wheel/camper.

But you do see a lot of these things out on the roads and in the RV parks, regardless. Some younger people drive them, but after talking to some of them in the parks it's mostly a fleeting infatuation that they can't wait to rid themselves of because of the cost.

That's why so many retirees are seen in them. Basically, aside from the wealthy, we're the only type people who can afford them. You see a lot of RV's in the $10k to $50k range, which most retirees can handle, albeit the added cost of operation and maintenance.. But there's also a growing number of 6 and 7-figure rigs out there that are a result of our skyrocketing retirement accounts. Go out on the country's highways--you'll see thousands of them and millions if you stop at the parks. They're not being driven by people under 59-1/2 (which is when the 10% 401k withdrawal penalty ends). And you know what else? Most of these people frequent casinos.

The Cousin Eddie thing is funny, but the only place you'll see a slob like him is at Ellis Island.

I have some friends with family in South Dakota -- in fact they own a ranch. Big family - 12 kids, now all adults. You know, I bet one of them would be within hailing distance of that $1.5 million beauty. It'd be great to pose with a photo -- you know, not many forum folks have actually seen a $1.5 million RV. It sure would pretty up the forum -- much more than cramped garage and retro CB photos.

    LOL.

Yeah, and mickey parked his $2.5 million RV in Idaho. Not allowed to cross state lines because it's worth so much, it's considered money laundering.

Now if only the anti-AP folks extended their questions a smidgeon to all alleged winning gamblers, then I'm sure some dudes would have questions for Rob regarding his $1.5 million RV. Surely we won't have crickets.

Hey, Mr. Mendelson, surely you've seen the $1.5 million RV, right?

Meanwhile, the Las Vegas Advisor (www.lasvegasadvisor.com) has the Ellis Island steak dinner listed as its top value. The folks at the Las Vegas Advisor must all be slobs. That's why the Travel Channel puts them on TV.

Once again you choose to display your hatred and jealousy in another Martian-rant. Take your blood pressure pills and relax.....And just how obsessed with me can a person be anyway. Think about what the others see whenever you post--which is always and only about me. And all because I exposed your stupid solicitation scheme when you were sweating bullets hoping I wouldn't say anything.

The only place Alan's seen my big RV is right here. You already know spock has been frantically looking for it AND FOUND IT AGAIN, or else he'd be making things up like you do.

But let's think about this. If you finally saw the pic, the first words out of your envious mouth would be "ha!--how do we know that's yours!". And if I put up the SD registration, all you and at that point likely a few other nervous little people, would say "bs--you photoshopped most of it!" But most of all, if Alan were to see it up close and report it, you fools would say "Alan's a big fat liar!"

We already have a few AP-attempts at dry humor over the Wi-Fi I use--which is Cox 300 and Cox gigiblast in my two homes here, and I use a Verizon hot-spot on the road in both the rig and the camper. It's all a cut below what Cousin Eddie has and uses I know, and he doesn't need to sneak around stealing 30 & 50 amp feeds. But I'm a beginner.

You know, Rob, that reward for any evidence of solicitation still stands. It's a shame you don't save emails, or text messages, or phone messages, or print messages....

    Just bad luck, I guess.

A lot of RV'ers in Montana in the summer. They get to see some decent scenery but some of those RV parks are a joke. They pack them in like sardines. No space at all between RV's.

On my other forum, we had an older posted named "delaware" who disappeared a few times for no reason, for long periods of time. This was someone who was routinely active, and then would just vanish.

Every time we thought he died, and then he'd pop back up.

Then he disappeared again about 3 years ago, and a member found that indeed delaware had really died -- obituary and all.

    That was sad.
