If there's one thing that poker players hate, it's a poker "room" that is really carved out of a section of a casino floor -- surrounded by slot machines or blackjack or craps tables. Poker is supposed to be played in a quiet room, isolated from the sound of slot machine jackpot bells, and whoops and cheers from the craps tables and the sound of hand clapping at blackjack.

This is why poker players in Vegas prefer the finer poker rooms found at Bellagio and Caesars and Venetian -- rooms that were designed for poker players where players are not distracted by casino noise and lights.

But now, one California casino has taken a giant step backwards for its poker room. Harrah's Rincon Casino in northern San Diego County has placed three video poker machines inside its poker room.

Imagine -- what poker players want to get away from Rincon managers decided to move in to their poker room.

So what's your favorite poker room, and why?
